Best theatre in St. Charles! EVERY seat uh the theatres are "reserved/assigned" when you purchase your ticket(s). Seats are love seat couches (lifting center arm rest, stationary outer ones) with motorized reclining feature. VERY comfortable! Lots of leg room, so much so that even with seats reclined, if you have to leave during the show you dont have to "sideways" walk to get through. Small concession counter, but always stocked. Self serve soda machines with touch screen selection for LOTS of choices. In the lobby area, theres even a small bar for the adults. Projectors are nice and bright in the show, sound is usually turned up to a good level without being overpowering. Seen several movies here so far, and on most the low rumblings of the bass are really felt (more than heard) which is different (and kind of nice). All around, this is my new favorite place to see a show. Even tickets are like most places (kind of costly), but the early day tickets [before 1 or 2 I think] are only $5.74 as of December 2015. If youre looking for a nice theatre, good place for a date, or somewhere to take the kids, this is it! Parking outside across from complex or free multi level parking garage which is attached to the theatre. Long review but this one is worth letting you know just how nice it is!

AMAZING, COMFORTABLE seats, amazing screen and crisp sound, but oh the glass! Im 61", and I couldnt see over it sitting on the edge of my seat in the back row (I wasnt even utilizing the amazingly comfortable recliner). There was no hope for my 411" wife. I went out and spoke with a theater employee to try and resolve the issue. She said the glass divider of that height is required by law and that they have been quite aware of the issue. She also said you really have to sit in the front half of the theater to avoid the issue (and they cant make a note of this on their website when you are paying to reserve seats?!?! Neither do they have a difference in seat price as of yet, which is ridiculous). She was able to move us to the very very very front row, which I appreciated. After spending the remainder of the movie focusing on Katniss Everdeens freckles and going cross-eyed, we went home with aching eyes and a heart full of disappointment. They either need to do some serious remodeling, restructuring of their pricing and seat descriptions, or continue screwing-over the back half of the theater-goers and losing market share to an older theater down the street that gives a much better "theater experience"!

I go to the movies 2 or 3 times a month. I usually goto another company down the street but got a gift card for AMC. I tried out the Streets of St Charles. I will never go back to this location again. Not only do you have to pay a fortune for the popcorn and soda, but you have to fill your own drink, and butter your own popcorn, which wouldnt be too big of a deal, but their is no place to set down the popcorn unless you want to set it on the trash can, so then it becomes a balancing act. At this point i was a little upset. I get to my assigned seat and someones in it. They finally move. I seat down and seats are really crammed in their. I then discover as many reviews have pointed out. Their is a glass divider that goes across the screen , so you are basically watching half the movie through the glass and half with out the glass. Then on top of that, the actual wall that the glass is attached to blocks out the bottom 1/8 of the screen. Also they might try to clean the glass between shows!

Just overall disappointed....all the hype about how this was all reclining seats and all state of the art, I was really excited to try this theater especially since its pretty close to home. The design of the seating is just ridiculous. They have what I guess is some kind of glass/plastic safety panel on the top of the railing in each row of the stadium seating. You actually have to look through the panel on about the bottom 1/3 of the screen from your seat. It completely distorts the bottom of the screen watching the movie. Ive never seen anything like that in any movie theater. Also the restrooms are far too small. When the movie let out, there was a line of 10 or 15 people coming out into the hallway. We just left and waited till we got to the restaurant. For my $24.12 for 2 for a noon movie, well be going back to Wehrenberg St Charles 18.

This is the most idiotic theater design! The leather reclining seats are great, and the reserved seating is nice, but its all ruined by the fact that there is a glass divider between each row of seats!! This means that when you look at the screen you get a line going through the middle of the screen! Because its glass it actually distorts the view and makes for less than pleasant watching experience. We were sitting near 4 other people all of which were saying the same thing since none of them had been there before either and had no idea it would be like this. I know I have seen other reviews talking about it too, so my advice to AMC, remove those stupid things! They serve no purpose and you have now lost customers because of it.

Its not that its bad... just not my first choice. Biggest annoyance is the plexiglass partition in front of each row... It seems high. As an adult sitting straight up, it still covered a sliver of the screen, for a child or shorter adult... or kicking back in reclining seats... it covers larger area of screen. Dont expect to get cell signal, just walking into lobby I had no data... Had to step outside to pull up my online ticket barcode. Aside from that is OK... They have the coca cola freestyle soda machines, other restaurants in area, parking garage. And staff was helpful when I lost my phone there.

My new favorite theater! I used to attend the mills mall theater until it became a little less clean, quiet, and......all around nice. This theater, however, has recliner chairs in EVERY theater! I feel like I have an enormous screen in my living room thats the size of my house, lol. Very homey. Very convenient to order tickets online and choose the actual seats you want! Just make sure you look at the picture correctly. I accidentally made the mistake of sitting in the front row when i wanted the back the first time i ordered, lol. Luckily, it was a weekday, and there were many seats open.

This is our go-to place to see a movie. Theaters are kept clean and the seats look well-kept. They recline and are very comfortable. Expect normal high prices at concessions; I would encourage you to join their Stubs Reward Member Program - its a paid membership - as it allows you to upgrade the size of your concessions at no extra cost. The staff is also very good here. Occasionally, just like at any theater, there are folks who like to talk or be disruptive during the film. The management/staff is more than willing to take care of those problems. You just gotta tell them.
