Summit County fairgrounds is run by excellent pwople who take great care of the place. Many events are scheduled here, 4H and horse shows are always interesting to check out, and the fair is a great time for families.

The fairgrounds facilities are nice and fairly well run (organized). That said - the summit county fair (2017) seemed meager this year - with a 2 1/2 y/o we managed through in 3 hours.

Was interested in renting the party center. Of 4 calls to them over 2.5 wks, they have returned 0. Doesnt look like they have their act together enough to trust them with an event.

nice large building for different events, but it needs many improvements, the road and parking lots are in terrible shape, not sure what admission and parking fees go towards?

Dont like the fact i had to pay to get in to the fairgrounds, i only wanted to attend the grandstand. I more upset there was no mention online on there website

First I was upset cause I didnt know you couldnt use the tickets for inside for outside things so the kids only had fun with the inside then we left

Only draw back is how close it is to Akron. Events can get a big share of urban troublemakers. Family did not feel safe walking around at night.

Lots of good food, fun rides and nice people at the fair. They had shows to watch and ponies rides . Will definitely recommend this place

As far as county fairs go, this one is on the low end. Very small, over priced, and not many attractions or events.

Summit fair is always wonderful. Parking is a bit hectic but if you go early in the day you wont have any problems.
