I think most local San Diego casinos still cant figure out why we play, its not to win. Its not the money, well sure it is, but for me it is much more. See Im.a player. High roller slot tournament champion since way back, I play because I like the games. I enjoy the machines, I like to.feel.the lever click in my hand and the noises sound.off.as I hit another jackpot, maybe it is the chase, I like to.figure out games, get hits I rarely get, figure out the line payouts and develop my own strategy in my own and other peoples gameplay. I demand so much perfection from casinos.because they have the money to. , Im.usually never like this but I demand soo much from my casinos. I sometimes wish I.could mix all the good aspects of every San.Diego casino and have my own playground. Traveling again from Harrah s to Paula to pauma again yesterday I see I,improvements but still I see huge gaps and room.for restructuring things for the benefit of the player having a more.enjoyable experience, Update, July 2017 , Fix all.slot handles Update cafe seating area cut cafe in half and make new place to eat. Light up entrance behind gas station up from both sides of the road at night u cannot see it still, its dangerous. Entrance left side by high limit is still it.slowest no mans land. Ur tables in the middle slow traffic still and the car slowly traffic. Rearrange it better. Lit up lane markers would be.nice. also.arrows.up the ramp to the.top garage parking to encourage parking there instead of the lot. There are.no shirts for men in large or x large, just the.color purpl End update Been a fan for a bit, serious megabucks tournament champion kinda on my little 2017 heros tour, letting the fans see me live in all San Diego Casinos. So I get around. Viejas yesterday, Pachanga four days ago, Im always hitting up spots. So I know whats good and what is bad. I rate them all from dining to gameplay to machines to service, parking, people, perks, comps etc. Nice spot quick ride from that 760 78.. Ive been taking the pala rd out there since I was hanging with Paula elders, when pauma was just a tent, so the area and the development has been very close to heart. Today playing high limit and other machines idk the air was too dry and just. Ruined my throat and lips were weirdly dry, but the thing is the whole casino was effected, I counted 67 people having trouble with dry lips, throat, something to do with the ventilation system not working right, idk get your act together, 6 hours then 7 hours in tournament practice Im running for drinks, Im sweating, Im feeling weak. In the middle by the tables its nice but u know pachanga is a few degrees colder. Be sure.to check your scrubbers, cuz u cannot recycle casino air so easy. Problem. Two. Where the drinks at? Can I get. A coke, glasses? You know what your response time is on a service call. I know.because if I want a drink I need to pre plan like 34 minutes in.advance.. that is just. To talk to a hostess, they come back quick that is not the issue its finding them. Your times today were 23,19,45,32,9 minutes from pressing the button untill I had someone ask me my order., Problem 2 , the new glasses, where do u put them down, they fall over easy and that little. Straw, who is your interior design consultant because your missing the mark on that glassware choice. The food, cmon, taco trucks have a bigger selection and more flavour than what your little quaint spots have to offer, The pala shirt, make a good one so I can wear it and represent. Please fix up your logo I would make u ten shirts that I would wear quicker than the dreary 90s cop gear you carry, the hat is all floppy like Gilligan island, look at the barona hat, wow a baseball stitched pro fit, wow. They put love in the clothes and they are all practical. Get better clothes please.

I would say that this is the only casino that I had a bad experienced with the staff ,unfriendly and not accommodating compare to other casino like, San Manuel, Pechanga, Valley View, Harrahs, Barcelona etc...that I went too. This casino has this mentality that if you dont have money you dont need to be here in Pala specially in their High Limit Staff. They will look at you from head to foot if you dont play and look around to analyze if you have money to play with. Then, if you play and show that you can afford playing their High Limit machine then, they will give you smile and be accommodating. This was not happen to me with other casinos that I mentioned even with or without money you will never have this experience with them only in PALA and this was confirmed by one of the staff that Ive talked to and according to her this is usually the comment of the people who visited this casino. The only good part on this casino that you wont find on the casino that i mentioned is their beverages is open to the public, is like self your serve and drink all you can and they have cellphone charging station but only in their high limit and hotel lobby. I wont recommend this for your weekend get away or vacation because its not gonna worth you money especially if you lose so much and the only thing that makes you go back in a place youve been to if the staff makes you feel welcome with or without $$$, High Limit Staff are only nice with those people that they knew constantly play but for new ones you need to show them that you belong to that level. I almost forgot, also the difference on this casino is you cant enter without a valid ID. if so happen that your ID is expired they will confiscate which happened to one of the person that I ve talked to and complaining about this casino and Im about to leave in the door way I saw this staff holding one of the visitors and holding the passport and checking if the passport is valid, Is like airport. Please note PALA people you are the best casino in CA to do this thing and remember these people lose their money for your advantage and one big consideration is feel them welcome and dont be like immigration or airport staff. WOW!!! This casino is SUCKS!!! Please post your bad experiences with this casino so people will know that they favor only those high roller customers.

Approximately 3:00am Saturday, August 21, 2010 I was playing a $1 slot at Pala casino. I hit the bonus on the machine and the numbers above began to alternate, eventually to land on what my bonus would be. As they were flashing on and off, everything on the machine went black and it stopped. Some casino employees in burgundy uniforms walked by and I called them over. They said they did not know what to do, I think they were employees that worked someplace other that the floor. Then the machine came back on and began to vibrate then the wheels rolled. The wheels vibrated and rolled about 3 times. I had thought I a jackpot at first. I did not think much about it. I decided to cash the money and decided I would put another $100 in but was only going to play $50. I put the money in, it did not take it the first time so I put it in again. This time it took the money and started to do something, make some noise. However, the 100 credits never came up. I stood up and tried to find an employee to help. Eventually, a lady walked up who called an attendant who opened the machine. He called another employee, Nicole Silvestre. She took my ID and left and came back a few minutes later. She said there was nothing they could do because it did not look like I had put any money in the machine. I told her that was impossible because I did put money in the machine. She called Justin Hardin to the area. I explained to him what had happened. When I told him about the wheels spinning and vibrating he said that was unusual that the machine reset itself. I think it was that resetting of itself that has caused this in-ability to recognize the amount of money in the machine. When the first man opened the machine he wrote something down then reset the machine. I want to know what he wrote down. Secondly why wouldnt they review the video tapes. If they keep my money thay are crooks and I will never go there again!!!
