Ive been going to this theater for a long time and Im an AMC Moviewatcher and have been from wayyyyyyy back in the day when the AMC Moviewatcher card was paper and all black! I really like this theater; its definitely not perfect. They have teens working there throughout the year so the turnover rate is high. It can be annoying when you have an issue but so far, Management has been able to resolve my issues. During one of the showings of Enders Game, the fire alarm went off 3 different times despite their fixing it. They ended up shutting down that theater but thats soooo not typical of this theater. It was just one of those crazy things that happened. They refunded everyones money but I will admit they did not handle the situation well; Management definitely could use a course in customer service. You cant bring food into the theater but they have great stuff anyway for me. The chicken fingers, pretzels, pizza, nachos and hot dogs are great choices. I love the many choices of drinks including Icees! Lots of common candy choices and even ice cream. I am very comfy at this theater which is 8 minutes from my house. My kids go independently of my husband and I and they seem to like it as well. My hubby likes it but his first choice is the AMC Fallbrook which has less seats, 21+ and over only and a full lunch/dinner menu complete with alcoholic drinks lol It is more expensive but definitely worth a night out with hubby. Otherwise, for the usual quick movie, this is the theater for me (and hubby). My favorite thing about this theater is the kiosks where you can purchase or pick up tickets without standing in line. The lines can get long especially on a block buster weekend which I purposefully avoid lol. I keep my AMC card up to date and enjoy the rewards as they come!

For the love of God please do NOT give this movie theater your money. I watched Get Out with my boyfriend and the whole time the movie theatre was at a toasty 100 degrees AT NIGHT when its literally 50 degrees outside. On top of that the crowd of Immature ass people decided to show up and talk the WHOLE movie. Multiple people told them to shut up but none of the theater managers or people working outside decided to do ANYTHING. I promise you your money will be better spent elsewhere where annoying people arent hooting and hollering the whole movie. Dish out a couple extra bucks for a movie theatre like iPics or a smaller theater. Ive never wanted to get out (hehe) a movie theatre so fast! I PROMISE YOU, YOU WILL REGRET GOING HERE!!!!!!

Amid the dead Westfield Promenade, AMC Promenade 16 is still a great theater. My favorite experience here is the Dolby Cinema. It features transponders in the seats (your seat SHAKES to explosions!), leather reclining seats, and a laser projection system that allows the blacks to get... well, REALLY black and just an overall great experience. The IMAX theater here is sadly something film enthusiasts call "liemax". It isnt true IMAX. The projectors are dual 2K 3D Digital projectors, not any of the 15/70mm film IMAX projectors. On top of that, the screen size is big, but not as big as actual IMAX theaters. Currently, the closest, actual IMAX theater is in Universal City Walk.

Refills on soda! Had 5. Popcorn too! Extra large please. Hot dogs are wonderful as are the soft pretzels. Icee machines and the candy selection was amazing. Can anyone say " whoppers". Nothing goes better with gobs of butter from the popcorn. Just let those whoppers rest in the bucket of popcorn. When you finish that delicious popped corn A wonderful chocolate buttered dessert awaits. I swear, I could watch any movie here as long as the multiple snack bars keep the goodies coming. Love this place! Only tough part is carrying everything up the escalator. Always keep fingers crossed and pray the morning of for the upstairs snack bar to be open. 10 stars.

This AMC location is pretty great. I normally go on my days off which are Tuesday and Wednesday and dont have to deal with crazy crowds, loud people or long lines. The mall it is located at is pretty much dead, but you do have some great dinning options nearby if you want to do dinner and a movie. The interior of the theater is nice, relatively modern and the theaters themselves have very comfy seats. The atmosphere isnt spectacular due to the mall itself being close to a wasteland, and thats pretty much the only down side to this location.

Having worked at the AMC Promenade Theatres since I was a teen, this place hasd gone down hill a bit. Firstly, the crew doesnt do a fantastic job of checking to ensure there arent any distracting patrons (in the vein of Arclight Cinema). I understand that this may not be considered a premium movie theatre, but that doesnt mean that obnoxious behavior should be unchecked. Ill still recommend this theatre, but would love to see a better control over obnoxious patrons.

Its a relatively clean theater but I find their show times always try to push you into the 3D movies. The discount time always seems to have the regular movies at 9:00 am and 11:00 am is always where the more expensive 3D movies are. Its not upgraded like the other theaters in the area which have been getting more of our business like the theater in the Commons at Calabasas. It has the reclining seats and more room and is cheaper in price.

I was disappointed when I learned of AMC raising ticket prices, yet again. Used to get a good deal for any show before noon costing only $6. With prices getting so high theyve lost this customer. Id rather watch the blu ray down the road in the convenience of my own home (theater) where popcorn, candy and drinks cost less than a $1.00 and theres no 90s kids talking throughout the movie. Gotta draw the line somewhere!

Our vehicle was broken into and stripped while we watched the movie!! Mall management seemed unconvinced that there was a problem. Wonderful quote, "we cant be held responsible for every criminal that sneaks into our parking lot". Police were not surprised - apparently this has not been unusual for this mall. Ill stick with a mall that actually takes pride in offering a secure environment.

I use work here, and all you people with the negative remarks need to stop being dicks, we work our asses off to make sure you guys enjoy your experience, its not our fault that the prices for tickets and concessions are so high, thats not on us. I have to deal with some of the rudest customers who will complain about the smallest things, but its our job to be friendly and respectful.
