I have much better things to do than post comments, however my experience was so bad it needs to be shared. I would have given zero stars but your required to give at least one. Almost a year ago my sister, wife and friend bought tickets to see Guns and Roses in Buffalo at New Era Field. Being lifelong fans we never thought we would get the chance to see the original band, so naturally we had been really excited. My sister suffers from Multiple Sclerosis(MS) and has for the past ten years. She attends as many concerts as she can while she can still walk which is becoming almost impossible as her condition worsens. My wife has never been to a concert and I had not been in twenty years. Being that my wife and I are both combat veterans we were very surprised to see what I believe to be officers walking around in full combat gear carrying M4s dressed exactly the way we did in combat. This immediately made us feel uneasy as they were not discreet to say the least. To make a long story short we tried to enter and after going through metal detectors and being frisked we were told we have to take my wifes purse back to the car or throw it away. We tried to explain that we had to park a mile away which still cost twenty dollars and it is a long trip back. They rudely replied, "thats not our problem, throw it out then." My wife ran back to the car and back which took about fifteen minutes. We tried to enter again and then told we cannot bring in our vaporizer. We again explained that they cost a lot of money and my wife just ran back. They said thats not their problem. I Again tried to explain that my wife just ran a mile back to the car and that my sister has MS and that I am a 100% disabled veteran from being blown up in Iraq. The officer said to me , "well this isnt a combat zone." I felt this to a very rude and disrespectful comment since they were all in combat gear as one would be in a combat zone. Anyways, we really wanted to see the concert so again my wife ran a mile back to the car and back. By this time the show had started and they were on the fifth or six song. As we tried to enter again they told my sister she has to throw out her pack of cigarettes. We were still at the outside gate a few hundred feet from the arena. She walked over to the trash can threw out her pack of cigarettes and lit one before we went in. We were still at the outside gate when they swarmed around her like she had a bomb. They were very forceful and rude. They said she has to leave. We never even got in or within a hundred feet of the arena. I tried to explain to them everything we had just been through and they told us all to leave or we would be arrested. At that point we did get very angry as we had complied over and over with their demands only to be treated like we are criminals. We paid in total $800.00 for our tickets which we bought a year ago. The officer could have simply said to my sister you cant smoke here either or please put it out. A little manners can go a long way. As I stated we are combat veterans that fought for this country and disabled as well. The fact that we were treated like this is appalling. We are all upstanding members of our community and despite our disabilities still work and pay taxes. Instead we were treated like criminals or terrorist. In closing shame on you Buffalo Bills and all that take part in making hard working people who fought for this county unable to see a show they paid a lot of money for. The money is one thing but to be treated like this in the United States is disgraceful. I would not recommend to anyone to attend an event at New Era Field as they apparently think its a combat zone and therefore you have no rights. I will never spend another dime in Buffalo or to support this organization and I recommend to others to do the same.

i was made to censor/correct my true feeling and review of this place because the google gestapo wouldnt publish it for a curse word, an adjective describing human waste of the solid sort..... Went There For rolling Stones Show 7/11/15....what a crap hole for concerts.!! if your looking to have fun inside the stadium forget it.!! this place is a no fun zone...!! the Erie county sheriffs Dept. Who does a lot of security inside and out make this a venue that will get you arrested quickly if your trying to have fun....police everywhere....much like gestapo..cant do this or your out...cant do that...or your out...even bothering you when they think your not in your own seats..i got harassed about going to my seat in the friggin nose bleeds...who the hell in their right minds is going to seek out seats all the way upstairs to sit...bad braced up leg and all, ..only to have some chump sheriff not only ask me if these were my seats, but with attitude..what an ass...guess the tax payers of Erie County get their monies worth from sheriff Dept. They were taking tickets and escorting to seats in the stadium..didnt know as a law officer, they were ticket takers as well... Great place to tailgate before hand...the mounted police in the parking lots were a bit much of over reacting...i am sure that this is a great football stadium, but concerts...total crap.!!

Attended the Bills vs. Patriots game yesterday. 1st time NFL game experience for my cousin. She is a Pats fan so she knew that there would be some rivalry and all but to have 2 men directly behind us totally drunk for the entire game and 2 women (one beside us and one in front of us) getting more drunk than the 2 men mentioned before was a lot unnerving. And the language used. I would have been removing myself and my children if I would have had them with me! Totally uncalled for! And this was mostly directed at the Bills!!!!!! And they were Bills Fans! Will not be back. Our seats were great seats but the atmosphere was horrible! Section 139 Row 22

While the Bills deserve a new stadium. The Ralph is a great place to catch a game. There is tons of cheap options for parking all around the stadium within a short walk. There are tons of vendors around the stadium where you can purchase cheap gear. The tailgating is first class best in the league. They open the practice facility and have the pre game show and set up games for kids. All around its a great place to catch a game. There isnt a bad seat in the house. PA system is outdated and they could use another big screen on the opposite side if the field. Needs to be updated in order to keep up with the rest of the league.

Expensive as all get out, from the tickets themselves, to parking to beverages, but if you go as rarely as I do (once every other year at best), definitely a worthwhile guys group outing. Should not be in the middle of a suburban field in the snow belt, but I wouldnt hold my breath on a new stadium being built downtown anytime soon. As soon as NFL players stop with the attention-seeking disrespect to America and those who fought for their freedom to choose to kneel, Ill come back to watching the games. I respect your right to do what you do, all I ask is for you to respect mine to turn the TV off.
