Hotel situated in a great location, plenty of free parking . Walking distance to many dining options , located just at the exit of the freeway . Hotel itself has a modern fresh look to it ,Including the outdoor and indoor decor . The room we did get needs some touch up from the base boards , to the mirrors that needs to be changed . The decor looks updated , just some little things that may need some repair or change . The staff was super friendly and also gave us the amazing double tree cookie . Was able to checkout later without a fee which was super nice of them . One issue I did have was that I did ask if the pool was heated and they said yes about 80 degrees . Which I thought thats great for a night swim , the pool was not heated and jacuzzi had way to much chlorine. Our eyes were burning from the smell of the chlorine , so we did not end up enjoying any jacuzzi or pool time . We were not the only guest who also thought the pool was not warm enough, they also had to leave since the jacuzzi was to harsh for them as well . Was a bit disappointed since I purposely had my niece come join us , so she can have a good stay and relax . And since it was her first hotel stay , she was excited to use the pool . Hopefully next time we would have a better experience with the pool .

The hotel lobby looks nice, staff are friendly and welcoming, we were upgraded to suite but its a total bad experience with the room. The first suite we had has no hot water, we had to change to another suite, the second one has hot water but the shower is.... hilarious, we were laughing while showering. Theres no shower curtain, no handheld shower head, water can only come out from the rainshower above head, which was fine. The hilarious part is when we turn on the shower overhead, its spilling all over the bathroom, literally all over. Not just the bathroom, the couch outside of the bathroom was wet too cause theres no full cover in between bathroom and couch. After we both took shower, the bathroom looks like been through flood. And the wall, the bed frame were all soaked, we can see waterdrop on them. The room itself still look nice and they keep it clean, and the amenities are good. But shower/bathroom was poor designed.

Made a reservation on this hotel even though we were kinda far from our actual destination (20-30 mins drive to Universal Studios, Hollywood) based solely on its decent price in accoridance to the reviews and the photos at the time of booking. I must say we were pleasantly surprise of how nice this hotel is, Love the very modern look from the lobby all the way to our room! Staff were great and our kids enjoyed their complimentary freshly baked chocolate chip cookie at time of check in and check out. One of the nicest thing we really appreciated was how close it was to everything in the area. I mean there were lots of restaurants to choose from within a walking distance such as Red Lobster which sits right next to the hotel. In addition, it is right off the 210 exit freeway. Love this hotel and we would consider this place again next time we visit LA.

In 2016, I spent 10 days at this hotel. Its rooms have a modern updated feel, but the carpet in much of the building is worn. The paint in the hallways of the rooms is dark brown, which makes the overall feel somewhat cramped and adds to the feeling of disrepair. The cleaning service in my experience was excellent. The room always smelled and looked fresh and clean each day when I returned. In my opinion, the beds are above average in comfort and quality, though they are low to the ground. The breakfast buffet is above average with a cook that will make omelets and such upon request. The dining options are many and varied - all within walking distance. Locals call the street this hotel is located on Restaurant Row.

I went to Santa Anita Race Track and stayed at this hotel for a couple of days. I thought the service was excellent and I have no complaints. Of course offering me more warm chocolate chip cookies on departure probably softened me up a bit. As others have warned, the beds are very low so some seniors may have difficulty getting out of the bed. The room was very clean, quiet and overall very pleasant. I purchased the buffet breakfast for $10 at check-in and was pleasantly surprised with a breakfast selection and an omelet bar. Only a few minor complaints like no alarm clock and a confusing phone system but I dont use those anyway. I would definitely recommend this hotel and plan to visit again.

Stayed one night at this hotel during the week for a work meeting. The arrival service was great I pre checked on my phone and was up into my room within minutes of arriving. The free cookie was nice but I am not a fan of the cookie provided I would have preferred simple chocolate chip. The room I reserved was the one with the infinity shower/tub which turns out was a horrible design. Taking a shower I splashed water into the rest of the bathroom and it become soaked within seconds. I fear that those bathrooms build mold up and that makes me nervous to book this hotel again. Especially for the fact that this was an update to the typical room very dissapointed in this hotel experience of the room.

This is a beautiful hotel with friendly guests and staff alike. Right next to the 210, tons of good eats easily within walking distance. The main reason I stay at the hotel is for the deals they have with the local Renaissance Faire. This year, things have started to change. They no longer have ticket deals with the fair, just shuttle service, they dont serve alcohol until noon (Whats a breakfast without Mimosas and Bloody Marys?), and they got rid of the Kobe burger. Small complaints, but significant enough for me to look for another hotel for my Ren Faire lodgings. This is always my first pick hotel, I just want the best deals when its Ren Faire season, which is already expensive enough.

PROS: Location: Adjacent to many restaurants and eateries. Plenty of parking. Room: Room is filled with form and function.Modem design. Comfortable bed. Great sheets. (No nasty bedspread). Lots of technology. Microwave, coffee maker, fridge, IPhone dock, cordless phone and nice TV on a full 180° articulating arm. Great to watch TV from the soaking tub. Staff: Friendly helpful. Pool: Modern looking pool. Store: Well stocked with almost anything I would need. Did not try bar/restaurant. But I looked fancy. Cons: Jets did not work on the hot tub. The rain shower head needs to be decalcified. When on about 30% of the water sprayed outside the tube.
