My visit to Regal has ruined my evening. Never have I ever felt like a second class citizen. My sister and I arrived to the theater at 10:45 PM to watch "What Now." Everything was going fine until I decided to get some food at the concession stand because I felt famished. I ordered the corn dog nuggets. As I completed my order and waited for my corn dogs, there were two people in front of me that order a burger and chicken tenders. They received their order 10 minutes later. Im thinking, finally Im next. Then THREE orders AFTER me received their hot meals and Im still waiting. Now 20 minutes has passed and I have yet to receive my order. No one spoke to me, the manager (Tiffany) passed by me THREE times and did not approach me to at least apologize for the delay. She just looked at me and went back to talk to the employees. After 25 minutes I became frustrated. One of the employees finally came to me and asked me what did I order, I told her my order and she went to the back. Another employee came to give the next person after me her food. At this point I approached the employee and inquired about my food. He apologized for the wait and said there was a misunderstanding and that he would get my food in two minutes. As Im speaking to him, the Manager (Tiffany) overhears our conversation. Instead of her, as the manager, coming to me to apologize about the wait she takes the employee to the back and gave him a scolding for being honest to me about the cause of the delay. By this time, I had it, I told one of the cashiers to give me a refund, he gets Tiffany and without a word nor eye contact she opens the register and hands me my money right when my corn dogs were coming out. I took my money and went into theatre where my sister was waiting for me. By then 25 minutes’ past and I was very upset about how a manager handled the entire situation, with no customer service or an ounce of concern. We got up and went to the customer service desk to retrieve a complete and full refund. The manager at customer service desk had just as much customer service as Tiffany. We told him about our situation, then I turned to my sister to discuss the situation and the manager says to me "dont get mad at me Im getting you your refund," with an attitude. We handed him our receipts and when he came back from the register I put my hands out so he can hand me my change, instead, he placed the money on the desk and threw the loose change on top. Im highly disgusted at the way I was treated. Im coming to spend MY money; I shouldnt be treated like this. Its very disturbing to me at this day and age you have the MANAGERS lacking professionalism instead of the employees behaving in that manner. The managers’ behavior was completely unacceptable.

*UPDATE* NO LONGER GOING TO REGAL. WENT TO THE 145 SHOWING OF BABY DRIVER WITH MY 9 YEAR, 2 YEAR OLD AND MY AUNT. THE P.O.S THEATER MANAGER SAT 4 SEATS DOWN FROM ME FOR 45 MINUTES EATING AND DRINKING AND SAID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. MY DAUGHTER MADE TWO SOUNDS (SHES A VERY GOOD TODDLER) AND SUDDENLY A YOUNG ATTENDANT TELLS US TO LEAVE BECAUSE OF POLICY. THEN THE MANAGER REITERATES WHAT THE BOY SAID FROM HIS SEAT THEN GETS UP AND COMES ALMOST IN MY FACE INTRODUCING HIMSELF AS THE HEAD OF THE THEATER!!!! HE SAT THERE THE WHOLE TIME AND SAID NOTHING!!!! THE PERSON THAT SCANNED OUR TICKETS SAID NOTHING!!!! HOW INCONSIDERATE COULD YOU BE?? LAST TIME I CAME TO AN R RATED MOVIE, THEY SAID WE COULD COME BEFORE 6.... APPARENTLY THAT WASNT TRUE. IM IRATE BECAUSE HIS IGNORANT A** SAT THERE AND WAITED TILL THE MOVIE GOT NICE AND GOOD TO CALL SOMEONE IN. OH AND THE KICKER WAS THAT THERE WERE ONLY 4 OTHER PEOPLE IN THE THEATER. WE DIDNT BOTHER ANYONE. JUST WANTED TO ENJOY MY DAY OFF. SOME PEOPLE DONT HAVE SITTERS YOU KNOW!!!!!! *UPDATE* uping my stars to 4 due to the renovations that have been made. Was invited to see Trolls mid-day with my kids and I was extremely impressed with the room and reclining seats. My daughter slept on my lap, quietly and comfortably, through almost the whole movie. ---------------- No longer family friendly. Went mid day to see a rated R movie and I was not allowed in because I had my 13 month old daughter with us. Had my son not been 8, he wouldve not been let in with us either. The site does not notify you about these changes!!! I grew up going to this theater and now I officially hate it. No one should dictate what I let my children see and it isnt fair that I cant sit with my family and watch a movie.

Used to be 5 star, but recently they put in these godawful recliners with hard wooden armrests, and its really uncomfortable to sit there and watch a movie now. Im tall and the recliners lack support in the crucial parts of my neck and back that need it. They also feel really form-fitting so I cant sit at an angle to try to get more comfortable, like I could with the old seats. The armrest feels like it traps you in your seat, and it doesnt seem like theres any way to put it down, so you cant cuddle up with your date anymore - you just get a sharp jab in the ribs when you try. Its awful. The quality of the screens themselves is still superior to others nearby, but you have to be more careful about getting there early now because you have assigned seating like a friggin concert, and people sit there forever ahead of you in line trying to figure out what the hell is going on, why they have to select their seats now, and how to read the seating chart, and then if you were just about on time for your movie, well, now, youre late, surprise. Assigned seating could only possibly be a good idea on premiere nights when people are lined up all around the building, like the first showing of the last Harry Potter movie or something. You dont need it when youre grabbing matinee on a weekday and theres like 5 other people in the theater with you. Theyre obviously using some sort of new marketing model that was designed by clueless people who dont know what the common people actually like - its happening everywhere else, why not in the movie theater? Id rather boycott this theatre chain and use a different one, but theres not much to choose from around here.

My brother, whom does not make much money, offered to treat me to the movies a month ago. Since I always go to, Regal Theaters (Royal Palm Beach); we found the movie that we wanted to see online... found our time and set out to the movies. We get there and turns out the movie was in a, "more advanced," theater and the tickets were almost double the cost!!!!! Online NEVER stated that the movie was going to be in a, "more advanced," theater or that it would cost almost double!!! (And we went to a daytime show). I felt bad for my brother, he didnt plan on spending that much money... I offered to pay some, but my brother insisted. This theater should have told us, ON THE COMPUTER, when looking up shows that this show would COST A BUNCH MORE MONEY. It did not post the cost difference!! Since this has happened, I have been going to the theater in Palm Beach Gardens, downtown!!! ALSO, I MUST ADD. I AM A HANDICAP DRIVER, AND I HOLD A PARKING PERMIT. THIS THEATER DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH DISABLED PERSONS PARKING SPOTS!!!! ANOTHER TIME I WAS AT THIS THEATER, I PARKED IN A 1/2 SPOT, BECAUSE I COULDNT WALK MUCH FURTHER. (THEY HAVE HANDICAP PARKING IN THE PARKING ROWS THAT ARE AT THE BACK OF THE BUILDING (WHAT GOOD IS THAT???)) THEY ONLY PLACE THEM BACK THERE IN ATTEMPT TO FOLLOW STATE OF FLORIDA LAW THAT THERE MUST BE A 2% AMOUNT OF DISABLED PARKING FOR ALL OF THEIR PARKING PLACES.... THE LAW DOES NOT HOWEVER, TELL THEM THEY MUST BE CLOSE TO THE BUILDING!!! SO REGAL OF ROYAL PALM BEACH, ONLY ALLOWS 2 HANDICAP PARKING SPACES FOR EACH ROW OF CARS!!! THIS IS NOT FAIR TO THE DISABLED!!!! (THAT INCLUDES ME), SO THAT IS THE REASON FOR THIS ADD ON TO MY REVIEW
