This former military golf course inside Moffet Field has nice views of the adjacent SF bay as well as the large hangars next to the air strip. I havent been here before the conversion to a public course, so cant really compare before and after, but the overall layout and maintenance is still somewhat on the lower end of the scale for the bay area. Flat with lots of dog legs and only some bunker/water challenges. Reasonably priced and not so busy. To gain entry into Moffet Field to get to the golf course, you will have to show a picture ID. Right across from the club house is the Google parking lot for their fleet of "commuter buses" ... theres a lot of them.

Nice golf course in a very unconventional location. Could only play 9 holes due to time constraints but, I did enjoy the round. Great prices. Only downside, I needed to deal with an extremely bad mannered member of the staff who even raised his voiced angrily against me when I was trying to calmly find an agreement with him with an issue I was facing (how to rent clubs and when to return them while still having time to finish the round I paid for)

This course has come a long way the last couple of years, really doing justice to the design with better playing conditions. The prices are great but sometimes the staff can be a little cruddy to deal with. Minus 1 star for that. Overall, great design and the views are really neat, only place to get some of those views of the airfield and bunkers.

For the price, you cant beat Moffett Field Golf Club. You should join the "Flight Club" for a great discount too. Some of the tee boxes were in need of repair and they did that this year. They do have some from poor drainage on one hole but other than that the course plays well.

The course sets up wonderfully, the new staff are very nice and helpful, especially the new GM, Gary Pearce, who will go out of his way to help you. All in all the course is great to give you a challenge and have fun!!

Great place to get a casual round of golf in, on very good greens and a friendly environment. They cant do anything about the wind comma but that can be challenging in the afternoon, still fun though

Much improved since a few years ago. It gets pretty windy, but the fairways are pretty wide open so that makes it nice. Great views of the hangar bays on the way in on 18.
