We went to stay at the Embassy Suites in Lake Buena Vista to go to Disney World, which was purchased from a family member who owns a travel company. We stayed there for 5 days from 7/22-7/27/2017. THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING, unless you are only concerned with getting the free breakfast. We decided to do this after the recent passing of our son 2 months ago as a get away for some relaxation. I told my husband to choose a Hilton Brand hotel because I am a Hilton Honors member. However, we were very disappointed with the housekeeping (they werent the kindest people) and also with the sleeping accommodations. The pull out bed in the king room suite was very uncomfortable. The room was also a little cramped for a king suite. You could feel the bed springs when you slept on the mattress. My husband mentioned this and we were only given extra bedding to try to pad the bed, which still didnt work. Thus, our 7 year old slept with us every night during the 5 day stay. Also, the housekeeping never vacuumed our room and didnt clean the restroom very well. I left something on purpose just to see if it would be cleaned and it wasnt. For the price and location of the hotel, this was disappointing. I chose this hotel as part of our package because Ive stayed at Embassy Suites before. Now I regret this and wish I had chosen a Marriot brand hotel, like the Delta hotel. I wanted to write this with the encourage of Seilly, an employee there for the Hilton Grand Vacation club, who approached us and asked us about our stay. They did waive some of the resort fees, but I feel like we should have been better accommodated, after having to already change rooms the first night we were there. This is unacceptable and Im hoping that changes will be done in the future. If we return again, it probably wont be with a Hilton brand hotel, if this is how the trends are for those hotels affiliated with Hilton without the Hilton name in them. We also experienced noisy room neighbors, whom I had to report to management, and there was only 1 good computer working (the others had occasional issues and just logged you off in the middle of working or trying to get airline checkin tickets) for guests to use and it was the MAC computer. Also, better fruit selections should have been offered besides honey dew melon and cantaloupe everyday. The pool area was nice, but for the price they need to provide better housekeeping staff, sleeping accommodations (pull out beds), replace old blankets that now have lint balls on them, and make sure all computers are working (especially for a hotel that accommodates over 200 guests daily). A shuttle service within 2-3 miles also wouldnt hurt since you otherwise have to walk or call Uber to get to nearby shopping and eating, if you dont want to eat in the hotel, which is pricey. There is a shuttle to the Disney parks provided by the hotel, but you have to make a reservation at least 2 hours to get on the shuttle...bummer, if you dont get up early enough to do this, then you have to wait until later. The hotel food was good though, but you can get cheaper food within a mile from the hotel. Disney was great, so the trip wasnt too bad. Luckily, we came back a few days before going back to work, so I was able to get some good rest in my own comfortable bed.

I am thoroughly unimpressed with this property. I booked a room here in a hurry. Unfortunately, my usual spot was shockingly overpriced. I still paid more than usual, but I know the ES brand well and have always experienced a great night. I arrived late in the evening. I pulled up to the valet. I politely informed the valet attendant I am checking in. He asked me to pull up, but there are (no less than) 4 cars parked in front of the building. Where can I go? I cant move any further, so I leave the car where it is and I go inside. 2 minutes later I hear my car alarm go off. Someone apparently tried to open a door. I disarmed it from the lobby. 5 minutes later my alarm goes off again. Now Im annoyed, but I dont want to get out of line, because when I arrived the line at the front desk was 4 or 5 people deep. I was (almost) next and there were 3 more people behind me. Then. A large rowdy crowd of (what looked like) a Brazilian Soccer Team entered from a party bus and decided to hold a club meeting in the lobby. All in, I waited almost 15 minutes to reach the front desk. I received the room from the front desk. The parking lot is VERY confusing (even with a map). The buildings arent numbered. I park, get to my room and the 1st key didnt work, thankfully the 2nd key did. I turn on the lights and they are the daylight/fluorescent kind?! Really?! Blech!! They make everyone look like they need iron or recently ate bad sushi, additionally the color of the light hurts my eyes. Then! Surprise! No bar soap! Refrigerator? It was turned off? (Meds had to stay on ice). Furniture? Its newer but already worn. Then! Two dead palmetto bugs! Call em what you want! Theyre large flying roaches! There was one in the bathroom and one in the bedroom. (I guess they forgot to check out?) THEN! At 11:45PM just as Im about to slip into bed, my friends, (the Brazilian Soccer Team) decide it is time for a friendly game of Ping Pong and Foosball in the courtyard by the pool! With both table games going simultaneously, it sounded as though there was a woodpecker stuck in the steel drum of a cement mixer while dragging a piano! For additional ambiance the sound of beer bottles, crashing metal gates, and loud cheering created a true authentic experience. Also, it was a quite annoying. I let the "1st Annual Table Top Olympics" continue for about 10 minutes before I called the front desk. 20 minutes later their begrudging moans and groans could be heard as hostel ..er hotel security put the kibosh on their Olympic dreams. The gate slammed (no less than) 10 times as they all left their make-shift arena. Incidentally, sound transfers VERY well in these rooms. Anyone walking on the catwalk or even talking in their room can be heard. I am writing this BEFORE Ive been able to get to sleep. Even as Im writing this the gate downstairs is opening and closing more than a Floridas Turnpike tollbooth. If I dont get much sleep. Im not going to be happy. If Im not going to be happy. I dont write happy reviews. If I dont write happy reviews I dont come back to places I dont write happy reviews for. ..see you in the morning

The WORST hotel I have ever stayed. 1. We arrived at 12:30pm, checked in and was told to call hotel by 2pm to see if any deluxe room is ready. Called at 2:05 and was told to go to hotel front desk. I told and very rude person told me to go to the hotel to see. 2. 2:30, I sat in lobby and was told that my room is not ready ALTHOUGH I see others were checking. I was told that my "requested room" was not ready until 4pm, GUARANTEED. 3. 4:05, very cold person told me that my room is otherwise ready. I stated in only requested "deluxe room" and how many "deluxe room" does this hotel has? They then stated rudely that they will get me another room. 4. Next day, no bathtub towel were in our room after we came back from theme park. 5. Next day, ice bucket left unclean. Thrash cans not emptied. Called front desk. Came back later and the grewted person left their key chains in our room. 6. Wireless WiFi is SUCH. Called front desk and was told working on it. 7. Following days WiFi is still 1 Bar. 8. Ordered pizza in next to Gazwbo and was greeted by blank face young lady. Was told to come back 15-20mins. Came back at 10 mins. No customer waiting. Waited 15 more minutes than I walked up. Same lady said rudely "what was your order?" Told her and she opened the warmer and there was only 1 pizza. I Wanted to Check out but was told a PENALTY FEE OF 1 DAY WILL BE CHARGED. I had to either pay or suffer. 9. Room has popcorn ceiling, bathroom door has to be pushed hard to open and closed. Bathroom door is black appear to be mold at inside lower. Bathtub drain is broken and had to be removed for water to drain. 10. Room mini "fridge" takes more than 1 day and night to cool. Pool divider drapery is old, moldy and rusted at top of hangers. 11. Today is the last evening prior to check out. Room is NOT CLEANED. Called front desk and was Hung up 2 times. Went downstairs from 6th floor and waited at HONORS line. And a rude guy waived me over to the other end of the counter. I informed my room I not cleaned and he stated VERY RUDE THEY WILL BE HERE UNTIL 5PM since they had 145 rooms checked out today. Now is 4:37 and our room is STILL NOT CLEANED! I stayed here because of "by Hilton" in the title. I will never stay at Embassy or Embarrassed Suites EVER again. YUCK!
