I want to explain that there are very few facilities that exist for women to workout in private. Hype is a part of a Muslim community and knows this. Yet, it fails to serve the Muslim women of the community. They fail at providing a quality, clean and respectful place to workout. The womens area is much smaller even though its in high demand. There are only a couple of workout machines available to women. They are put in situations where they have to fight to go on one of the two machines available. Invest in your community, invest in the women in the community. We are paying for this service, not receiving it for free. Do your part. Get more workout machines. I will continue to advise against others joining this gym, and I am so angry at the disrespect my mother has received while going here. The staff is so disrespectful, and the treatment of the women at this facility is a representation of how little this organization values the community at large.

I thought this would be a good local gym! They have many signs up saying WIPE YOUR MACHINE DOWN AFTEE USE, yet many of the patrons men/women leave without doing so! Its very alarming I went in the other day and there were tons of nasty used paper towels laying in the womens area! Yet I watched their cleaning staff standing around laughing joking and gossiping! I wouldnt waste my money or time signing up here! Every weekend they allow the courts to be rented out instead of allowing at least two courts to be free for those who pay monthly like myself! I think its completely unfair that they charge u but half the month they send u letters saying courts are unavailable! Also Ive watched their so called trainers simply be on their phones and not really interact with the person theyre training! Overall pathetic then they trap u into a year membership

Filthy facility, untrained employees. Allowed an untrained teenager to run a gymnastics class for preschoolers in a room with filthy mats and broken electrical outlets. Teenager could not keep order and the kids basically ran around for 30 minutes. At the second class, she had them do static stretches BEFORE warming up, which is a recipe for injuries. She apologized to parents because she was disorganized and couldnt take charge, saying, "Hes supposed to try to get someone else, but..." I just stopped taking my kid and chalked it up as a loss because I do not ever want to deal with the aggressive, abusive "CEO" again after a previous run-in resulted in him shouting at me and making veiled threats. Just stay away.

Initially came in as a guest and was surprised at the way the front desk staff spoke to me. I thought that as an individual considering to start a membership there that I would be spoken to respectfully and encouraged to join Hype. Instead, I was practically interrogated as if I was doing something wrong by the individual in charge of introducing people seeking membership. Horrible and rude service and this was only after one day of trying it out. Definitely not moving forward with any kind of membership at this unclean facility. Thankful to have had this experience as I am not going to waste my money on a membership here.

Bad customer service including the CEO, very un secure place, no one seems to care about customers. In many occasions you can just walk in, without any body asking where you are going, specially to the up stairs facility, any bad person can walk in,. do his thing, and leave, without being noticed. Observing the cracks and holes on dry wall, cleanness of the bathroom and facility, etc.., and poorly maintained equipment tells you a lot about this place and its management. I cancelled my membership because I felt it is not a safe place for my kids.

The only good thing I can think of for this place is that it has 4 basketball courts. Other than that this place is always packed with unsupervised kids running around. The courts are always taken up by events or even practice. Not always basketball, but SOCCER. On a basketball court that doesnt make sense. The staff usually are on their phones and ignore you. You could easily walk in there without a membership. If this place was managed better then it could be good. But so far its not.

It is a nice place in general, looks good especially for the green area around it.. but I never like the customer service they offer. I imagine that in few years this will change since it is still a new place in the area. I joined them right after they opened back in 2012 . But when I became pregnant I quit. When I came back they wanted me to sign up with new contract and follow new regulations. I think that wasnt fair. There should be rules for such circumstances .

They need to keep up with the cleaning. The ladies section is always smelling bad and and the equipment NEVER work! They never restock on the napkins and such rude workers. You guys need to step it up a notch. Also its like the guys section have wayy more equipment and they would fix whatever equipment is broken right away, they dont give a crap about the ladies section AT ALL.

My hype athletics experience was the worst. First off the quality of work ethnic by its employees and volunteers was unsatisfying. Secondly the volunteers were disrespectful rude and unsatisfying. The worst part was the service of Volunteer Norman Butler my ex best friend. Hype took a free swim at the recreational center and turned it into a 6 dollar swim

Love Hype. Been a member and a part of the basketball program for years and its great. Very nice staff and nice facility.They offer all kinds of training, programs and sports for kids and adults. They also have a facility in Wayne with a very nice pool, banquet room, sauna, gym, and of course basketball courts and more. Oh and I cant forget about the good food!

GREAT PLACE ! My son & his friends love this place , Hype offers children of all ages an opportunity to join in community Activities , Hype gives kids and young adults of all skill levels a chance to participate in basket ball leagues - great team building skills that encourage development of team sprits.. Keep up the good work !

This place is complete trash, the members cant even play basketball because all they do is rent out the courts for special events and kids running around the facilatie yelling and screeming without adult supervision. But tony is my boy, though cant wait till my membership is over

Horrible service, they blocked my # from calling the place... I can call ok with no issues from my home phone, but can never get through from my cell phone. After my son is done with his membership, Im done with H. Y. P. E FOR EVER.. big mistake

The prices are insane. VERY EXPENSIVE. The only reason why I would ever want to come to this gym is because its separated women and men. And for that reason they made the prices extremely high. Not fair. I will never come to this gym...

Definitely a great recreational center with affordable membership services that are mainly for profit. An organization who focuses and cares about the future of the youth by providing innovating ideas to better our communitys youth.
