I was completely disappointed with the experience I had at Escape Games this time around. The staff seemed uninterested and bored and had no desire to create a fun, immersive experience. For $25 a person, not even including the online service charge, the staff should have made sure everything in the room was set up perfectly. Instead, after the game (we played the Conspiracy room and we did not escape), a staff member came in to VERY briefly "debrief" us by telling us that there had been a mistake made on their part and that the room was not set up correctly. In our case, a secret door had randomly popped open without us doing anything to prompt it. This caused us to try to solve clues within the secret room without having the necessary information to do so because we had not solved previous clues in the main room. Also it set us off because we were trying to solve puzzles in the main room with clues from the secret room. Not only this, but when he was explaining how we could have escaped he mentioned that we needed to find postcards to decipher a code to open a lock which would lead to every other clue we needed to even escape the room. We had found 2 of these and he insisted one of the other was in a book but could not find it when we asked to see. Yet he continued to tell us the codes and how to open every other lock in the room. He just couldnt find the 2 postcards that were literally essential to escaping the room. When we questioned this, he seemed annoyed and rushed even faster through the rest of the debrief. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience here. It seems we were set up to fail from the beginning and that is unacceptable for the amount of money we pay to participate. The staff should make sure that everything is set up correctly no matter what, even if that involves starting the game a few minutes late. They should also make an effort to be more enthusiastic and work harder to create a fun environment. I will not be returning to this establishment as an unsolvable room is not one Id ever pay to "escape" from again.

Our group, 8 adults, enjoyed the CSI room. Sadly we did not solve the crime before the Feds banged on the door. We were close though. We had a great time and we are looking forward to trying our luck in another room. Maybe we will have better luck the second time around. Okay maybe the third time will be the charm ! A great event for the price. Adults wont be disappointed. It was harder than I thought so I would not recommend this room for children. For the cost of a movie, popcorn and a drink, you can stimulate your brain and if you are lucky maybe get bragging rights. There are no phones or cameras allowed in the actual room. You can save those for your personal shots after the event. Lets face it, you can survive for less than 2 hours without texting someone. Things that could make this better. #1 winning (of course) #2 if you did solve it, some kind of incentive or small prize other than bragging rights. Of course it may increase the cost a small bit but I for one always like to walk away with some trinket. It could be a simple magnet with the Escape Room contact info (good for them too for advertising). I would try another Escape Room event.

The rooms were very cool but it was extremely difficult to contact the place they only way i could get a response was via FB message, and since we had a large group (20 people in 3 rooms) they seemed to be rushing to try to get us to start all at the same time (nice gesture), but because of this one of the rooms was not reset properly and they had not reset the final puzzle in the room. After we opened the door to leave and was unsure if we had finished and kept asking if that was it or if we had broke something it took about 5 minuets for the monitors to realize that the puzzle had not been reset properly. At that point an employee came in and reset the puzzle but a couple members of our group had already seen the code to the door and could no longer participate because they didnt want to cheat. It really took away from the experience and we wished they had taken a bit more time to make sure everything was reset properly.

My first experience at Escape Games Worcester was back in August for my birthday. I went with a group of girlfriends and we did the CSI room. Although we ran out of time (2 clues away!!!) we all had an awesome experience! Our guide was helpful and very funny! We enjoyed it so much that we returned in September with a couple additional friends for another birthday. This time we were in the Museum. Our guide played the part for the room very well and really helped us along our experience. We escaped this time and it was awesome!! We plan to return to complete - or attempt to- every room they have!! We always start off or follow up the experience with dinner and/or drinks and it makes for a great night out. Im happy that theyve brought something new to the city thats affordable and so incredibly enjoyable! They have hired great staff and I look forward to returning very soon!

Had a lot of fun here with a group of three on a Saturday afternoon. The experience was really unique and having to work with a separate group of people (who we hadnt met beforehand) actually added to the experience. The puzzles within the room were fun to solve and the staff were friendly and happy to answer questions and take photos after the room was completed. My only gripe is there was a bit of a disconnect between the "story" of the room we were in (Crime Scene) and the puzzles we were asked to solve. A lot of the details that were given to us turned out to be of no consequence, which is part of the reason why we failed to make it out in the 60 minutes. Still, a very fun way to spend an afternoon.

This escape room experience was very good! Ive done quite a few different escape rooms at many different locations and this was by far one of my favorites. We did the museum and I attended with 6 of my family members (ages 16 - 52). My sister was the only person in the room other than me who had done an escape game before. Once everyone caught on to how the game worked, they all really enjoyed the whole experience and frequently talk about going back for another room at this location. Our game master was also superb. He really did a nice job of playing the part and making the experience as authentic as possible. Id definitely return to this location to try out one of their other rooms!

I was looking for something close by , indoors, affordable, and "different" for my 11 and 14 y/os. This was PERFECT!!! We were off to a great start with the first set of clues but after that it was very challenging. Although we had a fantastic time, we didnt find the key to get out. The time raced by. I was impressed with how well my kids did. Scheduling was fast and easy online. Parking was great on the weekend. It was tricky finding the place though, not well marked. The staff were friendly and helpful, giving us hints when we got stuck...but dont give away the secrets... we may have returned to the same room again. We will DEFINITELY RETURN!!
