Im sorry but I have to give this a 2 stars... So many reasons behind this for the night we thought was going to be new, different and cool. We first called to see if we can just walk in or have to reserve and they did not have anything for 7 people. Then I called back 15 minutes later and the lady said that they had something at 10:00 Pm for 7 people so we decided to do that one. We did the Phase III it is a new one and hard to get out of from what the lady told me. 1. We get there and no one is in the lobby. (We were told to get there at least 15 min before 10 we got there 20 min before 10) 2. The gentlemen comes out and says can I help you. Me yes we have reserved for a time for 10 pm. 3. He looked at me as if he did not know what we were talking about. He says did you call or come in. I said no we called and we reserved at 10. How many people he asked? I said 7 he said for today? I said did they not notify you that we would be coming in today for a party of 7 for 10 pm. He says yes they did I said okay just making sure because we have been waiting since 6 pm to come and try this out. His next question was which room are you doing? Again when I called I did tell her that we were doing the Phase III he said oh okay. Read this (which were the rules of what you can and cannot do in the room). We read and we were like alright we are ready to start. 4. He says okay are you all paying together? We said no we are paying this way and broke it down. Then he says okay and when we tell him how we are paying he says oh we only accept cards.... What? Really cards no cash, ummm no cash. Are you serious only one of us brought cards and the rest were paying in cash. Says yeah no cash. I am at this point like why didnt the lady not tell me when on the phone I asked if there were anything that we needed to bring or not to bring and she did not say nothing about cash or card. 5. So we are like what is the reason of no cash and he says because we dont have money to give out the correct change and we were like okay so what we if we give you the correct change? He then said hold on and went to ask someone and this other guy came out and then said oh yeah we only take card. We understood that we asked another question and that is the answer we are waiting for and he calls the guy to the back and says come here. Talks to him and says why what happened? How much do they have? How much are they paying? As if we cannot hear them. Then he comes back and just takes the cash.... 6. We go upstairs and unorganized we get in the room and says that we have to watch this video about the scene of the room we are in. They he says of sorry but its not in good condition so this is the best we have. (Really so we are having to basically put our hear to the screen to hear what it is saying he handed up a notepad and pen downstairs and said you are going to need this) Then after watching the little video he says okay time will start now. That is it. Nothing more... 7. So we are doing what we think we are to do and all and yeah we failed but it was a try. We asked him if he could go over everything to see what else we needed. That sucker was hard, I mean challenging but honestly it was too much to even be able to get out of there. I mean he was telling us from this to that and that to this but it was like we were thrown in there with no nothing. I mean $25.00 plus tax per person I would think it would be a lot better, organized and more fun and honestly it felt like that was just money down the drain. Bad experience for my first time ever of trying a Panic Room. Hopefully they can bump it up a notch.

Worst experience ever. They are unorganized and incompetent. I had booked a room for 10 people for September 10 for my birthday celebration but had to change it to 8 people. Instead they changed it to September 8. I even called to make sure when I changed it when I would be getting a refund for changing it to less people and to double check my booking. They call me on the 8th and ask if Im coming to my appt. I told them again that my booking is for the 10th for 8 people. The person I spoke with both times told me they would get it corrected. My group and I show up the 10th and of course we were not on the list. I was frustrated and irritated during but the guy reassured me that they would refund me my money asap and possibly compensate me with a free panic room. I cooled off and figured, mistakes happen as long as they refund my $270. It still has not been refunded and so I called today and their excuse is "my financial manager has 2 jobs and hes probably busy." No excuses, youre running a business so get on top of your business and prioritize or hire someone that can competently be a financial manager.

SO MUCH FUN! I did the zombie room with a party of 8 ppl and we had a blast! I really enjoyed the zombie room was filled with great clues that really had us stumped for a good enough time before we figured it out! Our operator was clear and helpful and I was definitely impressed by how they were able to work with us.. (we were a pretty roudy bunch). Pleasantly surprised by the inside of this location as it was very nice on the inside and was actually a great facility - despite the outside being a little scary (I guess this adds to the "panic" effect LOL). Overall, I had a really fun experience. Super proud to make it out of the room with just 4 minutes remaining! GO TEAM PURPLE HIPPOS!

It wasnt great but it wasnt horrible either. Just okay. Its in a more run down part of town but the inside is very nice. The restroom smells like the mens room of a gas station. We did the school room. It was okay. But I do think the hints need to be given differently. Instead of just saying use this and this. It was more complicated than other escape rooms weve done. This one didnt seem to be laid out as smoothly as usual... it is a few dollars cheaper than the others though. The employees are also very friendly.

My friends and I tried out the Dallas Panic Room for the first time last weekend. For most of us, it was our first time playing any type of real life "escape game" and it was a blast! There were six people in our party, which was a great size as far as room space and keeping everyone involved. We did the hardest one (phase III Human Trials), but we still made it out! However, making wise use of hints and having contributions from the whole team was key. Definitely something I would do again!!
