Hours are getting better. Tuesday and Thursday open at 6:00 am. for the early risers who are tough and hardy. I was told that this is a trial run, so call or go online to see if there are any changes. Swimming lessons are also provided, which is a great community plus! For those of us who swim weekly, keeping track of changes of schedule, due to swim lessons is a must. Nothing worse than getting there to find the pool closed till swim lessons are done. The childrens section, including a great slide, enables parents to introduce their little ones to water activities in a very fun way. Parents can take turns swimming laps while their children enjoy their amenities. A sauna and steam room are available as another healthy addition to the complex. Yes, there is a workout area (which overlooks the pool). You wont find the over-the-top fitness center here, but if you are looking for a place to get yourself moving and enjoy low pressure, our very local aquatic center is a fitting place to start.

I have been going to this pool for over two years now and I havent found anything else comparable in the area. The prices are also very reasonable. Pool has 5 x 25 meter lap lanes, a two lane wide idling area, a very large kids area and a water slide. The mens locker room also has a sauna and steam room. It is open year round and the hours are decent. It tends to be pretty crowded but not overly so. There is also a small gym but no free weights or treadmills. All ellipticals and machines. Make sure to bring quarters for the lockers.

Great place to bike, walk, jog, etc. There are basketball hoops and soccer and football fields there. There is a track and there are all revelatively close from each other. There are playground and a good place to bring kids. I go biking there weekly. There are hills to ride down with your bike so that can act like a ramp. There is also a place to swim there for an inexpensive price if youre an resident, if not more moderate as you must pay $14:00. Overall, the place was good.

Why "only residents north of Jericho Tpke????" Why? This is discriminatory and unfair, when everybody pays the admission. We are not in the same country? On Broadway Shows, are not admitted the foreigners because they did not pay the taxes for Manhattan? The same thing...

Great people working there, very nice and informative. Nice clean pool, track and field. Nasty public bathrooms, they stink so bad you rush to get out. They look unmaintained. If the public bathrooms were more like the bathrooms inside where the pool is 5 stars!

Can get moderately crowded. Facilities are great for what you pay for. The place is starting to get worn out. Pool is good but the lap swim area can get crowded at times. The parking lot needs a lot of work but plenty of space. Not a lot of shade outside.

Rumor has it that the park was built on top of a landfill. The entire park is dilapidated. Everything from the parking lot to the baseball field is uneven. Its probably due to the "foundation" settling.
