Even if the movie theatre is cheap it is horrible, if I could I would give 0 stars. I arrive celebrating my 17th birthday which was a few days ago with my 18 year old brother and his 18 year old girlfriend. We get there I show them my student ID and they say it doesnt work. OK, so I try and get my brother to buy my ticket they say he has to be 21. Out comes my dad driving 20 minutes to get there only to find that he has to watch the movie to let me in. We sat there and my dad thought him being my father and also with his ID and I had my mom text me my birth certificate and they still dont let me in is unbelievable!!!! The worker was snotty the whole time never trying to help only refusing our pleas to get my 17th birthday present. Go to cinema city it is more but the price is worth it this theatre is living garbage and I cant believe the hatefulness and unwillingness to help.

We just took a bus load of students to this theater. Weve been taking them there for 10 years. The new General Manager refused to show the movie we planned to see (we took our own movie, which was in our contract). WE arrived at the theater at 9:10,. He said we couldnt see our video we brought, since we didnt arrive at 8:45. Later he changed his story to 9:00. We tried to phone when we were stuck on traffic on thr 57, but we couldnt get through. Toward the end of the movie had us watch, no choice for us, trivia and other preview type videos were playing OVER the movie he made us see.

Great affordable movies at low discount prices!!! Clean restrooms and theater. Comfortable seats. Sound quality and screen was good. Popcorn was really fresh tasting and very delicious. Newest Employees were nice and friendly recently. Free water in little water cups they provide. ************************************************************The only problem is that the manager needs to schedule periodic carpet cleaning since the carpet was full of soda spills. Carpeted hallways were nasty looking!!! Cant really complain for the price you get!!! Every thing else was excellent!!!

This theater is a good place to watch movies without going broke. For $4, you can watch a not-so-new movie that still hasnt been released to DVD/Bluray. Last Sunday, I was able to take my wife, my kids (the 1 year old was free), and my parents to see a movie and it cost us $20 for all of us. Thats a deal! Usually cheap theaters are somewhat ghetto, but the staff here do a good job of keeping it nice. Unfortunately, the cost of the food and snacks are just as costly as an AMC or Edwards, so you dont save any money there. This is a place Ill definitely keep coming back to.

Just saw a movie there. It was my first time there, but my third time watching this movie. I thought I had a great experience. However, later that evening, I realized pieces of scenes were missing. I would think that the film was edited since the first showing, but the second time I saw the film was at a different theater. Nothing online or on the phone menu mentioned an edited film. If I knew I was paying less for less of a movie, then fine, but there was no notification. Im disappointed.

Still okay. But prices went up. I was just there about a month ago... Now matinee is $4.95 and evening shot up to $6.95! They were showing Atomic Blonde... So they are current on that one. Maybe their business model changed to add one movie be current, rest are slightly older. Matinee pricing is now more attractive. I am thinking more people will start taking advantage of that. And hopefully they wont close down... They hopefully make it up in volume in matinee and food.

Used to visit this theater weekly because of the chill atmosphere and cheap prices. Recently they changed their business model to show new films instead of slightly outdated ones. It would’ve been fine if they kept the same price, but no. I’m going to miss checking their site every Wed to see what film/s they’d add for the week. I’m guessing they did because Starplex La Mirada did the same thing after being bought by AMC.

This is a really chill theatre. Waiting to see movies after they leave the big expensive theatres is fine by me. The theatre itself is nice as well. Everytime Ive been here its been clean and the staff have been friendly. They have a popcorn flavoring station. A couple all in one soda machine. Along with a small selection of beers. Ive been coming here for a couple years now and theyve not disappointed.

Old style seats . Four dollars great price , good air-conditioning. Unfortunately floors tend to be sticky . Food is okay maybe a bit cheaper than AMC . Usually clean restrooms , well supplied may depend on the weekday weekend crowd . Not visible from the street or the freeway . But the mall itself is. Plenty of parking around the theater in the mall . And huge parking structure in the rear .

This movie theater reminds me of when I was a kid, going to the movies in a great big open theater. It has that same feel as back in the 70s, though with current technological quality in the movies shown. Their popcorn is addictive and we love the Icees. The staff actually greets you enthusiastically and I truly hope they like their jobs as much as them appear to. Thanks Brea Plaza 5 people!

Best theater ever!!!! $3 for any of their movies. Great service every time I go. Very clean and nice looking place. And their refreshments are the best. Lots to choose from and lots of accommodations like all kinds of seasonings for your popcorn. Any kind of soda you would like and all the free refeals you want. Great for the hole family, dates, or solo. Highly recommended!!!

Not the best selection of films but great ticket prices always a delight to see a movie at this venue. With such cheap pricing, its easier to enjoy even a bad movie. The seating is comfortable and the screens are large enough. The theaters are clean and well maintained. The snacks are, like all theaters, higher than they should be but they have a good selection.

I have been there many times...If you dont mind waiting 3-4 weeks for a new movie, the price is right. Friendly Service, good snacks at decent prices and Clean on most occasions. Sticky floors during the later shows on the weekends. Bathrooms have always been clean. Try it, you will like it! Wish there were more theaters that catered to the family on a budget.

Great place to catch a movie thats been out but you havent seen yet. Low price. Free refills on soda since they have that coke machine that gives you every flavor. You even get a free refill on a large popcorn. I like the popcorn seasoning they offer too. A variety of flavors. I personally like the kettle seasoning. Its great!

Hidden in a business center right off the 57 in Brea. They remodeled a couple years back. Just wish they re did the seating. Very nice small showing rooms. Seats and parking fill up fast. Come early. They have a good selection of treats and fast service. Movies are pretty new too, and you really cant beat the price.

This is a dollar theater and the ratings take this into account. The place is clean, well run, and we always have a good experience there. But the best part is the refreshments. They have the drink machines that have tons and tons of flavored and they have freshly made cinnamon donuts that are amazing!
