In Terre Haute, this is the place to go for movies! The theater is large and well taken care of. The staff is always helpful, friendly, and they seem to enjoy their jobs. Which is rare for positions like theirs that are so often underpaid, and they are basically treated like servants by the public. The only problem I can find with this theater are the trashy moviegoers who are abusive to the staff, leave their litter and food all over the theater and trash the bathrooms. Guess what, it is not difficult or above anyone to throw away their own garbage. If you go to a packed theater the weekend a major blockbuster sold out movie opens, you are going to encounter issues, mess, and crowds. If these things bother you so much, pick a different time to go see a movie. I came to see Beauty and the Beast on Saturday 3/18/17 and encountered many unpleasant movie goers who acted worse than the children in the theater. By the way, parents, when you walk out and leave your trash behind, you are teaching your kid to be a slob like you. Yes, we should expect top notch service and cleanliness. Especially with the high ticket prices and crazy concessions prices. This corporation probably makes enough to deal with the issues. But the employees dont, and from what I have seen EVERY time I have been there, the staff are working very hard and doing everything possible to care for guests and the theater. Dont blame these people for the trashy stuck up people who cant throw away their drinks or break the Coke machine. The theater cant even fix the machine btw those have to be worked on by someone from the Coke company. Take your bad reviews and stick them somewhere else. Or maybe look in the mirror. I will return to this theater any time, any day! ******************** And to the staff: you guys are great, you did well on a very rough weekend! I have been there and I know customer service is rough. Hope you all get a chance to relax soon!!!!!

As an employee here, I can honestly say that I love working here! I have only worked here for 2 weeks, but before that I had never had a bad experience. Everyone needs to understand that the movie employees have no control over the movie tickets and food prices. that is ALL corp. We know that its expensive, but there is nothing we can do about it. As for the coke machines being broke, they are usually always running, but when they do occasionally break down, we cannot fix them. Coke themselves has to come out and fix them when they have the chance, I know this because its the same way at wendys where i also work. I saw a review about R rated movies, you cannot buy a ticket for anyone besides yourself if you are under the age of 21. and you have to be 17 with a valid ID to purchase one. once youre 21 you can then buy as many R rated tickets as you want and that is the LAW, not the movie rules. lol.. I apologize to everyone who has had bad service. Its not intentional its really not. we are way understaffed right now and are trying to get new people. and everyone has their good and bad days. But it helps us have a positive attitude if the customers have one. :) I hope everyone has an amazing experience at AMC!

I like this theatre alot and as for price i dont worry about prices i goto showplace 12 alot i have gone 4 times or more in one month cause there was alot of movies playing that month. But the only complaint i got is when school starts up they quit having late show times expect for weekends and just cause kids have school during that week doesnt mean you cant still show late movies for us adults.Oh one more thing i would agree the fact there food prices arent worth it like $4.00 for a hot dog like get real ya i said i dont worry about prices but i am smart enough to know whats a good price and what isnt and there food ISNT good on prices.

Not really sure why people are giving this low stars because it is expensive. Not really the staffs fault, now is it? We go to matinee shows and I am more than satisfied with the low price we pay. The staff has always been friendly and professional. We have a Stubs card and it gives us rewards as well as taking off service fees when we order our IMAX tickets off of Fandango. If you think this is expensive try going to Indy or another big city to see a movie!

Our experience was bad before we even entered the theatre. One of your "new" coke machines was out of order leaving long lines at the other. Its absolutely ludicrous to have nobody working that was able to fix it. Prices are so high we shouldnt have these types of problems. Nobody appeared to care about the problem and just pointed to the other with 10 in line. After calling someone they rebooted - big prob should have been something they tried first.

We love the whole movie theater experience but the AMC 12 in TH is WAY over priced. After going to theaters in the greater Detroit area, most of which have recliner seating and offer a bar, we expect to pay more. The one in TH cost the same and the concessions are about the same or more expensive. All the restrooms stalls need serious attention as well. At least they finally got the mixify soda machines.

I am a fan from the 60s TV series and enjoyed the fact that there was no cussing. I felt that although not true to the original in a strict sense, the movie made good use of the humor and character interaction that made the original series great! Oh, did I mention the fabulous eye candy including Hugh Grant?!!!

The place was filthy, popcorn all over the floor. The floor was sticky like fly paper, soda machine had no ice or Coke. The other machine was unplugged. But I probably expect too much, I only paid $50 for my family to watch a movie. The place was packed. But obviously AMC cant afford to keep the place up.

Ive been going here for several years and have had no issues in the past. I went there about a month ago, was in Theater 10, the smell was terrible, like urine as someone else stated, and odor of mold or mildew. I will give this place one more try, otherwise Im going to try Crawfordsville, IN

Great audio and video when you watch a movie in the digital projector rooms, but its pricy (the food is disgustingly so) and the seats are comfortable except if youre looking to snuggle up of hold hands with your special someone. Doing so is extremely uncomfortable here.

Seen "Split" - awesome movie - just wish it didnt cost so much to go to the movies anymore. If the price was more economical, we as a family would go every week. But 4 people admission, plus the food and drink (close to $80) is something we cant afford that often

Usually no wait or fairly lines. Friendly and efficient staff. Plenty of screens. Nice location. Friendly service. 3d movies. Short wait. Employs highly functioning handicapped employees. Downside is that a few fixtures and stall doors need repair in bathroom.
