Seems almost everyone likes the Cinemark 10 in Cathedral City, but I dont. Yes, the tickets are cheap. But most of the movies playing are old and you can rent them on DVD or blu ray for a similar price. At least one of the screens is so old its discoloured and should be replaced. I went to see Furious 7 today. The screen was small, and as soon as the movie started there were rows of black lines running down most of the right side of the screen. When I went to talk to the staff I was told the film was scratched and would I like to see Hot Pursuit which is digital? Tell me, if you paid to see Furious 7, would you want to see Hot Pursuit instead? When I asked if they thought that was acceptable they shrugged their shoulders and gave me a readmission ticket. Not that its likely Ill ever go back. On my previous visit someone was shouting at the screen all the time. I say rent the disc, the price, quality and experience is far superior. Its not worth the drive to the theater!

why are you subscribed?

Out of everything... yes, yes I do like it, but it doesnt give out the individual experience that a regular movie theater would give. What im trying to say is the sound doesnt feel realistic, like they try making everyone hear exactly the same thing, which isnt like feeling the EXPLOSION HAPPENING RIGHT NEXT TO US IF YOUR CLOSE TO THE WALL like in Mary Pickford. So instead of that you hear everything happening infront of you... in ONE SPOT! Im not saying thats bad, Im just saying that the experience isnt full, and the screening is good... if you see it in the first 2 WEEKS! AFTER THAT ITS SO DANG HORRIBLE! ALL THAT YOU SEE IS GREEN LINES BLOCKING YOUR VIEW! But I do like that your more prown to crying there for some reason, and the popcorn is GREAT! So ya, one thumbs up... and one thumbs down... sowwy!?

Great place for your money! The cinemas usually play movies that have been in other theaters for at least a month. Some of the theaters are very small, but they all have excellent seats, screen and are usually clean. Employees are very friendly and helpful. On the other hand be prepared for the crowds. Some people like to cheer, scream, and depending on the movie they applaud during and at the end of the movie. So I would describe this place with three words: Colorful, unique and etnich.

Not at all happy with the staff at the snack counter, dont appreciate them taking advantage of a kid, she ordered a drink and a soda and was told that nibs came with it, we told the girl at the counter that we didnt want the nibs, basically was told to bad theyre yours...so a large drink and lrg popcorn wouldve been 11.25 turned out to cost 16.75 with nibs we didnt even ask for or want. Very disappointed with their tactics.

Am quite pleased with the new ownership and upgrades. Its still a pleasure to be able to see good movies at low costs. When an average theater is now costing almost $40 four just to walk in this place is a relief to the budget especially with kids. The staff is very friendly. Sadly the snacks are as expensive as any other theater. Seats are much more comfortabl than they used to be. overall a welcomed experience.

Hey I like this theater, I think its great, u cant beat the price and some movies arent even that old. Its in a great shopping center, shops for clothes, restaurants, ice cream place and a shopping store, the location of this theater is awesome. Theres even a school and a baseball field across the street, what more can u ask for?

Awesome movie theater! My family of five can enjoy a movie, arcade games, goodies at the concession stand and a keepsake pic from the photo booth for around $40 instead of dishing out $100 at other theaters. Plus they have a great taco place and desert shop next door for after the movie cravings.

Regency 10, cathedral city is the place to go, my husband i i go once if not twice a week and we watch two movies on Sundays $1.50 movies?? Cant be mad at that. Staff is super friendly, so far our experience at regency 10 has been great. Also dont forget to ask for your rewards card :)

Staff is nice, food over priced, tickets, great price, but crying babies and loud kids in adult mature movies ruines the whole point of entertainment. One possible way to repair this problem? If possible for you guys, position staff to ensure quality of entertainment is good. :)

My first time in this theater......great smiley well dressed people......theater was very clean......and the seats very comfortable. One negative I thought the Popcorn was very expensive. My overall view is a 5 to be sure. I have told everyone about my experiences.

Overall really efficient. All the employees are really nice, but it can really use better seats. Currently.. Their not so good, and make new ones larger and less tiiny-tiny and more new arcade games! Other than that you guys need bathroom mirrors...

MY experience is Amazing, the movies there come a bit later but its still the best. The service is great and their all very nice and are kind to the customers. I would recommend going there because the place is a good place in general.

Staff was friendly. Seats are extremely comfortable. Great sound & picture. Only problem was the bathrooms were filthy. They actually have a baby changing station that was a plus for me. Other than that great place.

We come to this theatre most weeks. Best deal in the desert. Staff are nice, popcorn is great and where else can you go and see big screen movies for $2.50. And given the time of day, that is for two tickets!

Love the movie Beauty and the Beast!! We had so much fun .. best way to COOL OFF and LOVE ALL THE UPGRADES TOOOOO.. nice friendly people and they have cold mouth watering iceEZzzzz mmmmm

I watched the Lego batman movie with my 4 year old, it was so funny! We had a memorable time for such an affordable price. The seat quality was superior. Thank you "dollar theater!"

Watched Guardians of the Galaxy here for $2.25 on Sunday afternoon. Great picture quality and the seats were just fine. Great find for our day trip to Palm Springs.

I had a good time. Sound and image are great. Chairs are okay because they sqeak once you lay back which to me is quite annoying if your trying to get comfortable.

My kids love coming here, and for the price, who can complain? They even refill popcorn. Its a great place to come on a Sunday afternoon.

Good staff and friendly but you only go so far for being cheap. Great for the price but Id never go here as a first choice.
