I have to agree with the person who posted about them cheating people. The state should look into their gambling practices. Plus you give them more money for chips and they have no record of it. They know if you win but why arent they keeping track of your loses. Seems very fishy that you can spend $500 bucks at a black jack table and you see them punching something in on their computers but they dont show you lost that money.

Stay away from this place. They are cheating people on the blackjack tables. Just walk in and ask why there arent people playing at the tables. You will never win here. They have their shuffler machines set up to stack the deck. You will have to take a hit every time to try and make a hand. While the dealer is sitting on 20 most of the time. Dont believe me, give it a shot and see how many hands you lose.

Not sure why people are saying they are cheating on the blackjack tables. Even if the machine is setting up the deck. That would change based on how many people are playing and where the deck gets split. Its called gambling not winning.... I play here often and win or lose I enjoy my time spent playing here. Just a cause you lost does not deserve a poor review. Just my 2 cents Best of luck

This place is the worst. I have never felt so cheated. We were playing on their black jack table and my friends and I were getting beat every time. We had to take a hit on every hand while the dealer had 20s all the time. That wasnt the worst possible part the dealer kept rubbing it in our faces. Its bad enough you are losing but to be treated like that is unprofessional.

I have gone a few times to play craps and roulette. I have won some times and lost some. Its a nice mellow place, clean, and has the lowest table minimums in town. While Ameristar tables are 15 min bets the Gilpin is only 5 bucks min....one Tuesday night I found 2 dollar craps and roulette. 2 bucks thats insane! I always go there first.

Had a fun time at the Gilpin, played the penny machines while enjoying the football game. They have a free beverage bar, and if you get hungry they have a hot dog station and the hot-dogs are at a very reasonable price. The staff was nice and the casino was very clean, most definitely will be back:)

Absolute worst casino I have ever visited in Blackhawk the customer service was so terrible I left before I even got to try a machine. I will never step a foot in here again and definitely do not recommend it much better options less than 5 min away

Terrible service, we had gone up to the bar to PURCHASE drinks because their cocktail waitress were no where to be found. When we were waiting for the bartender he was rude and told us we need to wait for our cocktail waitress and did not serve us!

Slots were so tight I lost all my money without any decent wins. Notmally I am able to play for awhilevwith small jackpot wins but I was going 15 to 20 spins with nothing more than a 20 cent win on a recent game. Used to love your place.
