Awesome Place!! Newly Remodeled... My complaint about most theater experiences is that the audio is never right (during dialogue you can hear other peoples eating even if theyre 5 or 6 rows away), the auditoriums here are smaller than usual and maybe thats why their sound is always on point. The staff is friendly and always smiling. Gave it 4 stars because they dont have student rates (which other theaters, like camera 12 downtown,offer), although they almost make up for it with terrific tuesdays and matinee prices

Small neighborhood cinema, but with multiple screens (smallish theaters). People are friendly. Popcorn is great. Good selection of treats. Good pricing with matinée pricing later than many cinemas and senior pricing starting at a younger age than most. Friendly staff. As with many cinemas, theyve gone to a self-service model on popcorn topping and drinks. That makes it more complicated to get "butter in the middle". And, it always seems like Im stuck behind someone mystified by the drink dispenser.

This is a movie theatre that you go to when you want to just see a movie and dont care about the ambiance. The people are friendly but the theaters are small. I know that they are making changes and I will go back to see if their is any improvement. However, if you are going to see a movie and you want to be comfortable and really feel like you are "in the movie" I would not suggest you go here.

It is the only theater I can afford to take my son and a couple of his friends to. The new stadium style seats and cool lighting make this theater comparable in experience to larger theaters. They are almost entirely done with renovations. I continue to enjoy the friendly staff and great coupon deals they offer through their website. So glad to see this little theater stay in our community

Opening day movies at a much more affordable price! This theater always seems to have a line-up of first run movies which combined with the $6 matinee price (any movie starting before 6pm) makes for a winner. The larger theater has pretty nice seating as well. Im told some of the smaller ones are not as nice but Ive not been in one yet. Ill be trying this one from now on.

I started going to movies again. The almaden plaze place has very reasonable prices, so much so you have money left over to buy popcorn n sodas. You gotta go to terrific Tuesdays! The best deals in town. Now they have modernize the theaters. Wow. So beautiful now. They have a sister theater in Fremont in Pacific commons. Just go you wont regret it.

Nice little place. Good prices. Serves food and beer. Theaters are small, about 5 rows going back and 3 front. 7.1 surround sound, solid output. Picture quality was good. The place itself and hallways are definitely not "top of the line" but its relatively well maintained and does exactly what you need it to which is show movies.

Great place.. Just Newly renovate Theaters. Comfortable chairs, now serving 7 kinds beers. Tuesday is the best $6.00 movies all Day. Cant believe and Beats All the other theaters AMC theaters, Cinemark theaters at $11.50 per Movie not including popcorn and soda etc. I would truly Recommend them to everyone who needs a move date.

Only reason I give this five is for the prices... THE PRICES OMG :) Really cheap, its been renovated pretty well, and there is really no difference in movie quality, resolution, sound, etc... All around a great cheap alternative to the ridiculous average of 11-15$ a ticket. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Been to this theater umpteen number of times. I didnt face any issues with the seating and services there. Bevy of options to choose food and drinks from. There is also burger king next door. Make sure you either book ticket online to avoid any last minute rush. Prices are very hard to beat.

I always try to support local movie theatres, but the CineLux in Almaden makes it very easy - especially after their big 2015 renovation. Decent prices - especially during the weeks pre 5pm, capacious, comfy seats. Lots of smaller screens so that there is always a choice.

Great matinee prices, crazy Tuesdays are awesome for large families. The employees are pleasant and engaging. I take the family here as often as I can despite that there are two closer theaters to our home. I cant wait to see this place after the remodel. Two thumbs up.

A truly enjoyable experience me and my two children always have a good time however now with the new Lounge our enjoyment level has been multiplied. What the Almaden Cinema lacks in size more than makes up for it in the pleasant family friendly environment.

The best little theater in town. The parking is never easy but they show all the first run movies, they just went through an extensive remodel, and the seating is top notch. This is the movie theater i check first whenever im looking to go see a flick.

Small Theaters inside.. Not new and spectacular but the popcorn is good, they serve beer and all other amenities that expect out of a movie theater. They hosted my brothers documentary film Fallen which I thought was pretty cool. Thanks Cinelux !!

The lobby area has a lot of potential. However, the line to buy your popcorn and drinks seems to be set up backwards. Why is the register the first thing you come to shouldnt it be the last thing you go to after you get what you need at the counter?

Fresh theater; love the renovations over the last couple of years! So happy that theyre in the neighborhood. Now they have both wine and beer on tap, as well as real dining choices. Cmon reviewers; keep up with all the great improvements here!

This feels like a family-owned movie theatre. The staff are nice and friendly, ticket prices are lower than the big chains, and although the theatre isnt stadium seating or the newest chairs, its comfortable enough for an afternoon matinee.

5 stars for what it is : a smaller and therefore cheaper cinema. Watched Start Wars for $5 in this clean cinema with its comfortable seats and... they serve craft beers. Not bad.

Great place to watch movies and cheap too!However the one complaint i have is that if they could upgrade theaters 3-6s chairs to the leather chairs if they did i would rate 5!
