Parking: Go up the Road and there is a giant sign that reads Malibu Safari Tours, take a right into there and you can park inside on the dirt road. My girl friends and I went on the Giraffe Tour. It came with 3 white wine and 3 red wine tastings. It also came with some delicious spreads and crackers that we devoured. The wines were good and they also let you taste the wine more than once if there is enough to go around. We got to feed the Llamas, Zebras, and other animals carrots. The celebrity and VIP of the trip was definitely Stanley the Giraffe! It was really fun feeding him lettuce and he was super friendly. His tongue touched my hand and he was so gentle and loving. Our tour guide hosts/drivers were Adam and Ben and I have to say they were very enticing and truly made our safari trip a lot more fun. They had funny jokes and comments and were very active in talking with the whole group and educating us about the Malibu Wines + Vineyards + Art pieces that were to be seen while on the tour. I defiantly can not wait to come again! It was seriously such an awesome and fun experience to have with my girlfriends!

Kind of disappointed. Tour lasted just over two hours and we only made two stops. The second stop lasted about a half hour and there was no structure - just walk around in a large grassy area. The famous giraffe they advertise is penned in a yard and the closest you get to him is about a quarter mile away (no joke)! Our driver "John" was a complete jerk. He spent the entire time lusting after one of the visitors that was in a low cut top. Then when we wanted to sample a particular wine he asked if we already sampled it. The tiny splash of wine they give you throughout the entire tour doesnt even add up to one full glass of wine ... INCREDIBLE. Our lady guide (sorry, cant remember her name) was the only bright spot. She was informative and had a smile on her face the entire time. The price is $65.00 each (and we bought 4 tickets) and you dont even get to keep the wine glass. At the end they ask for a tip and your wine glass at the same time. Pretty CHEAPO!!!

The Wine Safari was tremendous! We took the family tour, and the adventure was much appreciated by both the adults and the children in our group. While we expected the tour to be great, the experience actually exceeded expectations and was truly exceptional. The driver was super, and the guide was the best...knowledgeable, friendly, and well spoken. We were unaware that the safaris included an opportunity to feed many of the animals. Our wine and lemonade samples, along with crackers and delicious spreads, took place in an idealic area on the property overlooking a small lake . The scenery was outstanding and the wine was high quality. We also learned so much about the unique process involved in the wines produced. There is also a great gift store on the premises. What a spectacular day !! Will definitely do this again!!

Expect the unexpected. This tour was an adventure through a windy road winery with lots of animals that the tour guides let you stop to feed and pet. The tour guides were very friendly and kept the conversation flowing. They were very knowledgeable and open to all the questions we had regarding the wine process and history of the winery. The last stop at the top of the winery has a great view and very good red wines to sample. The only complaint (which is why I had to knock off a star) is for the porta potties at the start of the tour. The only bathroom available before you start the tour are 3 porta potties that are absolutely disgusting. Pee before you get here. On the plus side, the bathroom at the last stop of the tour is very clean and decorated beautifully.

Peaceful and so beautiful. Such a fun experience getting to meet and feed Stanley the Giraffe from movie "Hangover". Amazing and knowledgable guide Kurt who I cant thank enough for the epic wine tour you gave. Not only is this vast property gorgeous and filled with so many exotic animals you can pet and feed but also hosts many unique artifacts and houses a Native-American rock shelter with pictographs over 1,500 years old aka "Cave of the Four Horsemen". This alone is worth the visit as these are the most well preserved and extensive collection of pictographs by the Chumash tribe. Now for the wine.... Everything they serve is deliciously well made. Hard to choose just one. Enjoy and your is so worth it. Thank you so much .

My review would have probably been higher if I had not booked the family package. Here are the things that we liked and did not like: Likes: - beautiful place in the malibu mountains - guides were very nice and informative - kids got to feed zebras : ) Dislikes: - felt rushed, guessing it was because we were expected to stay ahead of the other group coming after us. - didnt even drive by the giraffe - not allowed to stop for pictures on the way to tasting For the price paid it just isnt worth it. We couldve use the $220.00 at a very nice restaurant with beautiful ocean views instead. I figured the kids would have a blast feeding the animals but it was not the case. That part of the tour was very short and limited.

I was stuck in some very heavy traffic off the 101. I tried calling for an hour with different numbers provided. Also left messges within the hour. No returned call or text. I was late to the office by 5 min. However gentleman behind the counter went out of his way, to drop us off at the 1st wine tasting location. Tip my hat off to ya. Staff is very knowledgeable of surroundings. I think the price is a little overwhelming. However it was my 1st Safire. Im used to the Temecula winerys.

It was extremely hot during our safari tour and I experienced discomfort from the heat. The staff (I can only remember Hollys name) were so kind and helpful and saw to it that I was hydrated and as comfortable as possible until someone could come and take me back to our car. A sincere "shout out" to the staff as well as to my daughter who treated me with such compassion and understanding.

We were deciding between universal studios, Disneyland, and Malibu wine safaris... So happy we decided on the Safari! Holly and Brett, our guides, were both personable and knowledgeable. The location is like something out of a painting! The animals were awesome and we enjoyed the wine. I would absolutely recommend the Malibu wine safari!

I use this venue for my business clients. I have been there 5 times so far. While the experience is truly great and unique, customer service is horrendous. If you ever want to change or cancel your reservation, you have to make a phone call and ...no one will ever answer.....no one will call back. I dont know what theyre thinking.

We went there this week for my boyfriends 21st birthday & we both loved it! It was relaxing and informative & very unique. The wine was great & the best part was definitely feeding all the animals. The two guys giving the tour were friendly and very funny Defiantly want to come back again with a larger group, worth every dollar!
