I only give Sulphur Springs one star because i grew up not far from there. Yes i grew up as a kid swimming in the actual Spring. Not the pool. The pool wasnt even there. Cold water and 2 water slides on each side of the spillway. I remember my father actually going through the spillway once. Some of my best childhood memories are from this spring and the water downstream before if makes it into the river. Anyway i understand why they closed it. However i would sign a waiver in a second for the chance to swim the spring as an adult.

One of the few HEATED public pools in Tampa, plus amenities for swimming laps, parties (reserve a veranda), kids area with zero entry, paths and walkways along the original spring and river. Year membership is cheap. Only annoying thing that occurs regularly on weekends is a young child might have an accident closing the pool for the remainder of the day so the staff can shock and treat the water to prevent spread of bacteria/disease. So if you have a party start it a little earlier, before the crowds arrive.

I went there today, the water was nice & everything, they even offer you life jackets, but one thing I did not like was all the rules " you cant jump" "you cant get on the water slide cause thats where they do swimming lessons". Like I did not pay money to swim & the kids cant even get on a damn water slide why would you have swimming lessons on days ppl want to ride the water slide?? Overall, it was okay but rather annoying with all the rules.

Nice well staffed pool with a playground and park...years ago it was free but now they charge a fee..what I like best is that the life guards evaluate each childs swimming ability..and insist that the youngest of swimmers stay within arms length of an adult.(Evan in the kitty section.) they also strive to keep horseplay to a minimum..my kids have taking swimming lessons there and one was Evan on the swimming team for a brief spell.

Terrific pool & staff. Appreciate the zero depth entry & the ADA compliance. Tiles in bathrooms are slippery. Im going to wear water shoes next time I go. Lifeguard Dakota lead a great water aerobics class. Such classes run Mon-Wed-Fri. This post addresses only 1 visit to the pool...my first visit. I will go back as often as I can.

Never been in there but heard birds and squirrels run butt naked all day. I have been hesitant to try this but I am keeping an open mind. Lots of people with clothes on playing basketball all day. Looks like fun from the street.

Love this place. Instructor Abe is so patient and kind with the kids in his weekend swim classes. You can tell he enjoys what he does and takes pride in the childrens accomplishments. My only regret is not starting sooner.

This is a great public pool. It has a childrens area, lanes for swimming, and a large water slide that is a hit with older children. Swim lessons are very resonable here and they keep the classes small.
