5 stars for the decor. 1 star for the food and service. Attended a wedding here in summer 2015. The place is beautiful. Clean, detailed, immaculate. The service was quick but not too good. I was out of water for a half hour, no one filled it, and no one was attending the bar. The dinner included salad which was fine. Then the entree was pretty bad. There was a vegetable melody that was tasty but a bit over cooked, some of the broccoli was even burnt and the out of season asparagus was flavorless. The mashed potatoes were perfect actually, not too gummy and seasoned well. The meats were a steak medallion and encrusted fish. My steak was, unfortunately, medium well. My wifes was medium rare. My steak had no seasoning what so ever.. on top of being dry from overcooking. The fish had no flavor and was also over cooked. It is the first time I left the meat on the plate. Also, I had gravy on my plate but two others at my table did not. Pretty inconsistent all around.

Buyer Beware! Although the Colony Club is a first-class venue I will tell anyone that is planning an event there to make sure you get everything you want in writing and constantly remind your sales person of these requests. We specifically asked for two items, BOTH were spelled out in our contract and in our floor plan diagram and NEITHER one was done on our wedding night. Nicole the Managing Director said that it was OUR FAULT for not bringing it up with our senior sales manager (which we did numerous times). The event manager even agreed the night of the wedding that she was short staffed and couldn’t do what was requested. So… This became OUR problem, not theirs. You will love the setting and the food but execution to simple request outside of their “standard labor guidelines” don’t happen and then you get called a liar for asking for them.

I attended a wedding there.The place is amazing inside with nice people greeting you when visit. The starter soup wasnt good at all cold and of a sticky consistency. But the main and desert was good. Overall good experience
