I like Quassy overall... But this last time wasnt enjoyable. From my 7 year old being charged like an adult at the gate due to height (thank god I didnt buy his kids pass from AAA). My 7 month old was also told he couldnt ride the train ride because he didnt have a ride band (despite the other 4 of us having one). To a large majority of the ride conductors looking miserable / hate their jobs and having attitudes. The cafeteria at 2 pm on I guess busy Sunday is a disaster. Poor service, low quality food, and higher prices. The main water park area (with the bucket where everyone gets wet) now lets kids control the "water guns" all over. My 5 year old continuously got squirted by occupying bullys, made her cry, and never comfortable to go down the slide after several tries. She is timid and shy, didnt deserve that and had an awful time at an area she used to enjoy. And then came the last magic show, where my 7 year old volunteered to "get cut in half". The sarcastic, borderline inappropriate, burnt out magician actually cut my sons hand! I am sure it was accidental and not intentional. But as my son noticed, so did he, and he just laughed it off and brushed him off the stage. I expect more from a family theme park. We are local, live in Stratford, CT. Came with my 3 kids and wife. Saw several friends and family there today. And everyone had the same experience, "not great nor that fun". I was going to ask for a manager, but my 7 month old was done and the others werent in the best state after all the challenges if the day. Hopefully this feedback is read, talked about and solutions created. I like Quads, but after todays visit. Will not be returning for a while.

Have only been here once with my own children who are 3 and 5, we had an excellent time. The park is small which is great for this age range, big enough for them but small enough for us to run to our car for lunch and swimsuits. Oh yea, parking is $7 cash, we didnt see that on the website anywhere. There is plenty to do between the water park and the amusement rides, we were there for about 7 hours and had to tear them away. I was expecting the water park to be the standout but it was actually the opposite, the water park was smaller than we expected and the kids were still a bit small for some of the rides. The last note of praise has to go to the staff, everyone was very friendly and were taking their jobs seriously, often times staff blends into the background but here they made an impression. Especially Pete D. who worked in this little cluster of kids rides. He seemed to remember all the kids names and would say hi to them whenever he saw them in the park, my daughter started following him around like the Pied Piper. Im giving 4 stars rather than 5 because part of the reason we had such a great time was because the park at half capacity at the most. It was a cloudy Friday afternoon, there were virtually no lines and it was a very relaxed atmosphere, one of the game attendants let my kids play for free just because there was no one else there. If it had been more crowded we probably wouldnt have had such a great time, but its hard to fault the park for that.

Very rude ladies working the Wooden Warrior. They were rude to my group of special needs kids. If they dont have the patience to work with special need children or children in general they shouldnt be there. Give that job up to someone else. Very disappointed. The nasty young ladies threatened to make the children wait at an empty park and let the ride go 5 times before letting them go on again. Thats not how you work with special need children. They were happy they were at the park. I did not address it there because I didnt want the children to see me get upset but they should definitely be spoken to or replaced with people who actually care about children having safe fun and can handle childrens excitement. My group spent a lot of money at the park and with our resources from NY we can refer many other large groups to the park but as of now Im disappointed in the ladies professionalism and their behavior with excited special children who were working the Wooden Warrior. If my group happens to go again and there hasnt been any changes I will definitely address the unprofessionalism it right there in front of my group. They probably do background checks to work at an " amusement" park but they need to do a personality check as well. There were a few others who seemed like they didnt have the patience for their job but the ones at Wooden Warrior yesterday were the worst.

Small and manageable and fun for the 3 and 7 y.o. We went on a Monday so Id imagine it was less busy than on a Sat or Sun. Lakeside is nice to for a freshwater swim. Food was ok...bbq chicken portions in the restaurant and taste were pretty good. Ride operators were friendly. Good move on our part getting there 15min before opening. Would have given 4 stars except for a negative experience on the body slide...waiting approx 1hr not due to long line (it was relatively short) but rather due to mismanagement of an under-height child. Ride operator at top walked the child down unsuccesfully to find parents and then walked child up while preventing any other riders in line from moving using the slide. Not sure if poor training of the operator or lack of management follow up to come to his assistance (he claims to have called his manager but they failed to come). Either way, that was unacceptable and the lines needed to keep moving along while the under-height rider was managed. But all together was a good experience.

My family really enjoys this park. We have a couple of different age groups with our children (2 are teens, 2 are 10,11) and the younger two just love this place. There is a great section of rides for really little kids, a large selection of the bigger rides for older kids, and a few that would please the teens and up. The price is fantastic. I LOVE that you can bring in outside food, and only need to purchase a pass if you plan on riding. Most places, you need to purchase a pass just to enter the park, even if you dont plan to ride. But Quassy offers that freedom. They also offer lots of seating, Pavillions and picnic tables. The Waterpark area is also quite nice, and offers a refreshing option for hot days. I highly suggest this place and our family will happily return again and again
