Went to see La La Land today. Faulty equipment and they attempted repairs. After the first breakdown, we were given free guest passes for our "inconvenience". Second breakdown (wed been waiting an hour) and were told movie would not be shown. Went to Guest Services for a refund. Told since we couldnt commit to a date and time when we could come again, we could not get a refund (ie another ticket, they werent giving us cash). They said they had already given us a guest pass (the one for our inconvenience) and that was all we were getting. Other patrons who went right into another movie or could give them a date were not charged for the second tickets, in effect getting a refund and a ticket for their inconvenience. This was our first visit to the Brick Plaza theater in quite a while, since it had not been renovated previously. I do not plan on going back again, since we were treated in such a way. I will be using my "inconvenience" pass at Freehold and will continue to go there as I did in the past. Really bad first impression, Brick Plaza AMC!

The staff were very friendly and polite. The the only thing they could have done better was offer myself and my friend, two ladies on canes, help getting our concession purchases to our theater. I would have rated it 5 stars if not for that. The reclining seats are awesome. I will say, though, that if you are a larger person like my friend, you will want to sit in one where you can raise the arm between seats to give yourself a bit more room. Other wise you may end up "butt/hip dialing" the chair controls and find yourself flung back almost flat because they are kind of narrow. While my friend and I were cackling hysterically over that happening to her, some folks may not be so amused. The renovations have made it a nice, clean place (though Im not fond of the carpet in the main area; its an eye killer). You can disregard the previous reviews saying its old, nasty and smells of urine. Our theater was very clean and had no nasty odors at all. All in all we had a very pleasant experience there and would go again.

really bad movie theatre. i always have had terrible experiences here. most of the people in bricktown always are rude and disrespectfull. if u go there and there is a line dont expect if people bump into you words like excuse me or thank you from the counters as these are uncommon traits found all over from the rude people of bricktown. my girlfriend and i went to a movie and some teen girl was brushing her hair in her seat and it was too close to us and we commented and the girl looked at us and snarled. her parents were there and did nothing. aside from the obvious poor standards of the theatre, it is sad that nice people that live in brick town have to go to a theatre like toms river seacort because of people like this. i give it 1 star because u cant give it 0 starts

I generally like the theater, I have pretty much gone there exclusively my whole life, but the fact that they are remodeling is complete garbage. When I go to the AMC Lowes at brick I expect a dirty theater, sub par food, and staff that hates their lives. I feel that is up to my personal standard of living and dignity, and the fact that is being upgraded makes me sick. Now the prices will be outrageous, I will have to reserve certain seats, and the reclining chairs are not good for my circulation!!!! Not to mention the fact that during the entire remodeling process the theater only shows about three to four movies and quickly sells out. AMC Lowes at brick I love you but you will simply never gain the charm that your patrons have grown to expect and love.

Excellent experience. If you were treated rudely by the staff, trust me you definitely deserved it. The staff was outstanding to my family and children. Movie was SOLD OUT and when the staff found out they told my family the next showing wasnt, and that it was showing in Toms River as well. We told them we couldnt make the next showing due to my sons birthday party that night, she told us to hold on a second. When she returned a few seconds later she handed my little ones free popcorn vouchers, then left and returned again a few minutes later and said "I have 4 seats available up front and TOGETHER, Happy Birthday." The whole experience was great and FREE..they gave my son great birthday experience. Thank you AMC.

Very nice since the renovation. The seats are very comfy and recline and has leg support, just like a lay-z-boy. Place was clean and not sticky. Restrooms were clean and did not stink. The only drawback was I tried to reserve tickets online and I had to pay a "CONVENIENCE FEE" and then on top of that, a "CONVENIENCE TAX"!!! I know were in New Jersey but this tax thing brings it to a whole new level....! It was a Monday night and I didnt really expect to to encounter a crowd at a 10pm showing so I winged it and bought tickets at the kiosk at the cashier. As expected, we had the auditorium all to ourselves... mostly. There were 5 or 6 other people there. Thats it.

Renovated nice job seats are comfortable. But I have to say since when do we have assign seats. Really people we pay that much money for a ticket and we have a assign seats.Also I want to see Bad mom I noticed alot of younger people in the movie at a we forgetting to check ids. And parents why would you bring your young child to a rated movie?Lastly you need the benches back in the lobby area so your coustmer can sit n wait for the movie .

This theater was dirty and smelled like urine. When sitting in my seat I stepped in a puddle of liquid no telling what it was. Arrived at the theater with clean sandals; left with sticky goo all over them. Not a good look for Lowes Theater if they want people to continue to patronize their establishment. For the price it cost to go to the movies you definitely should be entitled to a cleaner and more sanitized environment.

Half of the lobby and theaters are still being renovated. Now that the customers are watching movies in the renovated theaters this is a top quality experience. Nice snack bar. Prices are always high for snacks at movie theaters but they have the touch screen beverage dispenser with basically any drink you want. RECLINING CHAIRS! in the renovated theater. Bathrooms still need work. I see good things coming at this theater.

With the updated recliners, the AMC Stuubs program, reserved seating, this place is way better than it ever was. Worth it. Smaller kids that would usually struggle to stay in a seat wont have issues here. The larger sized recliners make it comfy, and people can still walk past with no issue. The larger seats means less people per theatre so selling out is faster, but the reserved seating makes groups easier to plan.

Pretty standard AMC theater. Seating is not stadium style, so Id you get caught behind someone tall, like myself, your view will be damaged. While were on the topic of seating, they arent as nice some some of the newer theaters where the seats recline a little, and there is a little extra leg room for the taller folk. Besides that, parking is good, it is handicap accessible, and the staff is always a pleasure.
