I am currently visiting the Odyssey Fun World here in Tinley Park, IL. Today they have a special for unlimited 4 hours Explore Package costing $29.99 TOTAL. I have always been a fan of Odyssey Fun World to say the least I think its the best arcade and amusement park for all ages in Illinois besides GameWorks, Dave & Busters, etc. I even had my 3rd birthday party in this same arcade here in Tinley Park. Today I was disappointed. I came in literally 30 minutes ago. Hopped on 1 ride with a wristband no card perfectly. Then I wanted to get on another and I couldnt without my card. I came back to the register and told them I lost my card. I paid cash and let them throw the receipt away (my fault I see). Later on Miranda the GM, Kevin GM and Amy the cashier said that they could not replace my card without a receipt, I repeated the receipt must be in the trash below. Miranda with an attitude repeated the same thing to me three times without listening to me. Then rudely snarled and said the business was family owned after I said I will write a review to corporate. I walked away and came across another GM walking around. I explained to him my situation and he easily gave me my card back to do the attractions instead of the games. I greatly thanked him but he himself said, thats the policy and he didnt know why I got on the first ride without the card. All in all. They need to work on their employee and general manager training. Highly rude. Hate to say goodbye to a long time favorite but I will not be back!

This was my favorite place when I was a kid. My mom would take me and my brother once a week and had parties here all the time. The customer service was wonderful. The place was clean and all the games worked..NOW its a heartbreak. The customer service is F****D UP!! Im buying my kids advanture passes and the asian girl at the counter asked me " how old is it?" I was pissed, offended and wanted to leave right there and then. I got over it but when I got to the advanture check in there was no staff at the counter I even waited and looked around. Other people and their kids was just walking in with no wristbands and that kinda pissed me off again because I paid to get in but nobody was even there to check. Literally anyone could walk in off the streets and walk right in the jungle gym area without anyone even knowing. When we got inside the advanture area everything was nasty and falling apart. It looked like it havent been worked on since I was a kid! It was too unsafe! Too many holes in the nets and some of the steppings blocks was missing it was terrible! So Im like screw it lets just play some games. But when we get upstairs like 80% of the games was out of order and the ones that did work was all glitchy. So we left the kids was sad but I saved the day with ice cream ;-) idk if the owner really read the comments or really care but if you do PLEASE do something about this place!

My husband and 2 kids have been to Odyssey many times in the past and it was just ok. This time it was so disgusting I had to leave. I can deal with a little bit of dirt, but this was over the top. In the food area, everywhere I walked my shoes were sticking to the floor. The jungle gym/ball pit, I dont even have words to describe. Even my kids were disgusted by it. We spoke with a manager, who could care less. The manager actually stated that it was a health hazard for us wearing shoes in the jungle gym, so we had to buy socks. Im all for wearing socks and not shoes where kids are running around, but the whole place is a health hazard. What a joke!!! If they think that taking off shoes is going to keep that place clean they are crazy. By the way, I threw all of our socks in the garbage. They were so gross, I wouldnt even let the kids touch them. It was not crowded at all, which now I know why. This place is extremely expensive, which we dont care spending our money, but make sure that the place is at least clean. On a final note, went to the bathroom and immediatley walked out. Went to a gas station instead.

1. DIRTY. Floors were sticky and visually dirty in party room. Equipment in the Exploration Adventure was just disgusting with dirty smears of I dont know what all over the place. They obviously DO NOT mop here or wipe down anything. 2. BROKEN GAMES. Most of the games kids put tokens in to play either didnt work and had signs that said so or just took the kids money and didnt work. 3. UN-HELPFUL STAFF. Our party server wasnt too bad but when I couldnt find her I was on my own. The place is "run" by teens. These were the three major issues that would prevent me from ever going to this place again for a party or any other reason. If these are not enough for you to not go, PLEASE keep in mind if you have younger ones like me, (7-8 yr old) take them early. As it gets later the kids coming in get older and twice, two older girls tried to steal my sons game reward tickets from him. We finally got so disgusted, we just left without even cashing the tickets in.

The customer service here is by far the WORST Ive experienced. First, I bought 2 of the outdoor play passes and within 10 minutes of us getting there it started to rain and they refused to give is a refund. Then, a good portion of the games dont even work and they still take your money. I went to customer service 3 times to tell them and finally after the 3rd time I got my dollar or whatever back. Finally, my daughter was right at the line for being too tall to go in the tunnels and even though there werent any other kids in the tunnels they still wouldnt let us in. If you want to take the kids somewhere to play go somewhere else. You are even better off going to the mcdonalds play land and saving your money.

I was hoping to bring my kids out for a good time, but this was not what I had expected. So many of the games were out of order. Plus, so many of the non-working games didnt have a sign, so they just kept your tokens! My boyfriend hit the jackpot on the monopoly game and won 1395 tickets, but the machine only spit out 400 and some change. I went to get a worker who came and kind of implied that we were either cheating or looking for free tickets. We spent $140 and left feeling like we should have just gone to Chuck E. Cheese! Oh, the prizes for the winning tickets are not good. For a $5 basketball, you need 2000 tickets, for 1 Jolly Rancher candy, you need 30 tickets!

The reason for only 4 stars is due to lack of maintnance (the kids area has or had a train that no longer runs, fenicing needs new boards and paint and other areas of this place needs some TLC as well.. Other than that its a GREAT place with lots to do! I highly recommend the EXTREME wrist band you cant go wrong with the price..which includes outdoor gokarts, bumper boats, mini golf, jump and fun for kids with plenty of indoor attractions as well including a few more rides, laser tag, kids center with mazes/tunnels and more. Lots of games as well. From my expiriance the staff is pretty laid back and are respectful people. 2nd time here and would come here again!
