Really nice theater, a bit over the top on decorations, though. But it is The Villages, so that van be expected. Ticket prices are reasonable compared to other theaters. I think their snack bar has better prices, though. Another plus is the ability to put all the fake butter you want on your popcorn. The other condiments are also out for you to over-top your nachos and hot dogs. As far as the actual theaters go they are big, new and have comfortable seats. The arms can be folded up if you like to snuggle. The sound system and projector are excellent quality. Also, all the water fountains have filtered water bottle refilling stations.

10/2014~~This is an overall review and not for the theater alone. From PA looking at retirement communities. This is quite a ways out from Leesburg/Lady Lake area. (on Rte 44 and closer to I-75 than Leesburg/Lady lake) Beautiful town square (arent they all) with gorgeous landscaping. Brownwood is the newest town center in a western-style theme. Shops/restaurants but not as many as Spanish Springs. The Villages is huge with just over 107,000 residents. Although too costly for us with bonds, HOAs and other fees it is a fun place to visit, go for entertainment, shopping and restaurants.

Fun just to see all the antiques and the barn ambiance in the lobby, theater, and, yes, even the rest rooms. My husband and I always enjoy viewing movies there. As other reviewers have mentioned, the people working there are very friendly. They greet you with a smile every time. The stadium seating provides an unobstructed view. The seats rock and the armrests can be placed vertically between the seat backs for larger than average moviegoers. (The best of all is we get to put the butter on our popcorn ourselves.)

This is an excellent movie facility. Its extremely clean, very comfortable seating, large screens with superb surround sound. The management staff really run this place very well, every employee has always been polite, professional and knowledgable. The concession stand prices are among the lowest around with a wide variety. Its beautifully decorated in a western antique theme. Cannot say enough about this place our family choice to watch movies out of several theaters in the area.

You cant beat the prices, its beautiful inside, and the employees are humble. We came after the hurricane and they asked how we were doing with the aftermath, since we are out of power we decided to treat ourselves out they told us to stay as long as we want. We live an hour away and this is the only movie theater I will go to. 5 stars for sure.

Well maintained theater, excellent seats - roomy and comfortable with great unobstructed view of the screen, as heads of people in the row in front of you are at ankle height. Delightful sound quality. And after the show? Dancing to live music out on the square in The Villages. Close-by eatery choices. All the ingredients for a perfect evening.

This is the best theater around. Its really the only one I will go to. If a movie is showing that I want to see and its not at Barnstorm, I usually dont go see it. The seats are comfortable, the aisles are nice and roomy, its stadium seating, and the decor is really cozy and inviting. Theres nothing bad to say about this theater. I love it!

Everything you want on a theater except for the movie....the showings are more for just older crowds, for example Dirty Gampa, no Deadpool :( or scary movies more of a big Hallmark channel... really have good movies making the young adults feel left out

Along with the great normal seating area that others have mentioned, there is a good space for wheelchairs and next to each space a seat for a companion. A very comfortable theatre with great facilities and a snack bar with a varied menu.

Excellent Theater. Was Zootopia here on March Break. Great atmosphere, comfortable seats, sound, lighting and screen were excellent. I am not an avid movie goer but this theater is memberable as it is not your "cookie-cutter theater.

Been here twice. Staff is rude both times. Got turned away from a rated R movie because I didnt have my ID. I dont even get carded in a bar. Staff needs a little more common sense. Will not waste my money here again.

The Barnstorm theater is nicely themed. As a village guest they provide a modest discount if you show your guest ID. The prices are reasonable at the theater and the seats are comfy.
