We went to see the new guardians of the galaxy Saturday. We got there in plenty of time to order food since they do not allow outside food. The food shack was so packed by the time we even got to order our food the movie had started. We ordered a pizza and sodas thats it, after 40 minutes of waiting for our pizza and watching multiple pizzas ordered after ours go out to customers I finally got back in line instead of being rude and just cutting infront of the many people waiting to order to speak with someone about my issue. The owner himself comes out of the kitchen and starts yelling at me calling me a liar saying I had not waited that long. Unreal, I could not believe he was so rude, so I proceed to tell him I paid with my bank card and I have a receipt with the time on it, he still proceeded to call me a liar and said my pizza was coming right out. The very nice lady who was running the cash register asked to see my receipt and of course confirmed I had been waiting for 40 min. The owner never apologized for falsely accusing me of lying nor offered any kind of compensation for missing pretty much the whole movie I had just missed because I was stuck waiting in their concession stand for my food I paid for. By the time my pizza came out I got to see 35 minutes of the movie I just paid for. Not to mention they charge $11.00 for a $5 tombstone pizza. I will not be going back to this drive Inn and I would suggest that you eat before you go there otherwise you have waisted your money.

I had to go and experience the nostalgia and ambiance of my childhood memories of My parents taking our family all packed in the station wagon us kids dressed In our p.js with the built-in feeties lol cooler full of glass neck colas sandwiches but NO candy or popcorn that was part of the fun going to the concession stand and getting our corn and candy before the flick started and we could take only our candy up to the playground beneath the humongous screen for my favorite part of the evening the loony tunes Cartoon!!! Oh yes this was living large to a 7 year old boy and it was one of my best family gathering memories to this day and we knew that after the cartoon was over the picture show was getting ready to begin yea!! I would run as fast as my legs would allow to rea cf h our car and ge try settled down with my popcorn and blanket finish off my good-n-plenty candy and open our colas all 3 since I was the oldes try of us children and then waiting too see what our parents had brought us all to see and I had to tell this storey in a nice family loving way because the movie that my parents had decided to take us kids to was non-other then " NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD" this picture sacred the living hell outta us for years I would never go near a grave yard lol thanks for sharing my long story folks hope ya all laughed at my experience

Me and my wife visit the ocala drive in quite frequently. And I must say that it is the best place to go for a movie date night. The prices are absolutely amazing I mean 6$ for not one but two movies that are new and in theatres. You cant beat it, and not to mention the food prices are pretty good too. The food isnt fine dining but it is delicious and fairly priced. Normally when I go to a movie I do what most of us do and stop at the dollar store for snacks because the prices at the theater are highway robbery. Between two peoples tickets and snacks you can easily spend 60$ or more going to the regular theater and only see one movie. When me and my wife go to the ocala drive in we spend maybe 32 $ on the tickets a pizza two drinks and some other snack we like to switch it up last Time we got there dog in a blanket with cheese. It was really really good. The only complaint we have is completely out of the managements control and thats the rude or ignorant people who forget they arent the only ones there and leave there headlights on or park in places that arent spots and block you in or ding your car. But honestly its not every time and its still totally worth the money. I absolutly love the drive In and will continue to spend money there in fact we plan on going again tonight. keep up the great service and movies!!! :)

Its a really nice inexpensive drive in movie theater to go to. For $6.00 per person you get to watch two new movies. They have two screens, a concession stand & a arcade. If its nice out you dont have to sit in your vehicle if you dont want to because they have tables & chairs you can sit at instead. They also have public restrooms with a handicap accessible stall. So all & all I would recommend this drive in as a place to go. Im on vacation visiting my sister & Im from CT for the price of one movie ticket back home at this drive in I enjoy two new movies, a medium bucket of fresh popcorn with extra butter & if your a smoker you can smoke throughout your movies which I am so thats a big plus to me. So go enjoy yourself you wont regret it.

Awesome! The quality of the projector is top notch and the sound through your car speakers is flawless! The ticket prices make this place a steal, compared to conventional theaters; two movies for the price of one ticket ($6)? ITS A NO BRAINER!.... Not to mention, the concession prices are considerably cheaper that the Regal in Gainesville. I want to see this place last a long time, and It kills me to see people bring in their own concessions, because this place only makes money on what it serves; apparently they break even on the tickets. I will continue to come back time and time again.

Every night a double feature, great prices, good stuff at the concession stand. Fried mushrooms and nachos were good, popcorn was a bit too greasy. Ads between movies are amusing, but annoying after the third time through. They need to get more variety in the between movie ads. Several of the ads are obviously power point slides. A fun night for the family, though. We love going. No outside food or drink. They make no money off the movies due to licensing costs, concessions is where they get their profit, so the menu offerings are different and a bit better than indoor cinemas.

Nothing beats the traditional drive in experience on a great night! $6 per person for a double (sometimes triple) feature. The food menu is good with lots of choices and very reasonable prices - way cheaper than going to the theaters in town. Screen and sound quality are both great - we always play sound through our radio, but you can sit in the central public areas and listen, too. The kids always have fun here, too. Finally, the staff are super friendly and very helpful (we need a jump start last time). Try it, you wont be disappointed!

Ended up leaving before the movie. Rules about where to park and awkward screen placement make it impossible to park and have a good view of the screen. A ton of spaces that are useless and everyone crowded into a small space.they dont want trucks in the first rows, but allow cars and SUVs with hatchback to keep them raised. (Just as obstructing) The people that apparently frequent the theater are extremely rude and obnoxious. Wont ever go back. Not worth the hassle unless you want to sit for 2 hours before the movie just to get a spot.
