The food service area needs to be upgraded. one twenty year old microwave does not heat pizza, of all things "Little Caesars" pretty soggy and nasty, not a good deal. Clearly the food is purchased at Smart and Final which makes sense for the cheap taste. I always order the nachos and each time, the sauce is very old; taste spoiled and looks spoiled. They eventually replace it when I protest that I cant eat it but they appear upset that I have done so. Dont be cheap rotate your food stock. Inside the theater smells like urine and the ground is always wet, The teenagers that they hire appear to be autistic and I witnessed the owners yelling at the top of their voice at them for a mistake they made. They were given a task in the back of the theater and had broken something the husband and wife team took turns berating the children and could be heard over the sound of the film yelling at them of how stupid they were. Eventually I will stop going.

The crappy, unkempt outside is just a hint of whats inside. The Chinese family who runs the place will be seated in the middle of the lobby, having lunch and shrieking in loud conversation as if the theater lobby is their personal dining room, and it probably is. The place looks lived-in. Its not obvious if anyone works there. The bare metal seats and concrete floors remind me of an Auschwitz concentration camp. To see a movie, you need to buy half of a yellow scrap of paper that no one is there to check. The management is too busy enjoying their family spread in the middle of the lobby and letting chunks of chewed food fall out all over the place. If you are a crackhead looking for a place to come down off of your high, this is a great place for you. Normal people, dont even think about coming near here.

This friendly and family owned theatre has provided me with a wonderful movie viewing experience during my childhood. My family and I used to be regulars here back in the late 90s early 2000s. Several notable movies I watched here as a kid were the 1st Pokemon movie, the 1st Harry Potter film, Digimon, and SpyKids. They have an extremely friendly staff and I remember the owners son giving me all of the Pokemon Promo movie cards! I was the happiest kid! Time definitely flies! I am almost certainly coming here with my own kids someday.

I like Gardena Cinema a lot!! There is always parking space, I have never had the bitter experience of going all the way to the theater to find out the movie was sold out!! The screen is huge and in excellent shape, the sound is good and there is plenty of seats. the place is always clean and bathrooms are ok. The owner and his staff have always been very nice to us! If you are looking for "big corporation" fancy expensive everything experience dont come here since this is a more family owned, cozy, feel comfortable type of place!

Great little movie house. Always has the most popular film out, which could be both a good or bad thing. Could show more movies or even just one other small indie film for variety but not that big of deal. Family owned and they hire student from Gardena High, which is reason enough to keep going here. The prices are good but I have always snuck in my candy, Id suggest you do the same.

Amazing, sweet people who are very down to earth. Its nice and small, cozy even, feels like family. I love the old cinema vibes, honestly one of my favorite places and Ive only been there twice. First time there. Honestly I wasnt expecting such a good time. Its simple old school and cheap. Its not luxurious by any stretch of the word, its truly plain and simple. If their showing options werent so limited I would never go to any other theaters, unfortunately they are a small mom and pop shop so Ill catch em when I can.

Best deal in the area. Fresh popcorn popped and nachos are warm and crispy. Cheap snacks compared to the AMC. Check around town for flyer advertisement for coupon. You can get a free small popcorn with the purchase of a large soda and they let you use one coupon for up to 7 people in your group. Ticket prices are lower too.

This place has crappy and has over priced food. Soda machines are old and leave nasty after tastes. Popcorn is not fresh and stale. For a dollar more u can go to a better theather with better service. Owner us very pushy and wants to kick u out for conplaing about something. Reason y is so enpty.I will never go there again.

Went to see Finding Dory today and I really enjoyed my experience here. It wasnt crowded and the snacks were cheap. The only thing I didnt like was the pizza it tasted like microwaved leftovers that they had bought a night before. Anyways I will be coming back bc its close and convenient and I like avoiding big crowds

I really liked it, the quality of the screen is good. Is actually bigger than i thought. The popcorn have a homie taste I like. Prices are like a regular theater. I like the owners they are very nice and happy all the time, maybe thats why I like going.

I love this theater it is Sensory friendly to families who have special need children. This theater is run by a wonderful caring family who care about their community and the families affected by autism and other disabilities.

The cheapest movie theater in southbay. I miss the drive through movie theater there were a dollar cheaper and you get to see two movies. But overall this movie theater is ok.
