This movie theater has made huge improvements over the last couple of years, to the point that Ive switched away from Regal Moline. Theyve expanded the selection of drinks and snacks, and have redone all of the seating to pretty comfortable chairs. Theyve added some D-Box seats, which are essentially seats that shake and sway in tune with the film (at a premium cost). This was sort of neat for a movie but also really distracting - I couldnt recommend this technology for a movie but it would probably be amazing for video games. They also have an "IMAX" screen. IMAX certification only covers the projector, not the screen - so you can claim to be an IMAX theater with standard screen sizes. That being said, while their IMAX screen is not a true IMAX experience, it *is* a fair bit larger, and is not too shabby for movies that warrant it. This is my go-to theater now.

Theres no better place to watch a movie in the area. A huge selection of movies, both 3D and IMAX 3D to choose from as well. There are also pretty good prices for matinee films and cheap Tuesdays, too. The theater is always clean and the workers always seem to be friendly. Great sound, picture, and good seat quality throughout. People are complaining about snack and drink prices as if theyve never been to a movie theater before. And anyway, you can find some pretty good deals if youre smart. They have been selling refillable cups and buckets for popcorn that can be refilled for $3 each through the entire year, which is a great deal. Plus, nobody puts a gun to your head and forces you to buy snacks and drinks. If you find the prices to be that terrible, wait a whole 2 hours to stuff your face.

its really cool and they don really have a long wait and have the best movies they uselessly have the same movies for like 2 months or so so don worry about its only this long in the movie theater and we cant go any days well you can go whenever basically .but i really like going to that movie theater because its close and its really neat and tidy!!But the bathrooms i am not a fan of because it smells and they need to clean more often even around flu season because my mom did not even want to go to the movie theater around that time and asked me "how much do they clean the restrooms" and i replied with "i don know once a month" and that is what discuss most people out . so if you want a 5 star i suggest you clean those restrooms more often and i am sure more people agree with me

I had to review due to last persons clueless review. IMAX...huh this is one of those LIEmax screens. Go over to the Putnam you want to see a real big screen like its supposed to be. Even though that place lost IMAX brand. He also raved about the sound. Um clearly you dont get out much. They dont have any of the new surround formats. Wheres Dolby Atmos..not to be found here. Hey wheres laser projector...wont find it at this place either. Basically they have nothing new or real at this place. Its a relic a joke. UPDATE the theater already. I was watching Atmos movies 3 years ago or more. Laser projection is fantastic too. The only good thing about the place is they didnt hassle me when I bought wrong ticket for Star Wars just let me go in with what I had paid for online.

This used to be a 5 star cinema experience, but recently the volume at the regular movies has been turned down to almost whisper level..... It really takes you out of the cinematic experience. The movies are supposed to be calibrated at a very specific average volume of 75 decibels as the film directors had intended..... If someone checked this theater would be way below standard. What a shame! If you do go to this theater definitely go to the IMAX. They havent messed up the sound (IMAX probably wont let em)..... The giant screen is really a cinema fans dream. Cant wait to see Prometheus in 3D IMAX!!!!! TO THE MANAGEMENT AT RAVE CINEMAS 53 FIX THE SOUND

A theater full of people who have obviously worked hard to improve how it used to be run, lowered ticket prices a $1 (cheaper than Great Escape across the river by a mile!) and art films every month no one else gets?! Ill pay the $5.00 for a large drink (not $10, like some people have exaggerrated below) if it means I can sit in a clean theater and see my movie in HD on a big screen. Some people will only be happy when everythings free, and then theyll complain theres no one to serve them. Businesses dont run on your just wanting them to exist.

They have the best staff and ever one in the theater is so nice to seat around if there is anyone that is very disturbing then the staff comes in and takes care of it without any one knowing. But the only down point is that they dont have unlimited refills but I do know why they did that for people not to buy one and share with there whole family. But for those who dont share please do bring back the one free refill for a large pop. Thank you and you should go there on Tuesday $5.00 THE BEST DEAL EVER!!!!

Great theater. Watching movies in iMax audi is awesome. Sound system is excellently calibrated that fills action and thrilling sound super sharp and enjoyable. I watch a movie there every weekend and it feels great always. The staff is great and movie ticket kiosk even helps better when there are long queues at box office window. There are lots of people from India in quad cities area. It would be great if the management starts screening bollywood (Indian) movies too (like AMC theater Chicago) :)

Think that its absolutely RIDICULOUS that they didnt honor their normal Tuesday rates just because its our nations birthday, of any days you would think they would honor that. The cost of the movies, snacks, etc is already very expensive and then to not honor rates to loyal customers, pathetic. Movie itself was good once we got thru the 50 gory trailers to watch a comedy. Clearly because you have the monopoly in this location you feel you can just keep jabbing customers. Wont be back

Average, nothing really to complain about but nothing to brag about either To all the people saying the pop and snacks are expensive; no duh, its a movie theater, what do you expect? They have to make some kind of profit. Thats the reason they keep getting bought out, theres no money in the movie theater business anymore. It takes a lot of money for them to buy rights to show the movies and everyone watching stuff on netflix/hulu etc really cuts down on ticket sales.

Pick your own seat is kind of nice, but it really slows down ticket purchases. Of course, there are groups of employees standing around doing nothing in the halls while one person tries to deal with 20-30 people trying to buy tickets. Management, get a clue. . . .5.83 for a small popcorn? Cinemas should not wonder why people dont come to the theater anymore. The companies pricing themselves out of business.

Havent been here in a while but the prices are still high lol. New seating is awesome. I cant ever seem to figure out when movies start because this time, it was listed to start at 7:35, but didnt actually start until about 8:00. Some hallway lights seemed to be burned out and there are a few theaters closed for remodeling but overall a good trip. The employees hate their lives unfortunately and it shows.
