I did not like or expect to be bitten by bugs and then given the run around about the situation of theatre show room 12. On 9/22/15 in showroom 12. At marina pacifica of long beach. The moment I set foot into the showroom my party and I noticed a few rows taped off with caution tape. Thinking that maybe there were a few broken seats, ceiling leak or maybe these rows just werent cleaned we took a detour to seat higher than the roped off areas. A few minutes into the show I noticed my back being irritated, thinking it was just a stray hair in my shirt i ignored it, until i felt welts that seemed to be scratch marks. Upon further investigation i noticed they were bumps. I ignored it. 10-15 minutes later i became more irritated along the lower left sid of my back, i checked and it felt and looked more like bug bites. Then i felt a bug crawling along my left arm. I took a picture for evidence that it could be the culprit. We reported the incident immediately. Filled out request forms. And asked about the other incidents that caused them to actually rope off the rows of seats. They didnt give a straight answer, more on the lines of blaming the company that was responsible for ridding the infestation. We completely avoided the seats and i was still bitten. Wish i could display the pitctures of the bites and the bugs. If the caution tape was needed why would they keep this show room open, if theres a big infestation that can possibly be spread to peoples homes why leave your attendees vulnerable. AMC Marina Pacifica cares about money over attendees. We ultimately couldnt finish the movie with fear of bringing bed bugs or an infestation home to deal with.

The GM of this location Keith Davis, is an inconsiderate and uncouth individual. I purchased tickets Saturday 22nd DEC. I didnt use one and is not even torn. I went to the guest services where I met this incompetent guy. I showed him the ticket and asked for an exchange. He asked me what time I want to see the show today, and went to the register to print out the ticket. He returned back saying this cannot be redeemed. I have never heard of this before. So im out of pocket a ticket that was not used. He claims the theater could have sold this to someone else. I was in the theater, it was half empty. It is Christmas Day, he could have made an exception... But NO.... Never going to this theater...

Husband and I are watching Star Wars for Xmas and theres 3 blunders during the film. The sound went out. Staff attempted to fix it. Then, lights went back out, movie came on, and sound went out again. Staff mentioned all would get money back, then another came back and said all would get a coupon. Wow. Its been 10 minutes and the movie hasnt come back on yet. >:/ Staff is keeping their holiday cheer on... I suppose its a positive note. .. Staff just came back, they cant fix it, they said we can get the coupons or watch another movie.... wow, my poor husband- he was so excited.

Compared to other theaters nearby, the admission price is too high. While other theater chains offer reward cards (Regal) or online coupons for concessions (Cinemark), AMC actually charges patrons for a rewards card. The concessions are likewise overpriced. In one case, I actually got sick from the hydrogenated goop they pass of as butter for the popcorn. Im not surprised others on this site have complained about a recent bug infestation in one of the theaters. Thats the standard of non-quality Ive come to expect from AMC.

we go to tons of movie theaters, always end up back at this one. Theyre very clean, even the restrooms. Has one of the most comfortable seats to ever sit on in the rooms in the right side of the theaters. Theyre not as crowed, has lots of nice stores surrounding it to eat then go watch a movie or have a coffee at. The only thing is snacks and food are a bit overpriced but most movie theaters are

Most helpful manager ever! We had a gift card given to us for a christmas present last year and didnt get to use it till we visited this theater, well the card strip was worn down and some of the card numbers rubbed off from sitting in my wallet for 9 months. After failing to get the card to work he let us still use it. The theater was clean and the concessions staff were friendly as well.

Great for a date. Pretty much every AMC theatre is well taken care of and clean with professional staff, this place is no exception. The staff are helpful and friendly. The facility is in tip top shape. The entire shopping area makes it a great date spot. The parking is tough. There are always more spaces on the South/East side. Popcorn and snacks are overpriced as usual.

Excellent service. Top notch installation and professional high quality products. Marina Pacifica does everything from lockouts, opening safe / vaults and key duplication services. I have their number saved in my phone whenever im in trouble they come within 10 - 15 minutes and give me a hand. most affordable prices in town as well

When I arrived at 11:00am, saw on the ticket window there was the sign of 2:45PM showtime, therefore I tried to call to see when the ticket is going to be sold at the ticket window. Terrible answering operator, hang up on me, called three times at 12:45pm. Theres no way to know when I can go purchase the tickets ahead of time.

A decent movie theater just blocks from Seal Beach and Belmont Shore. The theater is surely showing its age, stains on the seats and carpet everywhere, and the persistent smell of aging popcorn. The theater could use some refurbishment, but otherwise is a nice place to watch the newest Hollywood blockbuster.

My wife and I enjoy this theater very much. The crowd is typically very mellow and just a tad bit older. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. We usually see movies on opening night and usually get good seats without standing in line. Screens and sound are top notch. Seats are comfortable and clean.

The sound quality in these theaters is atrocious. The treble is so harsh it sounds like the actors are talking through tin cans. Theres no bass either, so explosions and loud action scenes dont have any impact. AMC theaters usually have great sound, but this one was a big letdown.

Big theater but not very busy. They do have some new reclining chairs which are very comfortable. On a different note, they charge the same amount of money as all other theaters but here you get your own drinks and put butter on your own popcorn. Self serve theater. #LocalGuides

First time I went to a theater here in Long Beach, and it did not disappoint! Good service, location and seats. Looked pretty clean safe, only thing was the food is a bit pricey... Other than that, every other thing was top notch. Ill be going there again this summer months. :)

The people are nice but the food is ridiculously overpriced. The devices for the hearing impaired do not work. There are only 2 of them for all the theaters and the people who work there KNOW they dont work. I am sad that I cant go back because they have very few customers.
