While this theater sometimes gets films that the mainstream theaters dont show, we wont go again. The last two times we went, the noise and disruption was unbelievable. Its partly from an enormous number of rude patrons talking, or illuminating the room because they *have to* send that text message right now (the theater needs to make a very clear policy and start booting people out), but even worse is the fact that apparently no one thought to include adequate sound-proofing between the theaters when they made it a venue for multiple films. Nothing ruins a quiet, emotional moment in a film (or every quiet, emotional moment in an entire film) more than the sound of the epic "action" film playing right next door, the shouting, the explosions. I regret we didnt ask for our money back. The disruption was really unacceptable. Never again, Clearview.

Ya gotta accept this place for what it is. There are few employees and perhaps a few inconveniences because when we go there, were not going to a high dollar make all happy circus full of thousands of people, like at a big name theatre (ie amc).... So gimme a break.... This place is steps from the train, steps from great affordable food, family type diners, churches, parks, a real community feel. You have to love it for what it is, a small town theatre. I remember getting upset about a few of the things other posters have talked about and then I realized I have to look at my own expectations !

Great local cinema. Inexpensive compared to the big chains. Popcorn and soda still over-priced but thats a major revenue stream, so understandable. No reason to go to AMC at Garden State Plaza unless its a real blockbuster and you are desperate for 3D. I use that one as a treat, and Bow Tie as the default.

The theater was clean and inviting. Seating was great and very comfortable. The only con was the slightly disorganized service at the front desk. My wife and I were trying to use coupons and the staff did not appear to know what they were doing. Other than that they were very courteous.

Surround sound is turned off because they have thinner walls between the screens that play different movies. Also, sometimes you can hear trains passing by the station next door. Sound proofing and surround sound a major issue.

On Tuesdays the movies are half off, we went to watch a newly released movie for cheap and got a huge tub of popcorn. The audience was good and became part of my enjoyment of the movie.

Great seats in all the theaters but the downstairs ones are the best. Never crowded. Friendly staff. I always check what is playing at this theater before I check anywhere else.

Older bldg & smallish theater sizes but elevated seating rows makes for unobstructed viewing however movie did not appear to be hi res and was not aligned to screen properly.

Relatively small theater, but with decent seats and nice slope so no one is negatively affected by person sitting in front of them. Booster seats available for younger kids.

Nice smaller theater to watch movies, not crowded on Sunday we went, great value on Tuesdays, concessions were pricey but quick service, chairs were comfy and rocked.

You can hear the train in the upper theatre 4. Theres a big stage in from of the screen-no idea why. Seats are ridiculously small, uncomfortable and dont recline.

I was watching Finding Dory, and it paused in the middle of the movie with almost a full theatre. Then, they skipped 10 minutes of the movie.
