Beautiful, well maintained park. Theres a trail where you can go walking, running, or biking. They even have an exercise path you can follow along with signs telling which exercise to try at that location. The marina in the very back of the park has a boardwalk, which is very peaceful to walk, or you can even do some yoga, since its pretty quiet and relaxing there. The public pool has awesome slides. Its $8/adult and $6/kid for the day if you are a Nassau County resident. Non-residents pay about $20 more. Theres a miniature golf course (I think this is seasonal), newly renovated baseball fields, and a few playgrounds for the kids. Always a good time!

Beautiful park by the bay, nice bike trails, green grass. Pools are nice,but the fee to use them are a little expensive if you are not Nassau resident, 25$ adult 20$child 10$ parking. But it is a nice facilty with lockers, showers and bathrooms. 2 swimming pools, 1 diving pool, 1 kid pool with water playground and 1 pool with large slides. You can definitely spend a whole day here, lots to do. Had alot of fun with the family.

I live in East Meadow and first time visited this park. I am so happy I found it . Its right on the water. They have a beautiful swimming pool area that has large water slides and kiddy shower area, diving area and swimming area. Pool is right next to the water as well. They have other things like kids golfing but I did not go there. people were fishing from the pier as well. There is also two mile walk way for people.

This is a great location to have a party for a large or a small group. However I intensely dislike that you are only able to use 1 vendor approved by Nassau County for blow up bouncy houses and obstacle courses. The owner is very rude and charges ridiculous prices because he can. We went without the blow up this year....the kids still had a fantastic time but it should not have come to that.

Large complex, multiple pools for people of all ages/abilities including a great sprinkler park for the little ones and large water slides for the bigger ones. Standard concession on premises. Lots of lounge chairs, although they can be in short supply depending on time of day. Weekends typically busy, but much quieter mid-week with usually a few day camps in attendance.

Very nice park on the water. Large playground for kids. Cute second playground, smaller than main one, had pirate ship for kids to play on. Exercise trail through park. Dock slip for boats. Large swimming pools with slide, expensive if you dont have leisure pass. Fenced in doggy park.

UPDATED 06/22/2017, everything I mentioned in my previous review has been updated. The baseball fields are updated. theres now 3 fields 2 for softball. A mini golf course and the playgrounds have been updated. Very surprised looks beautiful now, going to come here alot more now

Perfect for the family. Playgrounds are made for different age level. Great for biking, walking, jogging, running, playing field for baseball, soccer, football etc,. It has an archery field, pic nice tables and grills. In general it is the place to be for a family fun.

Its fun how you can go on a nice walk or go fishing! you can go on a date and have a picnic or even get some exercise and go on a nice run! you can go swimming in the pool or there are some camps there that you can go too! great place

Beautiful, relatively unknown park just north of Jones Beach. Pretty marina, and beautiful walking paths through the park and near the boardwalk. Quiet, serene and well equipped park facilities. Clean and pretty place

Quiet park with easy access by the water. Lots of picnic tables and places to play or relax. They installed a new mini-golf course at the entrance, and the park has a pool, marina, and baseball fields as well.

Its Wantagh park, you know what it is if you live around here and if you dont live around here youll never go in it. Mini golf was a nice addition but as expected its a meh mini golf course.

Ive attended private BBQs here and the events always went well. There is ample space for everyone to do what they want. Theres also a boat ramp and a pool & water park in the back.
