This was the best casino hotel Ive been to where everybody was polite and my room was made, even though I left all my clothes laying around. House keeping is awesome here. The only issue I had was I took my kids to the pool and let them play in the kitty pool, my kids are three and two, and there were some big kids that were in the kitty area kinda bulldozing all the toddlers over, my two year old got pushed down the slide (possibly on accident) and hit his nose to where we had to rush out of the pool area and contact security where we received really good medical help. Friendly staff, not so friendly other guests though, the mother of the child came yelled at us because we seeked medical attention for our child and didnt find her first to tell her the situation, and to top it off, we werent worried about getting the other kid out of the pool but the security guard asked us to point out the other child so he could let them know to stay out of the kitty area so the same thing wouldnt happen to other toddlers, so we did and aperrantly according to the other parent I was suppose to look for her first while my toddler is bleeding from his nose to where it looked like it was broken before seeking help for my child. I wasnt worried about the other kid, I was more worried about my baby being okay after that nasty fall down the waterslide. My only suggestion is put a age limit on the kitty area so other babies dont get hurt like my poor little guy did, and if there is already an age limit there have security do a walk through every 15 minutes or so. Great mini vacation and will recommend to anyone who is looking for a little get away.

We went strictly for crab night, we didnt gamble or stay over. These folks make THE best crab legs. You cant get them better anywhere else. And its so reasonable! Where else can you eat AYCE crab legs for under $30? Insane. Not only is the crab awesome, theres a huge selection of other foods so if you have someone that doesnt love crab, theyll find plenty more to choose from. And the dessert assortment is crazy too. The best dessert they have is a cheesecake with fruit on top. The kids really liked the soft serve but we could have eaten that cheesecake all night. In addition to the great food, the table service was excellent too. Now, keep in mind this place is absolutely packed on crab night. Youll wait anywhere from 15 mins to 45 depending when you show up, but once you get seated, the servers are very good about refilling beverages, getting extra napkins, trading out the crab bowls, etc. Treat them right, theyre expected to do an impossible job on crab night. What a great experience. Its why we keep going back.

Customer Service completely lacking. We were in the RV area. Arrived late, was told not an hour before arriving what our site was only to find when we arrived another camper in that spot. Somehow the same lady who gave us our site number had let them into it earlier. Offered her the players card which we had stopped and gotten to receive the discount in the RV park, she said she didnt need and would look it up. Nope, she couldnt find it and we couldnt find her desk inside the casino (not out in the park) so she said to come the next day and we would take care of it. We went the following day, she then informs us that it had to be completed the night before and she can not run a credit. Spoke with a manager who seemed completely uninterested in the situation and would not even offer any type of compensation. We have been to other casinos with RV parks, never this lack of concern for the customer. Nice RV park but completely terrible management!

We visited Jackpot Junction a couple of weeks ago for a quick "Weekend Getaway" from the Twin Cities. This was a great place to go to get out of the "Hustle and Bustle" of the metro. Its an easy and short drive. The casino staff was very friendly, and they have a lot of the fun classic games you will not find anywhere else. (Such as Mystic Lake). However, if you are an asthmatic, such as myself, remember your inhalers before you drive on down. One of the worst air-handlers I have experienced of late. Gamble in the early morning if you can, before all the smokers awake. By mid-day and almost all evening, the smoke in this place is virtually unbearable.

Not at all impressed. We went primarily for golf and the Decotah Ridge Golf Course is very nice. Great layout, excellent fairways and greens. Too bad they dont have a decent place to stay. Our room at Jackpot was dark and small in every respect. The halls smelled musty. Not even a chair to sit in to read or relax. Lighting was terrible, lamps with very low voltage and too low to read anyway. The WIFI is a joke, if WIFI was as weak everywhere we would go back to snailmail. If you need to gamble I suppose it gets by, but for staying as a non-gambler next time I would look for something like a Comfort Inn as an upgrade. Russ

We usually have good time here, but this last time we waited a long time to check in and I have a newborn and a 6 year old! Other people got their rooms but somehow we couldnt get ours?? We waited in the lobby from 9am to 4pm. The to top it off.. on check out day somehow our room got put on the "checked out" list and 2 times our room got opened to be cleaned while we were still in there. Second time it was a man and he walked in on me while I was changing! The front desk lady was rude the whole time we were talking to her about the situation. Itll be a long while before we go back... if we do.

Decided to stop in on our way through, what a mistake. Only thing we wanted to do, play blackjack. 1 table open and it was $3, with players staying on soft 15 against paint. Asked the pit if another table could be opened, wasnt picky with table minimum. Pit boss said we should have called ahead, they sent dealers home. Well have another dealer in 4 hours is the only option. What kind of casino cant find a dealer for a second table? They didnt even have a table open in high stakes. At least we know well be saving money traveling through Morton in the future. Sorrowful, Sad Traveler
