Really liked it when Carmike renovated and reopened it. However, since AMC has taken over, its left a lot to be desired. For one, the theaters themselves are much dirtier than they were before - it seems they are more concerned with having 2 workers posted at the podiums to direct you to your theater (its not really that tough to find where Im going guys) instead of using them to clean the theaters. Also, the bathroom on the main side has had 1 of its 2 urinals out of commission for at least 3 months. Not even gonna try to fix it? They also changed something with the popcorn because it doesnt taste nearly as fresh as it did with Carmike (and this wasnt just one bucket, but the last 3 or 4 times Ive been there it has been subpar). Just overall very disappointed in the transition. Carmike was really good - this AMC is now very average and Ive found myself going back to Regal on a regular basis.

Not a bad theater and their 5 dollar movies on Tuesday are nice but when ever I go see a movie on the weekdays they usually make you buy your tickets at concessions and with no one to rip your tickets before seeing a movie it would be far to easy to walk into a theater room without paying. Some of the theater rooms are also a little old so you might end up in one with broken seats or a projector that skips. They will also try anything to save money diming the theater room lights turning off the outside sign at night turnkng off a projector when it is not in use which is not a bad thing until you show up to a theater room right before the movie starts and because they think one one is in their they turn off the projector making you have to go to concessions to get it back on. But it is the closest theater to me and the prices are good so I come back to it a lot.

The remodel is very nice and welcome. However, I was sad to see my feet sticking to the floor in the theater and on the concrete outside the front doors. Also, when I went to use the bathroom, there were massive puddles of urine under all the urinals...gross! gross! gross! Clearly, the bathrooms had been neglected that day. Those puddles did not get that large after just one show. I hope management gets serious about cleaning this newly remodeled facility. It would be really sad to see the wonderful remodel count for nothing because cleaning is neglected. What would have been a delightful experience was repulsive because cleaning was neglected the day I went there.

When youre the only theater in a town, you dont have to be the best...you just have to exist. That being said, when you look past the decrepit facilities, lack of digital projection, and general disregard of the place, the theater isnt bad. Screens could benefit from realignment, and the staff generally arent thrilled to be there, but honestly, if youre spending your time watching a movie while youre at the beach (and you dont live here) youre doing something wrong anyway.

Nice theater but terrible way to buy tickets. There is no separate line to buy tickets. Tickets are sold at the refreshment section, so you stand in line while people buy their tickets and popcorn. Last time I wanted popcorn and drink but felt bad about holding up the people behind me so just bought ticket. Its a stupid system for patrons trying to see a movie but probably a money maker for management.

I had a positive experience at the new NSB Lux theater. Comfy seats, good picture quality. The theater has been nicely redone. Much cleaner and modernized. Love that the theater is local. Thats a real plus. Only small negative comment would be that they try to sell the concessions items a bit too aggressively. Sorry guys, i know you aree just doing your job.

Nice seating. But BIG problem buying tix. Not sure if its a cost cutting measure, but we all have to wait in line at the snack bar to buy tickets - regardless if we are buying snacks. Got here early, only to wait in line for a long time while folks are buying their snacks. Probably going to Regal next time. This is ridiculous.

The new ticketing system threw me off - they do need a sign on the door that lets those of us used to the old way to buy the tickets at the concession stand - but every time I visited, it was clean and the movies clear, uninterrupted, and with great sound.

Popcorn is good. My only complaint is that since the kids behind the stand never ask for our phone number, no more free stuff. So my friend and I go to Regal in Port Orange. They give free stuff. Bad way for new management to start out.

Kids behind the counter never know whats going on. The registers work only HALF the time. Managers are completely unprofessional. The big man in red stood up front talking to a cashier my entire time there. Not pleased.

Reasonable prices - well worth the drive from Daytona Beach, FL if youre on a budget. Free refills with self-service COKE drink machines! Slushies available as well -EXCELLENT! Perfect rainy weather activity!

I vacation in New Smyrna every year and and been to some of Floridas movie theaters. I love this movie theater. The remodel made this theater the best in Florida. No complaint and the seats oh so comfortable.

The theater was neat and clean staff professional and alert ...the fat idiots in the row in front of us could do with a few smacks to the head but other than adults acting worse than a 3 year old it was great.

Very clean and comfortable. Love the reclining chairs. Only problem is I wanted more popcorn and had to wait in the ticket line again. I think they need to separate the ticket line from the food line.

Good theater with faux leather seats, some of which recline. Combined ticket line and concessions may be a problem for some but we always get popcorn. Doesnt get all of the thinker movies.

The theater is still relatively small compared to many others in the central Florida area but the remodel makes it feel very pleasant and inviting. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

This was our first time seeing a movie at this cinema. Everything was clean and the seats were comfortable. Looking at it in the outside, you wouldnt expect it to be nice but it was.

Seats are comfortable, arranged so no one will obstruct your view. Everyone is polite, and it has that small town feel like everyone knows each other - rare in this day and age.

Recently updated. Full array of food. Turnstile machines. Stadium seating, with recliner sections at the front. Pricing is good, not expensive for tickets. Not overly crowded.

WOW! Really fantastic remodel done here, the seats are incredibly comfy...best Ive ever been in. Felt like I was in my living room in a lazy boy watching the big screen :)

I live within a mile of a well known theater but will drive 12 miles to this one. I love the remodel and how the seats recline and are big. Best theater I have ever seen!!
