Cool old theater. Came here for the first time back in 2012 to see Skyfall, and boy was I glad I did. Ticket prices are very cheap considering that they only have 2 screens, but its a very welcome sight because of how expensive movies can be at the big name theaters. Concessions were also very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this theater for those who live in the Merriam Park, Mac-Groveland, or any other nearby neighborhoods in this part of St. Paul.

Neither Mann theater (Grandview or Highland) has handicap accommodations, no elevator to get to the second floor. I particularly like the movie offerings at the Grandview, but I always have to call and make sure the movie I want is on the first floor since there is no elevator to the second, and I cant manage the stairs. The theater doesnt say on its ads whether a movie is on the first floor or the second.

Pros: Seats are comfortable enough, they have great first-run movies, its a small local neighborhood movie house. Cons: The theater is stuffy and little musty. The (womens) bathroom is small, outdated and floor didnt feel clean. The popcorn is pretty bad- the "butter" tastes like oily nothing, you pay $1.50 more for a few shakes of "flavoring", and its way over priced for the quality.

Funny little theater. Seats are a bit uncomfortable. Staff is really helpful. Saw them helping an elderly patron. Brought him his popcorn and soda to his seat. Even called a cab for the guy. The theater is old and not perfect. But has tons of character. Reminds me of going to a movie in a small town. Watched a first run movie on premier night and there were plenty of seats.

Would love to support this neighborhood theatre more but it is suffering from active neglect. Inadequate a/c. Projector bulb went out repeatedly and request for refund was ignored. Teens texting and adults talking.

Very cute, small theater - they show two movies at a time, and usually ones that came out a little longer ago. Walking distance of Macalester and St. Thomas, which is really nice.

Went to this theatre on a Tuesday evening, 7:00 showing. And it was great!! Have no complaints. Mostly older couples in the theatre and the staff was great.

No doubt its a old theater but that kinda adds to the classic cinema appeal. Plus the staff are friendly, great way to spend a weeknight in December .

This theater is a dump. Seats are old and decrepit. The upstairs theater is tiny. If they didnt charge premium prices I wouldnt mind but they do.

Concession stand closes 15 minutes into last showing. Do not be tricked into buying a large for refills, you wont get any during the final showing.

Very clean, friendly people, and good sound/video quality. A local gem, definitely worth supporting along with others like the Riverview.

Yes. The seats are not the best, and the place smells a bit musty but.... New release movies every week , cheap prices, never crowded.

A nice small theater with only 2 screens. The price was good. I like that it has the smaller movies that you dont always get to see.

Wonderful local theater with old-style atmosphere. Not many of these are left! Hands down, best popcorn in the Twin Cities.
