Went to see Todd Rundgren Saturday evening . I dont know much about his music only the hits from the 70"s like Hello its me and I saw the light . I at least expected a live band . It was Todd with a DJ and 2 back up singer/dancers . Only live music was his guitar. The acoustics were horrible , the songs I guess would be considered hard rock I didnt understand a word. Many felt the same way and walked out as I did . A few in front must have been more familiar , they seemed to enjoy themselves. As for the Music Hall it looks bad when the act they bring in doesnt have a live band (needed with this type of music ) being the sound was so poor . It makes one think twice about going to this venue again.

Historical concert venue in the heart of Tarrytown. The majority of their staff are volunteers who I feel like can be a bit bossy with you if they want to be, but not really a problem as long as you show respect to them. They often have big draws come to town and play here. The seats leave a little to be desired, but what do you expect when youre visiting a building that has tried to maintain the same look and feel as it did back in the 1800s? Regardless, the view of the stage is beautiful from wherever you sit in this theater.

Great place to see an event. The area where it is located, Terrytown, is quaint a bright, a very nice to place to be. The concert hall/playhouse has wonderful sound. There is not a bad seat in the house.The staff is on top of annoying flash photos from cell phones. Just a great place to enjoy whatever art they have on exhibit.

Nice town theater. It shows its age but decently maintained. They feature new and past luminaries and every now and then familiar names such as Michael Bolton and Melissa Etheridge show up on the program. Very good restaurants/bars can be found around the theater as well.

Put this place on your watch list. Theres such variety to the artists they bring in youll find something(s) youll want to see. Great sound. Fantastic old theater. Downtown Tarrytown is a gem. Go early and eat there - great restaurants and shops. And easier to park

Tarrytown is a great place to catch a show and get away from the city for a quiet afternoon also. I recently saw Josh Ritter their and it was one of the best concerts I have seen in 2013

Its always good to go to a place and listen to good music and I always sit in the orchestra because the balcony sucks for anybody with long legs. Also the volunteers treat you very well.

A treasure for westchester. When you walk in here you can feel the history of the venue come pouring through and into the acts they have. A real treat to be a part of this history.

What a great place to see a show. Reminds me of the Fillmore east. Intimate room not a bad seat in the house. A great volunteer staff. Get out and support this venue. Its worth it.

Went to see Graham Nash last night, terrific concert. Went outside to find my car and 14 others booted in the parking lot. No parking in Tarrytown. Never going back.
