The course is in pretty good shape for August in Ohio. Its a decent layout, not too long which is good for old timers like myself. They could cut down 90% of their trees and greatly improve the course without changing the way the course is played. What is lacking is customer service. I played yesterday. I walked and my friend rode in a cart. At the turn I decided to ride. I went in to pay for half a car for 9 holes and saw that there is a senior rate (over 55 years old) for 18 holes walking. He charged me the higher rate for under 55. Dang, Im 65 years old. When I questioned him he replied "You didnt tell me you were over 55". Now Im not and expert but wouldnt someone interested in customer service say "Im sorry sir, my mistake. Let me make it up to you." His response told me they are just trying to gouge customers. Go a few more miles down the road and play Zoar Village Golf Course. Its a better course and they will treat you better.

Called the course on a monday 7/31/17 and spoke to an employee to book a 2pm tee time for 4 that following thursday 8/3/17. He confirmed the tee time. Show up to course on that thursday and tee off at 2pm. Standing on the green on #7 at 3:40pm the starter drives up and tells us a league is starting at 4pm. Nobody mentioned this on the phone or when we started. We could have scheduled a tee time much earlier if told. Finish our 9 at 4:05 (2:05 for 9) pull up to 10 where the starter doesnt apologize and basically acts as if this is our fault. Ended up waiting 30 minutes to tee off again to which we then find ourselves behind a slow league and the league group in front of us is a 5 some. Left around 7:30pm and will not go back. Id advise when making a tee time there u ask if there are leagues that will be in your way at the turn

We played this course on Sunday and we werent impressed. Basically just an average course with rude employees and slow players. I didnt find anything special about it and we came here because of the great reviews. Dont know if wed be back unless it was an amazing deal or we were in the area.

My home course. Played many times. Course is wide open and has a variety of hole layouts. The only negatives are the greens. They do not hold any balls easily. Also poorly marked yardage and tee boxes are moved without notice. Make sure to use a gps app or range finder.

I have volunteered at The Chase Faiello Memorial Golf Outing hosted here for the last 3 years. Each year they do a phenomenal job working with The Chase to put on an outstanding event.

Decent public course. Its length allows you to hit fairway woods on several holes. Greens in good condition Aug 2015.

Can be a little pricey at times but it is a golf course. Place is well taken care of though. Good overall experience!
