I live in Nocatee and have worked previously at the waterpark itself as a lifeguard for two years and honestly I thought the park itself has always been really nice until I started working there. The management is awful under Eric Sanders. They have started hiring all new guards under the age of 15 which is unsafe to me because young teens being required to enforce pool safety rules and being held responsible for the safety of young children and even adults is unheard of. This is the only facility I have seen that actually has this many young guards. And needless to say the training for being a lifeguard is serious. Why would we want a 14 year old guard putting an AED on someone, if that is they can even get the victim to shore safetly. Besides the young guards management is also very sexist. This past year they have had all male supervisors and head guards. Not a single female was a head guard or supervisor. Since I was a guard and I know what the lifeguards do. There have been many reports of guards falling asleep on stand or on their phones texting. And when some lifeguards are on stand below the slides and have to catch the kids coming off of the slide they miss them and the children always go under its ridiculous. But besides the poor management and lifeguard staff the pool itself is nice just make sure you dont count on the lifeguards or your safety because 90% of the time theyre either no paying attention or just dont care.

My boys had a blast. Its great cause one is 13 and the other is 3 so they both have different options of swimming. We went on an off day so we had the place to ourselves, cant imagine id love it when its super crowded. Just not my thing. I think there is a snack bar there during season.m not sure, and i dont believe there is alcohol if someone was looking to drink. Not sure though. Lots of rules of what can go into the park, and what types of life preserves ate acceptable for the little ones. Wish i had my own water park in my back yard where we could hang and grill :)

Resident of Clay County FL. Looking for a fun, inexpensive place to take my toddler, and two teens for a splash fun Sunday. Nocatee water park seemed to fit the bill perfectly! Then found out unless you have upper class friends with min mansions, and $3,000 annual fees youre not getting in. Not open to the public. Not even an option. My father is currently working in Nocatee building on the expansion, and we cant aquire a pass for our family for a one day trip for our kids.

The actual water park is very nice but the staff(lifeguards) are very poorly trained and the aquatic super visor does not do a good job as far as making sure lifeguards can do their job correctly. I have seen guards asleep, texting, etc while on the job. Its sad because just 3 years ago I knew I could trust the competency of the lifeguards but it seems as though every year it gets worse. ( I believe with new management) .

One of the key amenities and reasons why we chose Nocatee over other places to live. This wonderfully designed community water park has 2 water slides, special pools and areas for the little ones, a zip line, concessions and eating area, a cabana, and even a lazy river.

My kids absolutely love this place it is so convenient to have right by our house. Having small children the lifeguards that roam around and are constantly watching the children is an added benefit!
