The Google description as to what this stadium is currently used for is slightly incorrect. It was the former Spring Training home of the Philadelphia Phillies, a Major League team. And it was also used by one of their Minor League (Professional Baseball) affiliates, the Clearwater Phillies. It is no longer used by either, (nor by any Minor League Baseball team any longer) as both of those Phillies teams play in a newer nearby stadium. Jack Russell Stadium is currently used by high school and college level players for training and for games.
