Mixed Experiences: Some customers have had excellent service, particularly when opting for VIP seating, which comes with attentive wait staff. However, others have reported delays in food and drink service, and some have even mentioned unresponsive staff.
First Impressions: The front desk staff generally received positive remarks for being friendly and helpful, although there were instances where customers felt rushed or inadequately informed.
Advance Booking Recommended: Due to the small size of the theaters, it's advisable to book tickets in advance. VIP seats, in particular, tend to sell out quickly.
Seating Options: The theater offers both regular and VIP seating. VIP seats come with added amenities like a pillow, blanket, and complimentary popcorn.
High but Justifiable: Tickets can be expensive, especially for VIP seating, which costs around $28. However, many customers find the experience worth the price.
Food and Drinks: While the theater experience is generally considered worth the cost, the food and drinks are often cited as overpriced.
Luxury Experience: iPic offers a luxurious movie-watching experience, complete with reclining leather seats, pillows, and blankets for VIP ticket holders.
Food and Beverage: The theater provides a menu for in-seat dining, although the quality of the food received mixed reviews.
Food Quality: Many customers feel that the food could be improved, describing it as bland or over-seasoned.
Service Timing: There were complaints about the timing of food and drink delivery, suggesting that the theater could benefit from more efficient service.
iPic Theaters in Houston offers a unique, luxurious movie-going experience that many find worth the higher ticket price. However, the venue could improve in areas like food quality and service efficiency to truly justify its premium pricing.

My wife and I went on Wednesday the 14th to watch Snatched because a buddy of mine suggested we give it a try. We arrived about an hour early, so we sat at the bar and had a drink. We went into the theater about 40min before the show was going to start, sat down in our seats and pushed the button to order our drinks and food. Being our first time we asked the waitress if we had to order everything at once or if we could order throughout the movie. We were told we could order at anytime. We placed our drink order and also ordered an appetizer. Our appetizer arrived approximately 10-15minutes after the movie started. We had seen other couples that arrived after us already getting their drinks so we pushed the button to call out waitress. When she arrived we told her we had not gotten our drinks yet, she apologized said they would comp the drinks. Since we had her there we went ahead and ordered food. We received our drinks and once we were almost finished we pushed the button to order another round. A different waitress came to us and when we asked for another round she had said that our movie was almost over, we never received our food. We definitely loved the concept and we will give it another try, hopefully it was just an off night for the service. I will leave another review after our next visit. UPDATE: We took our kids to see Despicable Me 3 and the service this time was spot on. They do have a kid friendly menu available, ours ordered the Nachos just a warning for the parents, they did come with what looked like Pico so we had to take that off the top. My wife and I ordered pizza, she had the Margherita and I had the Meatza those were delicious. If you have a bad experience the first time please dont write a place off anyone can have an off night.

iPic is a luxury movie experience. When you walk in, you feel like youre walking into a 5 star hotel its so nice in there. The cashiers at the front are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend purchasing the tickets in advance because the theaters are small and they sell out fast. The tickets are $28.00 each for the VIP seating and $16.00 for regular seating (which you dont want!!!) My best friend and I went for the first time on Christmas night and the VIP seats were sold out. The regular seats are at the very front of the theater and you have to hold your head back its so close! You also have to get up and go out of the theater if you want to purchase food and drinks you will not get a waiter. Those tickets are definitely overpriced! The VIP seating is worth every penny. You get a pillow and a blanket, and complimentary popcorn. The seats are leather and recline! They are very comfortable, you almost feel at home. The food is pretty expensive and disgusting! It has no flavor. Ive been here 3 times. I have had the buffalo spring rolls, fried chicken, and shrimp skewers. Every time my food was bland. The only one i would recommend is the shrimp skewers. Dont expect anything fancy, it is literally going to come with about 6-8 jumbo shrimp with 1 on each stick and a piece of sausage (which was burnt), there wont be any peppers. So, the moral of the story is you will enjoy the experience, but not the food. The service is pretty good and everything comes out timely they really should work on their food though it makes the quality of the place go down.

I love the theater itself love the reclining seats blankets pillows and service when you buy the priciest seats in the house, thats not my problem. My problem is mainly the service, 1st the cashier I had was not very friendly to say the least. It was me and my wife first time here so we didnt know anything about anything, instead of explaining to us the different seats and its amenities she rushed us along and had a attitude if we asked a question. We chose the best seats which are called the deluxe or something to that nature I believe, you get to pick where you sit and we paid for the 10pm showing that morning. When we showed back up to see the show someone was already sitting in our seats. It took them over 20mins to figure it out movie was already about to start and they still dont know how the same seats got double booked, we had to get different seats and sit in the exact spot I hate to sit at. Also without warning the kitchen and bar closed on us about halfway through the movie. Also it took like 30 mins wait just on a drink!! Not to Mention theres a little button you hit to callthe waiter, he took 20mins to answer. On top of that The food took forever, yet the waitress was at least polite. There was no apologies given no type of appreciation for our business or anything. To say I spent over $100 here for bad service and complications for me and my wife ending to our 1st anniversary was not pleasing to say the least. The food was good and drinks were overpriced but good. Definitely something youd want to experience but only mabey once.

Over priced theatre with little bang for your buck. Over 50 dollars for two to watch a film with a complementary small popcorn. The pillow was lousy, but the blanket was a nice touch. I was in theatre two and the seats D9-D10 didnt even fully recline which is half of the reason to go. On top of that my feet were hanging off the end of my chair resting on the wood railing in front of me and Im not even tall, about 510. Extremely uncomfortable if I wanted to stretch out. I give this a one star furthermore because of the service. I ordered a second drink halfway through my movie and my server takes my drink order, but never returns. I gave ample time for any issues, roughly half an hour before pressing my button again to speak with our server. At this time a server arrives and I tell him Ive been waiting about a half hour for my drink, and he responds with puzzlement unaware that I had even ordered one. I again tell him what I would have liked for a second time and he replies with absolutely. My server then returns another 10 minutes later without my drink, without anything, but drops my checkbook on the table. I never received a second drink after asking twice for one. For charging over 50$ for two to see a movie I find it absurd to be treated this way. Overall I would not recommend this theatre if you thought that it may be nice to have a cocktail while watching your movie because you may or may not ever get one.

At first glance, iPic Theaters seems like an overly expensive movie theater. And if thats your impression, youre absolutely right, it is. But, this isnt the sort of place youd go to for your regular movie experience. This is a place you go to to get pampered. If you pay the extra money for the VIP seats, the wait staff is very good and attentive, you get bottomless pop corn, you get a comfy pillow and blanket, your seats are super comfortable and recline, you have a little privacy wall so you can share your movie with a partner - this is almost as comfortable as staying home to watch a movie, and you get a bigger movie experience than you get at home. The place is seriously impressive. Even if you dont get the VIP seats, its a very comfortable movie experience compared to any other place. In the VIP seats, if I could make one (minor) improvement, Id use some under-utilized space on the privacy wall for coat hooks. Its rare to need them in Houston, but on the occasions you do have to carry a big coat, you dont want to have to hold onto it throughout your movie. On the food, I found some items a little over-seasoned (at these prices, you should nit-pick on the food). To get such a great experience, you have to expect youre going to pay quite a bit of money. Is it worth it? For a special occasion, I say go for it.
