Ive been coming here for 17 years. The staff is mostly high school or college students but they seem to know movies and best of all they are great at customer service. The renovations make the theater seem on par with new movie theaters but since this is a small one it doesnt have as many food choices. I love that they kept the cheesy "lets go out to the lobby" song.. Lol. I also liked that recently I was able to order popcorn without salt, some small movie theaters dont make that option available to customers but, I didnt like that their "coke" tasted like a sweeter cheap substitute. I never had that problem before but if I do again Ill mention it to the manager. Im sure that they would take care of that issue right away. They seem to want to please customers so Im happy that this theater reopened. It seems like they have more customers than ever before. They deserve the success and the neighborhood should have a good theater.

I gave it one for the price. Otherwise, worst theatre experience ever. The picture was spotty for the beginning. It was out entirely for minutes in the middle. It finally came back after someone had to leave.and get a manager. It skipped a bunch, the frames were lined up wrong, and the visuals still were flashing on and off for a bit. Nobody apologized or acknowledged the issue to us even when we were leaving. We asked for a manager to get a refund or something. The employee who got him kept rolling her eyes and staring at us when we asked the manager. The manager himself was rude, argumentative, and got defensive that we had a bad movie experience. He said we could only get passes if we confessed that it wasn't as bad as we made it seem.

Amazing ticket prices so you definitely cant expect perfection. The reason I give 3 stars is because the staff could definitely attempt to take care of the theater, its very messy. there is popcorn and wrappers all over the lobby and the theater floor was unpleasantly sticky and also covered in popcorn, it seems like they didnt even clean in between shows which is very lazy being the theater is so small. Popcorn was good, the previews were deafening but the movie was a perfect sound level and great picture quailty. Seats were alright, very upright but like I said, you cant expect AMC for $5.00 haha

This place is brand, spanking new! Total renovation - down to the tiniest details. Everything charming - not unlike an art house theater. New seats, new carpets, new bathrooms, new everything! I moved here a short while ago from NYC and quickly discovered that this is the best value in the county. First run, blockbuster movies, insanely inexpensive tickets ($5, $6, $7 max), giveaway candy/popcorn prices and, best of all, the most welcoming, friendly, accommodating people who work there! I am a regular customer and cannot believe my good fortune to have found this cinema.

I LOVE this theater!!! I take my sons at least 3 times a month to see the new releases here. They have great service, friendly and accommodating and you cant beat the prices. I met the owner at Christmas time when I was buying gift certificates to stuff in my sons stockings and he was such a nice guy! We definitely have a gem with the beautifully renovated Teaneck Movie Theater. 2 Thumbs Up!! I tell everyone I meet who tells me they went to the movies about this place, it beats AMC ANYDAY! And dont forget to visit Bischoffs for an awesome after movie ice cream sundae!!! :)

I highly recommend this excellent little theatre with FIRST RUN movies. Clean, well-decorated, with a friendly staff. Restaurants abound and good municipal and street parking. Unbeatable $5 matinee prices BEFORE 6pm. The theatre also has a loyalty plan, which allows you to earn points for bonuses, like BOGO free tickets. Thats like paying $2.50 a ticket! Also look out for the theatres film festivals! One of the Teanecks gems! EDIT: Still a great theatre, but they do not offer the BOGO free deal through the loyalty plan anymore. Such a great perk -- gone. :-(

The new restored Teaneck Cinemas is THE BEST. The prices cant be beat or even matched for many, many miles. The film selection is usually very fine, with a mix of blockbuster, family and indie movies. Projection and sound are first rate, seats are super-luxurious, carpets and cushions all new and clean, and the staff is very enthusiastic and helpful. If want you want to see is here, skip the multiplex and come here for a first-rate, intimate moviegoing experience, in a community (Teaneck) that LOVES the movies.

Sleepy staff with not much to do in the afternoon. Trash on floor of lobby, in front of snack counter and visibly on floor behind counter. Popcorn tubs in theatre from prior show not cleaned up. Personal staff belongings and equipment on snack counter and ice cream freezer. Staff loud through the entire show audible with auditorium door open. Yet friendly and nice. Great prices. Decent projection.

It really is a great place. Yes, the picture is not "HD clear" as it would be at AMC theater but cmon your playing 5 bucks! I really had a nice time at the theater - it has a very nice "old school" vibe, great movies, and unbeatable prices. Also, just a side note: Im 22 and I was def the youngest person in place besides the girl working the counter.

Theater had gone through renovation in 2013-14, interior is nice and clean with updated projection and sound system. Also nice and friendly staff as others have mentioned. Great overall theater experience, plus youre not paying overpriced water, snacks and ticket. This place makes you feel great supporting local business!

I really love this theater. It is one of my favorite things in Teaneck. At $5- $7 tickets (depending on time) I really dont know why anyone in the area would go to a different theater. I love it even more now that I got engaged there!!! Thanks to all of the staff for helping my fiance with this stellar choice.

Cant beat this. $5 for tickets. $5 for popcorn + drinks. Clean, newly remodeled and NEVER crowded like the popular theaters in the area. They only show a handful of movies but they generally have new releases. Park on the side streets and walk over because theres never parking on the main, metered street.

Awesome local cinema that was remodeled/restored and upgraded to digital a couple of years ago. $5 matinees and affordable popcorn and candy. First-run movies and very nice staff. We live in Teaneck and we take the kids here whenever there is a movie they want to see. Great quality at a great price.

This is a great little theater. The $5.00 ticket price is reasonable to watch first rate movies. The staff are all smart and lovely young people mostly teenagers that enjoy their jobs. Perfect place to slip into on a snowy or rainy day and get lost in the magic of movies.

Great family place to see latest movies. Pump your own fake butter topping is worth the $5 alone! The staff has always been friendly, if not interesting. If theres popcorn on the lobby floor it was probably me and my kids right before you went! (Sorry)

I was glad to see someone keep the tgeater alive. It represents more than just movie. I hope it does very well. It was redone very creatively. Its amazingly inexpensive. Just goes to show, there are people who are considerate. Thanks to the new owner.:-)
