Lost Tape

All of their slots are set at very low payouts, at around 90% or 89% (one attendant acted like this was "high" or "normal", but its not -- anything below about 95% is bad). I rarely see anyone win. Ive played Dragons Gold and put in $200 and literally nothing hit, let alone a bonus. The Lightning bank of machines are set at 89% and boy do they suck money away fast! Its clear other casinos in town have higher payouts on the slots. I hope suckers wake up and stop giving this casino money so easily. Their comps and free play is just "OK". Very friendly staff, but theres just no reason to waste money on their LOW PAYING slots. They also set jackpots very low, around $300 on most machines, and make a big "to do" about you winning anything around that amount -- but usually you are just winning back a little bit of what you have LOST. This review applies to Brass Ass, Midnight Rose and McGills, since they are all owned by the same greedy company.

My stay was great! Loved the fact of not having to drive home after a few hours of gambling. The room was very tidy however, the bed lamp never did work, and at checkout we did let the front desk person know, but she just kind of pushed it off as a -- Mm ok, thanks bye. The key cards were another fiasco lol. My husband booked the room for us and our daughter. She went to the room earlier than we did, we gambled until 2:00am. When we came back our card reader didnt let us in, blinked yellow. Had to wake our daughter. Checked her card reader before we went to move the vehicle, it worked. We came back and it also didnt work. Went to front desk and come to find out the slot machines de magnatize the key cards. It would be beneficial for front desk to tell future guests.

Service was very friendly, a little slow because of the small staff. I got the salmon and it was good, maybe a little tough. The butter was good. The vegetables were just cooked/steamed. No flavor. The rice pilaf was good but seemed like something you could make from a box. It was about as I expected from a restaurant in a little casino. My boyfriend had a burger and said it was tasty. They have their own type of fries called sidewinders that were like the child or curly fries and wedges and they were good.

We are not gamblers but come to Triple Crown Casino -(Midnight Rose, Brass Ass, McGils) often for music festivals. Nick P. does a ton of work to put out entertainment for non gamblers. He lives to see that people are smiling and having fun. Hotels are great, clean, and youll get a great nights rest in their comfy beds. Thank you Nick and Tripple Crown Casinos as usual we will be back! PS Fantastic July 4th on the 1st celebration! Kids loved the fireworks show.

Everyone besides the dealers were disrespectful. A small group of friends and I came with a great attitude ready to take part in a few of the activities available. EVERY time an employee walked by, they condescendingly asked what we were doing there and would not respond to what we said without seeing our IDs. One employee specifically said "Oh, these kids again" We were all of age and did not respect any employees of the establishment.

Tight Tight Tight slots. Left there feeling like I was screwed. Wasnt even fun. Machines just suck the money right out of you. Yah i could have got up and left. But I dont go to casinos to bounce around. A good casino lets you win and lose for a long period of time. Not just take it from you. Go to the Wildwood Casino and play for hours.

The food service was bad along with the food, and the customer service was very poor, l went to the customer service desk to ask where the restrooms are, and as I aproched some women about bit my head off when she said "WE ARE CLOSED ", as she turned and walked off, Not even giving me a chance to ask.

Man..we used to come up and get the buffet often...we will be no longer doing that as the crab legs were refrigerator cold and we paid 27 dollars each when we used to only pay 20...the staff was just lounging around and talking to eachother and playing games. Not impressed place is going down the drain.

I tried in vain to simply get a room rates here and it was as confusing as trying to figure our what the Hotel is called. Never stayed here and never will thanks to the confusing process involved. No Midnight Rose, myself and my 2,000 friends will be ignoring you this summer, you blew it.

I took my wife up to Cripple Creek for the weekend. First place we stopped was Midnight Rose. I had a great time playing the slots and ended up staying for quite a while. The drinks were excellent as was the service. The property was in great condition and clean. I will definitely be back.

Lost $2500 in about 25 minutes playing Ultimate X video poker. Bad experience, tight video poker machines that seem to "cycle" -- I noticed I went through hundreds of bad hands in a row. Probably rigged or set for low payback. Not fun. Shouldnt lose that much, that quick. Wont be back.

Decent place to stay for the money. For the most part it was a quiet room. Neighboring rooms lacked common courtesy with slamming the doors at 3:00 am but no other issues for the 2 nights we stayed there. Even won a little bit of money playing the penny slots.

I was treated rudely by a loud mouthed, unprofessional dumb blond woman at the "players club" desk. I suspect she was a bigot as she was not as bad with the other patrons. I would not come back to this dump if they paid me. Would definitely not recommend.

The midnight rose is a nice laid back casino. the hotel staff were amazing and helped us out when we couldnt get the room we wanted they did there best to accommodate the room we could get. I highly recommend both its hotel and casino

The odd juxtaposition of neon lit one arm bandits and old west town gave it a dystopic scifi feel to it. Midnight Rose is clean and pleasant with drinks that will slake your thirst and provide a couple hours of distraction.

Has a parking garage attached to the building so you ever have to walk out in the weather. Finding someone to get you a drink took some time but once they were aware you needed something, it didnt take long to receive.

Ive never checked the place in detail but they have some pretty good games and an amazing buffet. All in all an awesome adult arcade. It wouldnt hurt to bring ear plugs with you though as it is rather loud inside.

Was an amazing place to go for the evening. The Waitresses always make sure you have a drink in your hand the food is delicious and they are more than enough slot machines to keep a person entertained all night

Went for my dads birthday. They had a birthday event for the month of July. Lots of food and free beer and wine. Many birthday people got credit to use at the casino and the oldest and youngest got free rooms.
