I rarely share my personal business on social media, but I am extremely upset by the situation I have just encountered at the above mentioned establishment. I took my friends child tonight to see a Diary of a Wimpy Kid at the Epic theatre in Palm Coast which was suppose to be an enjoyable event. That quickly changed when I was approached by an Officer and accused of recording the movie with my phone. During the middle of the movie, I was told to take my belongings with me and I then was escorted into the hallway without the child where I was advised there was evidence indicating I was recording the movie with my phone. I was shocked by the accusation, denied the claim and even suggested they look for themselves at my recordings to clear up the mistake. They advised me that it wasnt necessary and asked me to sit back down while they discuss the situation. The officer came back minutes later, apologized and told me to enjoy the rest of the movie. Are you serious!?!?Enjoy the movie, yes thats exactly what i was going to do after being accused of piracy. I am highly upset and embarrased that I was treated like some type of low level criminal. I did not receive any type of apology from the staff. I will be contacting the movie theater, corporate and writing some very negative reviews.

Went with my sister, and daughters to see The Purge Anarchy, I felt like I was in a daycare center rather than an R rated Movie the 7:50 showing. There were 3 infants in the theater as well as at least 10 children under the age of 10, why are babies and small children even out that late. In the suspenseful parts of the movie you hear little children crying or distracted by the mothers who had to bring the infants to the side hall to quiet the children, then your distracted by the teen mom in 5 inch red pumps climbing up and down the stairs with the 3 yr old back and forth throughout the whole movie. Poor judgement 1 on the parents who brought them, shame on you this is no movie for young children and when I approached the manager after the movie, he states there is no policy and that the mothers were bringing the children out of the theater, exactly which means they disrupted the movie over and over for those of us with common sense to either get babysitters or be an adult to go out for an evening. If you need to bring small children to a theater it should be to see a Disney movie not a movie of that venue. So if you like to sit in middle of a daycare and pay 10$ for a movie to be disrupted visit this theater.

I went to this theatre with my friends at a 7:30 showing for Unfriended (i recommend) . It was great but they really need to put an age limit to this kind of genre! Right next to me was a mom and her infants , the top seating was full of teen moms and theyre uncontrolled kids. And no i am not saying it was the kids fault for theyre behavior i would have been jumping off the walls if i was that age and watching this kind of movie ether! I talked to the manager and he firmly stated that there is NO age limit just if youre older than 13 and have a younger peer next to you, then your aloud in. To me they just want the money. Numerous times I got to sit 30 mins through watching a black screen because it didnt work. Even though they gave me a free movie to see whatever i wanted my reaction was " why come back when it was a horrible experience?" If you like loud noises and dont care about your favorite movie being disrupted because of an elderly couple yelling at the screen, and kids running around with there parents following them , then go to this theatre .

I was so happy when the Epic Theatre came to Palm Coast several years ago. The theatre has stadium seating, is very clean and has a helpful staff. What I have discovered recently is their choice of films to bring to our area is mostly for teens and/or violence, sex, loving adults. I have friends on LI, NY and Naples, Fl who tell me of the most wonderful films they have seen and sadly Epic does not choose to bring them to this theatre. For example Suffragettes, Room, The Danish Girl, Youth etc. Instead we get Star Wars in two of the auditoriums for weeks and weeks as well as things like "Mockingjay for weeks and weeks. When they brought "The Big Short" to the theatre it was shown in their smallest room and was completely sold out so that we had to sit in the first row of the theatre. When I spoke to the manager he said it was all about $$$$, Too very sad and unfortunately the only other theatre nearby is Regal and that is just as bad.

Highly disappointed! This theater was once well kept, comfortable and enjoyable but times have changed. My friends and I decided to see the purge for 8:30, the screen remained black, no previews nothing until 8:51. In addition to, it was HOT, like sauna hot in the theater. My friend went to complain and remind the theater that there was suppose to be a movie showing, well movie came on eventually and the response for the heat was they cannot fix it and would issue a refund. Well we stayed because the next theater is out of the city. We decided to get some bottled water and they were out. The seats are in horrible condition. The pleather had worn out and cracked. Such a shame for a what used to be a nice place. Next time Ill make the drive to another city. Cross your fingers when going to this dump unless you enjoy watching movies in stinky sweaty heat.

This is one of a small chain of new economical built theaters with nice leather back chairs, clean bathrooms and not many bells and whistles. The location is off the beaten path and hard to find. $10 for matinee 3D, $10 for a medium drink and popcorn leaves a couple $30 lighter. We got the moviegoers card and they lavish us with free popcorn and movie tickets about every 3 visits. The downside to the theater is the first matinee movies start around 2:30. I remember going to the theater at 11AM as a kid. The place is also run by high school kids. Ive never seen anyone over the age of 18 in this place. They dont do a very good job cleaning between shows. My wife had gum stuck to her pants and there were napkins in drinks left behind last time. Nonetheless we love going here even if we have to wait until almost dinner time for the first movie.

Wonderful movie theater. I was really looking forward for Palm Coast to have its own instead of having to drive to another city. Clean, friendly staff at entrance and I really liked the small restaurant like section inside by the food court. Has a small arcade inside as well, I wonder if anyone uses it heh, but good touch. No paper towels inside the bathrooms but has one of those new hand air dry machines. No IMAX but 3d is available and the screen sizes are good enough for me. It is a bit difficult to find for the first time, and second and third, I think it needs more signs from SR 100. Overall, nice theater.
