Nice theaters. Need better management and customer service in my opinion. Im a Stubs Premier member and Im rarely asked for my phone number to get rewards. Sometimes Im asked for my card. Tried several times to get one bit am always told I just need my phone number. Standing in Stubs member only lines never gets me anything. And Im never advised at concessions what upgrades I get gor being a member. And yes, I pay for the membership. Saw Wonder Woman recently and there was a single ticket agent. Single line out the door at 4pm. We tried the kiosk to get our ticktets. Which was great except it didnt take my phone number for stubs rewards. Then when we walked past the ticket counter the 60 year old man selling tickets yelled at us for not giving him our tickets. I thought they had other staff members behind the ticket sales counter that actually took our tickets. Guess not. Every time we go to this AMC something unpleasant happens. But the theaters are nice.

Comfortable and seating area is generally pretty clean. As a parent I like that they have the booster seats for little kids to help hold the seats down. Admission is actually much more reasonable than a few years ago. Food is WAY over priced for the quality you receive. Obvious where they are making the money (and then some) from reducing ticket prices and slashing staff. Popcorn is ok but you have to dispense something that resembles butter on top yourself after they hand you a full bag. After the first few greasy handfuls it is the plainest and driest popcorn around. In the past they would at least add something that actually tasted like real butter after they added each scoop. Drinks you now get to serve yourself after buying a very expensive cup. The Coke Freestyle machines never taste quite right as the carbonation mixture seems to be a bit off.

My wife and I had a terrible experience tonight with valid Group On coupons. The Dubuque AMC Theatre would not accept our coupons because of a system issue with their system and that of the coupon company stating that the movie theatre would be losing money on the deal. So instead, my wife and I had to essentially pay double to go to the movies: one payment to the Group On and another to AMC (if we didnt have a babysitter that night, we would have left). The participating movie theatre locator website showed that Dubuque participated in the program. Apparently not. Very disappointed in the customer service and the support of the programs in which this theatre participated in.

People keep saying "overpriced." I understand theater prices are high but here is my story. My wife and I get off work and want to catch a movie. The schedule is tight so we order the chicken fingers combo each. There is a big sign for chicken fingers, $11 bucks (or something). Our total bill for two sets of fried chicken fingers, some curly fries and fountain drinks, with a popcorn? Almost 60 bucks. The $11 price is the chicken alone. Thats overpriced. I could order steak at an expensive restaurant at those prices. Will I still see movies there? Yes. Will I order anything? Never again.

I appreciate that this theater is always clean and most of the staff is friendly and courtesy!! I gave 3 stars because the concessions are over priced and the employees that work this area always seem very distant and rude. At my last visit the gentleman didnt ask for my card...which is kind of my fault as well, but once I realized and walked back to see if we could apply the $38 purchase to my Stub card he was really rude and refused to do anything about it. To me that was horrible customer service, especially considering the transaction had just taken place.

We enjoy the excellence of visual experience but the audio from previews through feature is about 10-20 db louder than necessary. And the auditoriums are always too cold for comfort. On a cold winter night if we hadnt already been dressed in layers we would have shuddered through the entire show. Common sense should prevail. It doesnt at Dubuque AMC.

The theaters are good for movies but there is NO way a family can go here and afford it. A family of four can never get out of there without spending close to 100 if you order food....thats almost like having your total Xmas fund used up in 2 hours of movie time....yikes. We only go once a year and NEVER order food.

Theyre always super friendly staff and compared to where I used to live, the prices of movies in Dubuque are way cheaper. I dont mind the cost of the concessions either. And plus this is one of the first theaters Ive been to that have a membership program for cheap. I love being a stubs member. You save alot of money.

Nice, clean, enjoyable place. Employees are always friendly. Would give more stars but showtime are awful. Hardly ever see any movie times before 1, especially on week days. Would be nice to have options before or around noon for young children or even for parents wanting to see a movie while kids are in school.

Very nice, comfortable theater. Seats are comfortable, bathrooms are large and clean. Concession stand clean and popcorn is plentiful. Lots of parking; easily visible off of NW Arterial. Employees have always been very nice and accomodating. Although we have a theater closer, this is our preferred theater.

LOVE AMC Theater, HATE mindframe, Their prices are expensive for food and drinks but other than that its amazing. Everybody is so happy to be there and their customer service is great! I go to AMC at least 10 times a year to see movies and be greeted with the utmost respect someone could have.

You will get the best theater experience in town here but dont expect anyone to seem like they care about you except this one girl that works there shes cool her name is Courtney or something but yeah change the management and most of the staff and youll see that extra star

If you like chain theaters, this one meets all the needs. Stadium seating, Freestyle soda machines, interesting decor since it began as a Star Cinema before AMC bought it. Matinee prices are cheap. Some shows in 3D. Devices for blind and hard of hearing are available.

They kicked me out for literally nothing everything sucked they dot let you get with girls there either still doesnt stop be but not my point it sucked they kicked us out and yelled at us voause some grumpy grandpa was trying yo watch beauty in the beast sucked!

Not bad on actual movie part, but popcorn and pop and candy is way too expensive! I like Mindframe better if you want cheaper prices for good flavor and the movie part about Mindframe is good, but not as good as AMC. Overall I like Mindframe better!

Best theatre in the area and better than most Ive been to. It would be nice to have access to an IMAX sized screen but all of theirs are consistently the same size so the viewers dont have to feel like they are getting snuffed by the smaller setup.

Great theater that I have visited on multiple occasions. Comfortable seats, good sound, comfortable place all in all. I personally have not sampled any of their concessions or drinks from their new bar.
