I took my kids last year almost everyday and it was great and so much fun for them. I went yesterday for the first time this summer and I was in awe at the condition of this place. It has deteriorated exponentially. The water smells horrible, Im almost horrified at the thought that the water the gets recycled through the park has all sorts of feces and urine. I couldnt stand the smell of the water! To go as far as to imagine that the water would get ingested by all those people (it does get dumped on their head and some, even microscopical, amounts get ingested) eww Im so grossed out. I stood by the drain for a few minutes and watched foamy disgusting water go down the drain, while everyone is splashing around in it, some even laying in it, I could only focus on keeping my kids away from the foamy spit like particles that would collect on the corners of the drain. The bathrooms are grotesque! Im throwing up in my mouth explaining this right now. I didnt stay long, I took my kids, brought them home and showered them immediately. I will not be going there again unless I know for sure that the water is clean. This place needs some major renovations. I will be reaching out to the health department to check them out for sure. This place is disgusting. I dont know what happened from just a year ago. It was my go to spot for the kids. Ill be looking for another spot.

This place has a perfect location and it really is fun for kids. However, the owners or management company must be inconsiderate, lax, and lazy. This is a popular splash park with no risk of losing business. It wouldnt be hard to make sure the facilities were updated and well maintained. Small things matter when you are encouraging customers to have a good time with their children. Unfortunately the bathrooms are filthy - when we visited the "showers" had curtains that were dark with mold and grime. Why have showers if you keep them in that state? The shaded areas are minimal, so families have to crowd beneath them or scramble for one of the few umbrellas that are there. How difficult would it be to put up some structured shading, or provide an adequate amount of umbrellas? There were staff members cleaning up while we visited, but they pretty much made a minimal effort. It really is a shame - whoever runs this place lacks the foresight to dedicate thought and energy toward maintaining a pristine splash park on a popular boardwalk. Theyll never lose customers because kids are easy to please and its right on the beach, but this place could be so much better.

My 14 month old was interested for about 45 minutes, but it was 14 bucks for the two of us to get in. The place was so dirty I could barely stand it. Literally garbage and filth are strewn around the splash area. There is NO changing table. Lots of things were broken, but the worst is how absolutely 100 percent disgusting the bathroom was. Trash everywhere smelly, toilets filthy, NO SOAP!! So gross. Look at the pictures on yelp! When I went to tell the girl working who was just sitting on her ass, she literally just turned away from me without saying a word. Listen, I get that your boring job sucks, but if the management cant be bothered to do anything about the sub-truck-stop condition of your facilities, I dont know why anyone would bother to come here.

We are local and attend the Asbury Spray Park throughout the summers. This spray park is in need of major renovations and update. There are parts of the ground that are buckling and broken up.. dangerous trip hazard for children who love to run. There are sprinklers and equipment that are broken and not working. My 2-year-old had a lot of fun; my 5-year-old was very bored. There are plenty spray parks within Monmouth County that are new or recently renovated and worth the drive. The positive part is that we can enjoy the boardwalk, eat lunch at Pops, and have ice cream all in one area.

The splash park was well kept and clean. It was spacious as well so lots of people could be there and it still doesnt feel too crowded. My only suggestion would be to make a little area for younger babies. My son is only 11 months and although he liked the water, most of the fountains were too big for him or the water pressure was a little too much. For 18+ months this park is perfect.

What an awesome thing to have on the Beach! We spent the entire day here. The kids got to play while I could just tan and enjoy watching them having a blast! It was clean and the staff were awesome! We bought a day pass and went from here to the beach playground and back all day! Make sure you check out Groupon they usually have a family package entry for half the price!

“Nice splash park for little ones” THe place is clean, has lounge chairs for the parents. Not too big. There are also some umbrellas to protect you from the sun. Reasonably priced. Have to get there early to guarantee a lounge chair. Nephews had a great time. Spent about 2 hours here. Park is right on the boardwalk. Food venues all around.

Amazing little place on the Asbury Park Boardwalk. Cant beat the prices for something that is all day where you can go back and forth! Kids loved it and everyone seemed to have a good time. Place was very clean and staff was super friendly. Weekends are a bit busy

Its really small. But right on the beach. Its for little kids. I would recommend this place. Even if you just want to spend time on the beach, you can use the facilities here like for shower, changing and restrooms.

Great for all ages! Parking is tough. Bring your own lounge chairs and umbrellas because they are scarce.
