Nice campground. Fun for every holiday. Several showers but needs a good scrubbing. On-grounds store. Several activities. Very first rv campground experience. We was visiting Michigan for 2 weeks but ended up staying 7mos because our Class A broke down as soon as we got to Ann Arbor. We had to be towed to Detroit Greenfield RV Resort. My wife only knew her dad there, whom we came to let the children spend time with between his busy work schedule, and I knew no one in Michigan period. We asked around to get referrals on mechanics and engines and nothing. No one there knew nothing and that kept us there longer then planned. We had just purchased the rv and had the engine rebuilt. They didnt check the piston so the engine caught fire from Las Vegas to Michigan in Missouri. We found an engine in Missouri and had the mechanic at the truck stop in Cuba, Missouri to put it in. He laid the exhaust pipe on the oil pan which cooked the oil and froze the engine as we made it to Ann Arbor. Before coming into the rv lifestyle we did much research on campgrounds and everyone always said how helpful and nice people are at campgrounds. This campground couldnt provide us with information to get our rv repaired so we could continue our journey much sooner. We found business cards of a mobile mechanic in the office as we needed other things done after we was there 5 mos and no one told us about him when we offered to pay others who did work on theirs and others rvs and was told they wont be free until the end of summer. That mobile mechanic; although, he didnt repair engines, helped us out on several other issues we had living full-time in our rv. We knew nothing about rvs nor camping and had much to learn, when we made mistakes no one corrected us we just became the talk around the campground.

I am Handicap So when I called it make my reservations I asked the woman who answered that I needed a full hook up with pull Through an a wide lot with lots of shade. She said that she could get me in. She asked if this was our first time camping here and I told her yes it was, We met you at the Camping RV show and wanted to try a New RV resort. I then asked her if they have handicapped Showers and Bathrooms and she said yes we do. The day we arrived our site on Gasoline site 383 was so narrow it was hard to get into we were afraid we might not be able to put out our 16 foot slide out. We finally got into the spot and hooked up to everything & realize we had no room for the awning to open. Five feet from our door is the Electrical and Sewage hookup for the site next to us. It was a Quiet place with very nice campers, except for the total lies to get us there and I didnt know until the next day when I wanted to shower and then checked the mens room and found no evidence of a handicapped Facility. By then it was too late to make other arrangements. She filled her park with a lot of unknowingly Campers as the one elderly woman asked me if I knew where the handicap restroom was and she was pretty upset when I told her they dont have any. Please say away over priced and full of lies found out they used to be KOA and lost due to the poor up keep. SO RUN AND DONT LOOK BACK

Aweful! I made reservations the day they opened for this season. I wanted to be on the lake and next to my mother in law so I planned for it early. We went for Mothers Day weekend and checked out our other spots for the next trips planned and all the spots where too small. We went directly to the office to get it figured out and they said because they are full theres nothing they could do for us. The owner came in and said he cant do anything for us and hell refund us our money. We asked if he could call someone with a smaller unit to see if they would switch and he wouldnt do that he said that causes too much chaos. (Im not sure how that causes chaos) Weve camped there before and they had our camper size in the computer and I even had to tell them the size when making these reservations . The paperwork from Mothers Day weekend even had the correct size on the paperwork... I dont think its rite that I called 7 months ahead of time for the big holiday trip and now we dont have a spot. We took a video of how rude the owner was and he said if we post it hes going to sue us and he called the cops. The owner threaten my husband and wasnt willing to fix their mistake at all. So sad theres a owner of a campground out there like this.

Buyer beware! I physically stopped in, checked it out, and made reservations for the following wk for my daughters birthday. A teenager was at the desk. I had to ask for a confirmation number for my reservation after they took money for a $50 security deposit upfront for the cabin and $25 for the tent site. At no time was I told that I couldnt get my money back because I was booking a wk before! I went online to look up the number for the place and saw a 3 day notice so called to cancel, explaining storms were forcasted but that it was only because I didnt want to loose my deposit and I would like to still book if the storms cleared. I was told last wk the campground is empty. The man was rude. Told me I couldnt get my deposit. That I had to of cancelled 14 days in advance and that the full policy is online!? I just booked it! Sad way to treat local customers.

Its ok. We werent really impressed. Initially when we got here our site was as tight as a sardine. They did correct but werent overly nice about it. We asked for water view but they said they were already reserved, but the entire 5 days we were here no one came. The campground workers dont clean up the sites after people leave. Our fire pit was filled with cigarette butts. Our site ended up being a nice size. No pool, but they do have a lake but its rocky and more dirt than sand. The kids like the slides. Playground is nice. It is wooded so provides a lot of shade, however drivers find it difficult to maneuver rigs amongst the trees. Grounds and sites could use some clean up. Going to look for a different campground next year.

The campground was OK. Check in was an entirely different matter. The people that were assign to the lot before us were 1 1/2 hours late checking out. We were not offered another lot until we demanded one. We were told those before us thought the check out was 3:00 instead of 12:00. Give me a break. No camper thinks check out is 3:00. Even when the people finally arrived, they were in no hurry to pack up. In fact they seemed to take longer than normal. When we went to the office to complain we were told the same misunderstanding about check out times. This whole thing could have been allieviated by offering us a different campsite. Wont be staying at this campground again.
