Let me just say first... reclining seats!! I wanted to find a theater that has one thats not too overpriced, and this was it. We watched Jurassic World here in 3-D. It was around 16-17 per ticket. The glasses are the ones that are in blue and red, and it felt really weird at first when they were playing the trailers because it didnt look 3d. At first, we thought they were trying to jip us, but when they turned off the rest of the lights, everything was ok. I love how the seats recline electronically. You push a button and it slowly reclines back. Pretty awesome. And each seat has a small table in front for your to put your stuff. Plenty of leg room. They are still undergoing renovation, but so far so good! I had a good time here.

Two 13 year olds attended an afternoon viewing of Pixar at Newport Big 6 and towards the end a middle aged man started smoking something that "smelled strange" and then left early. I seated the boys but did not stay, and only found out about this later. I wanted to call Newport Big 6 or email but finding a number (that puts me through to a person) or email address has been hard work. Love the cinema generally, but disappointed that it is so hard to contact direct about something I consider concerning. I will visit the cinema personally to report this, in the meantime parents may want to exercise caution when sending their kids to the cinema alone.

Love, love, love the newly remodeled theaters!!! So comfortable and beautiful. No more feet on the back of seats or people grabbing the back of your seat walking to their seat.............thats history. This theater is designed so well. And, much easier for wheelchair or disabled theater goers to navigate. The leather over-sized seats appear so much cleaner than the fabric seats and they recline. No more popcorn in your lap, they have practical trays for that. Well done!

They have the most comfortable chairs Ive ever sat in at a theater. I like that they recline into a bed and they have nice big trays attached to the seat to put your food on. My only complaint is that they need another food area. The theater is split into 2 buildings and theres only one food area so the line is super long and far away if your in the other building. Other than that its defiently one of the nicest theaters in the area.

Very racist environment I read other post & forums about how racist the New Port Edwards thearte was and they told me to go to the other thearte that is across the Fashion Island Mall And I didnt believe it at first, until I received the racism in person. Very pitiful that such a happy environment is filled with hatered I demanded my money back what ever movie I saw that afternoon. And oh yeah, the place had a stange smell.

I really like this theatre since the remodel. The The mew RPX screen and the super comfortable reclining seats along with the addition of assigned seating has made this theatre our go to spot for big movie releases. Regal has fully embraced hi-tech solutions like Atom so that you can buy your tickets on your phone and show the QR code to get in. They even have a pickup area at the counter for Atom ordered snacks.

I almost dont want to say how awesome this theatre is because then more people will come. I feel like its a secret magic awesome theatre. Its been recently upgraded and while the tickets are pricey, I frankly wont see a movie anywhere else now that I know what true delightful comfort is. The seats are huge, private and recline, and there is assigned seating. It couldnt be better.

Holy cow these seats are amazing. I really do think its worth the heafty price of admission. The seats recline and are motorized. I really really wish they served alcohol like the other upscale theater just down the road, that would make this place a luxurious (and very expensive) movie going experience.

Been going here for years. They desperately needed to upgrade their seating which they did and its a great experience. You can also reserve your seats too. Saw Star Wars The Force Awakens and it really was a fun time with family at the movies.

Easy parking and super comfy seats! Only complaints are the popcorn is consistently stale and the consession stand in the lower theater closes early so you have to go to the upper theater to buy snacks. Great size screens and friendly staff.

If a movies not showing here, I probably wont see it. Thats how much I love this place. The seats are amazing, the size is nice, and the concessions are just right. I dont need to be served a full meal in my movie, just give me popcorn!

Recently upgraded seating. This place now competes with my living room. Plenty of parking and good popcorn. We use the loyalty program and get free stuff often. Easy walk to shopping and many restaurants at Fashion Island.

The upgrade theyve made for the seats to electric recliners is great!! Could be cheaper (an AMC in La Jolla has very similar seats for their standard, cheaper price), but I guess Ill take what I can get.

Love this theater. Weve been coming here for years. They recently changed all the seats in the main theater, they are all leather power reclining and you can reserve them ahead of time. Its great!

All though its a bit more expensive, you get what you pay for. The show room is really nice. Comfy seats but the price made me think about going again and also them being understaffed.

Realitivly clean. Large plush power reclining seats with tray tables that swing out. Competitive prices. This theater does add on a $1.50 surcharge for tickets bought elswere or online.

This is our favorite movie theater. The reclining seats are awesome! Great to be able to reserve you seat and not have to worry about the movie being sold out when you get there.

Its an awesome theatre. The RPX 3D is really worth the price. For the same price as other movie theatre, you get premium seats with retractable chairs and an excellent food service

The seats in this theatre are fantastic. Cushy, roomy, and fully adjustable. I brought a pillow and didnt need it. Every seat is the best sesy on the house.

Now that theyve remodeled and you get your own couch, this is the best movie theater in Orange County. Its seriously worth the $20 per seat. Dont miss it.
