Staff were polite, professional, and attentive throughout the game. Game room was clean but super cold. We did the airplane Hostage which required us to continuously figure out the next set of 4-5 numbers or letters of locks to get to the final keypad code. We did not break out. We had to continuously ask for clues. You can have an unlimited number. There appeared to be no logic that connected one stage of figuring out the numbers to the next. Therefore, it really felt like searching for a needle in a haystack the entire game. We walked out before the time was up (1 minute early) out of frustration and lack of logic. We even discussed the game afterward trying to figure out if we missed these connections, and still no reasonable logic. Be aware that if you do not book this room for 6 people, you may be in there with strangers or doing it with only your party. Ended up feeling like this was a disappointment and waste of money!

1st time, so we werent sure what to expect. I had seen commercials for them & it sounded interesting, but it was my son who was begging to go for his 12th birthday. We did the kidnapping; 3 adults, 3 twelve y/os. Every person was able to make a major contribution to our escape, which we did with :40 left on the clock. Great for people who are good at puzzles, riddles, etc. Also an EXCELLENT team building exercise. We all had a blast & definitely plan on returning to try another escape.

What a wonderful time we had! I surprised my daughter on her 30th birthday with the Kidnapping Breakout Room. There were 7 of us in my family aged 14, 21, 23, 25, 30, 39 and myself 59. We had a blast trying to figure out all the clues. Unfortunately we didnt "break out" but that just made us want to come back and try again. This is for all ages, young and old. Great fun for families or friends. We will definitely be doing this again in the future. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

We had a blast at Breakout Jacksonville celebrating our 16 year old sons birthday. We broke out of the museum heist room with about five minutes to spare. It was interesting watching our kids and their friends work together to solve the game. Many personalities and just as many ideas on what to do!!! They had so much fun that night and insisted we take our out of town family there yesterday. This time, we were in the kidnapping room. Just as must fun!

We chose the Island Escape room for our 8 family member group which ranged in age from 13 to 79. Only one of us had previous escape room experience. With just about 3 minutes to spare we were able to solve our clues and escape (with three hints during the game from our monitor)! Everyone had a great time and chatted about the experience for the rest of the evening. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the casino adventure and were surprised when told that one part of the puzzle we had solved no one had done without help. We did receive one clue for the whole thing. Finished with 13:47 remaining. Would definitely do it again. Thanks,great fun. We were on vacation and found this to be a highlight. The Yarmouth, Nova Scotia ,Canada gang of 8.

We had a great time. It made 4 very intelligent people feel very stupid though. I wont lie, its hard. It probably wouldnt have seemed so difficult if you were only partnered with your group but adding strangers to the mix throws you off balance. I didnt like that part. I would actually pay extra to not have strangers paired up with my group just to fill a room.

how fun.. 4 of us did the kid nap scenario.. how fun.. usually its a rare occasion i get to handcuff my wife and blind fold her :P we managed to escape in 53 minutes with only a couple hints and a couple gentle pushes in the right direction. pretty entertaining and we really enjoyed our host Tabitha!! definitely will do it again when weer in town.

Did this with friends on an afternoon while visiting Jacksonville. Airplane hostage. Good overall quality. I have done rooms in Washington dc where there are a few more high tech things that occur (lasers, closing of circuits) but this had a nice build with good quality props etc. Locks are a mainstay but also good use of hd screens and room space.

With some friends, we celebrated my sons 15th bday. We had a great time and they made us feel comfortable with the set up and orienting us with rules and precautions. Our group worked well together and were able to get out of the kidnapping room. Challenging clues and interesting distractions. Well worth it and will do another with other friends!

I was hesitant about buying tickets to Breakout but that is what my wife wanted to do for her birthday. Oh my GOD!! I would have paid double the cost! It was so much fun!! Every element of the Kidnapping game was so well thought out and put together! It will make you think every step of the way. I will ABSOLUTELY be back for another game!!

Do not come here. They do not tell you when signing up that you will be put in a room with other people that you do not know. Its a team building event that you want to do with family not random strangers. Dont waste your time and money. Go to the other places that allow you to be in a room with just your family.

So much fun! The Game Masters were very fun as well, and made it even more interesting. We did book a private event, since there were only 4 of us, so we wouldnt get placed with people we didnt know, and it was worth the money. Im looking forward to trying the other rooms they had as well! Definitely returning!

We had a group of 8 who did the Hostage room. We had a fantastic time. The clues were logical and elaborate. The entire experience was well planned and put together. We got out with less than 5 minutes left. We are looking forward to returning and giving a different room a try.

This was our second time at Breakout Escape Games and we have an amazing time on both occasions. The staff is super friendly and helpful and I love that they are watching and listening via CCTV so they can provide hints or clues when needed. Highly recommend!!!

had so much fun with the family here at Breakout. The service was excellent from the moment we walked through the door. We ended up doing the Kidnapping and it was definitely a challenge. We sadly didnt break out in time, but well be back for redemption.

We did the Casino room as part of a birthday event and it was awesome. Our game master Tom was great and really made the experience really exciting and enjoyable. We escaped with ten minutes left on the clock and had fun throughout the entire game.

We did the hostage room. It was a lot of fun, but TOUGH. A lot of numbers, and even some math! This was my groups first time, and we didnt make it out. I recommend this place to everyone, but the hostage room to the brainy people.
