Great pool, stupid rules. We arrived at the aquatic center about 11.30, followed the signs that said "water park entrance this way" and stood in line about 10 mins, no biggie. Got to the guy at the table, he just looks at me. Doesnt say "can I help you?" "how many" "that will be x dollars" I mean he says nothing! So I hesitantly say "Um 2 kids, 1 adult." He finds his voice "$15." I hand him my visa. He says " If you are paying by card you go to the front, so I ask where is the front, he points me. There were no signs anywhere saying if you have a card, pay at the front first. If you have cash you can pay at the table where mute guy was. So I stand in line another 10 minutes at the "front" pay with my card, lady gives me a piece of paper, I stand in line another 10 mins at the "water park entrance" table. We enter the water park, I am already not impressed. These are the main issues I have with the place. 1. The elaborate entrance procedure, took me 25 minutes to pay and get into the gosh dog place. 2. There are no lockers. Well there are loads of lockers, but the have no locks. So basically unless you carry around your own padlocks, there are no lockers. This means you have to watch your purse like a hawk, or carry it in the pool with you. 3. You cannot take goggles in the pool, so my son who has very sensitive eyes, could not wear his goggles. 4. Your child cannot wear floats of any kind on the slides. If they are wearing a swimsuit with a built in float, they cannot use the slide, if they have the over the head float like my daughter, you have to take it off for them to go down the slide, then put it back on at the bottom. Every time they go down the slide. 5. Every hour or so, the lifeguards blow their whistles authorotativly and EVERYONE, yes all 300 or so people have to get out of the pool, so they can take a break. How ridiculous is that! 6. No hair on the neck. My daugter had her hair in a half pony, some hair was on her neck, I had to tie it back, all the way on top of her head. 7. No t shirts or board shorts. only swimsuits. If you like to put a tshirt over your bikini to protect your modesty, the lifeguards will stop you and make you take it off. 8. No outside drinks. Not even a bottle of water, you have to buy from their concessions stand, which leads me to... 9. Line up at concessions, try to buy pizza, which is on the menu. No pizza on Wednesday. Everything else is there, just no pizza. On wednesdays. Every other day there is pizza, just not on Wednesday WTF!! Okay, so we will buy one of the other meals, which BTW are three times the price of the pizza. Nachos it is then at $2.50. I order everything, comes to $16 or so, hand him my visa...And yes, you guessed it, you have to go to the "front" to pay by visa, order there, they will give you a slip of paper, you come back, stand in line for 20 minutes again, then you get their food. At this point I left Conroe aquatic center, and I will NEVER be going back. The actual pool is great, its clean, its fun. But the rules, and the convoluted stuff, just to do anything is too much to have a good time.

the life guards are constantly blowing the whistle for dumb reasons the kids can only wear the life coats in certain areas which i found this dumb. cause if kid runs off to a deeper end he or she will have it on they told.my inlaw he my nephew couldnt where it on the kiddie side which is where the bucket of water is that he couldbonly wear it in the deeper end they blew their whistle at lady for going down a slide she wasnt suppose to go on. she had her grand kids with her maybe the age of 4or 5 they told her she wasnt allowed on tht slide it was just really annoying i had swimming trunks on and one of the.life gaurds told me i couldnt get in i had a tanktop shirt and she said spagetti straps werent allowed my shirt isnt even cotton so i didnt even get to enjoy the day i went im 11weeks pregnant i was hot and justbwanted to enjoy the day with my daughter and nephew instead i just sat on the side with only my feet in because they just kept watching me like a hawk ..... and i wasnt going to.ruin my nephew and daughters fun because of these people saying anything to me so i just didnt make a big deal .. i dislike how the peoples additude towards the publics is but i do like the things the pool has .

Have cash to get in. They do not take a card at the main entrance. You have to go in the office pay, and then go back to main entrance. So whole check in if you dont have cash is around 25 minutes. Your child cant wear floaties. It has to be a life vest or a floatie like a life vest. I found thus utterly ridiculous. All I had were regular floaties so they said I had to take them off of my 3 year old. So what is safer? Regular floaties are no floaties! Then, I had a tank top on and they said I couldnt swim with cloth on because the filter cant handle cotton particles from shirts. I told them tough and that I wasnt taking it off. I argued with two of the teenage life guards for ten minutes and I finally won. Overall, my kids had a good time. Unfortunately there are so many rules that the lifeguards are constantly blowing a whistle at you. I will only go back if my kids want to.

I came to the park today thinking that it was going to be a fun experience. It was not all of the staff were really polite. The only problems that I have are that they make to wait back in the line if you leave the park when they are at capacity even when you already paid!! Also when I went to ask for a supervisor he couldnt even understand what I was saying because hes deaf! Why would they hire a deaf person to be a supervisor for a bunch of workers who are kids. If you ask me thats really unsafe. At least get someone who can understand the customers. Im never coming back ever again until the city of conroe makes better decisions for their water park!

Worst place I have been to in the last couple of years once at capacity I unknowingly went to my vehicle to get my son a bottle then was told by the manager that I would have to wait in line to reenter the facility Ive been out here for 1 1/2 hours now and it just started raining so next time I assure you I will go to schliterbahn or wet n wild its definitely true in this case you get what you pay for Id rather pay a little more and not have to deal with time consuming BS as I have had to do here today

Fun for the whole family! 7$ a day per person, so instead of paying for a days worth, we just buy a month membership for the family which is only $50! Tables with umbrellas, lap swim covered pool for adults and its cold! Diving board cannonballs, waterslides are so refreshing, sit in the playland pool and wait for the bucket to spill! And the refreshments are awesome with shaved ice and pizza! Perfect Summer Fun with just a short drive home :)
