What a scam. $27 for parking at the parking garage closest to Regal Cinemas. I got to the parking garage a little after 9pm. Met a friend at a nearby restaurant, then after we went to see a movie at Regal. I validated my ticket for parking and when I put it in the machine to pay it was $27. I went back to the theater to double check if my ticket was validated correctly and the Regal Cinemas employee behind the guest services said $27 was correct and there was nothing he could do. This is an excessive charge for under 5 hours parking with validation. Ive been here countless times since this theater opened and this was a first. Maybe this movie was 30 minutes longer than other movies Ive seen in the past. Still, no reason to charge this much to park. The parking cost more than the movie ticket. There are many places like Arclight in Hollywood ($3 parking with validation) OR Landmark Theaters in West Los Angeles (Free Parking) to choose from. No wonder so many people getting in and out of Uber and Lyft cars in front of Regal. A place can scam someone one time if they only want your business one time. I hope Regal changes this high cost for parking. The parking should not be more expensive than the movie

Terrible management and poorly trained employees, the new theater itself is nice but the projector was out for 15 mins during the previews. Management thinks that having this problem was just completely fine, and they dont see it being a problem for guest, the worst part about it is they never said sorry about it. Even if you asked about it they blow it off as nothing. This reflects poorly on the theater there was no dedicated projectionist, which is why it took so long for the issue to be corrected on a Friday night. Management would rather argue with you aout the issue instead of making proper accommodations. After this incident some of the other patians in the theater were loud,, yet no usher in site, Man for a place that calls there customers "Guest" you really dont feel like one. I feel more welcomed in Colonie or Crossgates. For a theater that just re-opened everything should be running in tip top shape, but its quite the opposite you would think corporate would be keeping a closer eye on this theater. They have allot of work todo on there hospitality and customer service skills to say the least.

Ive watched movies at this theater at least once a month. It is clean, well-located on a corner, and there are usually enough employees around to assist. I did have an issue with a coupon offered on the Regal LA Live Facebook page on the same day I went to watch a movie. The guest services employee didnt have a clue about it, called another employee, both were clueless. Then they called a supervisor, who figured out what coupon it was, but was unable to access it. Another person was called. I was waiting over 15 minutes for them to figure it out. They finally did, but I missed the first few minutes of my movie. Another time, I waited at the concession area for the prepared food for 20 minutes because there was confusion on notifying people that their order was ready. Yes, it was literally 20 minutes because I timed it. Thankfully, I had 30 minutes before my movie because I made it while the movie trailers were still playing. Other than that, the employees are polite and helpful. The bathrooms are kept clean. There are assigned seats, except for the $8.00 Tuesdays. And the chairs are comfortable.

I used to go daily last year, i worshiped that theater but now its completely trash, last week i went for an advanced screening of Nightcrawler with my skateboard and they didnt complain or said anything, now today i went to go see dumb and dumber to & i waited two hours outside and right when i get my tickets and about to go in, A Security argues telling me i cant go in with my board but last week i went in with it like nothing, also the security was racist calling me Mexican but im fully American an cant even speak Spanish, All he did was racial profiled me for my looks. LA live regals isnt event that good, they are located by the ghetto and it int even nice in there, not real IMAX and not even real Hollywood theaters like Arclight or Chinese Theater or AMC complained about my board, they always let me in and they are real classy and professional, even the DOLBY, THE DOLBY in highland Hollywood let me in with my board, common regal. I wont even get started with customer , the lady had a bad attitude over the phone but i wont get into detail but this theater is very disrespectful

The tickets were regular price, though the food, of course, as expected of any movie theater was way overpriced and just edible enough to satisfy...some. The seats were comfy enough, though for someone as short as me it was a bit uncomfortable as my legs couldnt touch the ground and the seat kept trying to snap closed every time I moved. The sound quality was perfect though and as long as you got a seat somewhere in the middle, near the front, you had a pretty good view of the screen. The bathroom facilities were good for a public bathroom, though that doesnt mean that there wont be--accidents--from time to time. And anyone who ever thought that the womens restrooms were ever cleaner than the mens has obviously never visited one. One thing I would have appreciated though, would have been more seating arrangements in the lobby. I dont know about you but for those of us who dont have our own form of transportation at the moment and are eagerly awaiting to be picked up, its nice to be able to sit down and watched the view outside comfortably.

I have been to the 4DX room twice for Terminator Genisys and San Andreas. I love that the only one in the nation is in Los Angeles. The room itself feels high tech and makes for a great movie-going experience. The seats, when not in motion, are much more rigid than your average movie theater seat. The experience really depends on which movie youre seeing but it can definitely make an average movie more exciting. I havent been to the other screening rooms but I imagine them to also be nice as the lobby is always clean. The staff so far have been great. The major downside is parking. They dont really have their own lot so you have to either park across the street or at the structure closer to Staples. Even with validation you still have to pay around $6. Since its in downtown and around other major attractions I understand why it can be lacking in this department which is why this theater doesnt have a perfect rating. I would come again for special occasions and the 4DX theater.
