I have been playing here since 1995 and it is in the best shape ever. They are doing a lot of work to make it better. Come play this course, you wont be disappointed. - Neal - May 15, 2013 July 2013 WOW! You have to get out here and play. Best greens within 500 miles. What a difference the past few years makes. I spoke with Lisa in the Pro shop regarding the great course conditions. The two new greens look great. The new planted fairways are coming back great. Not one bad patch on #11 (can you believe it). She told me that the GM and the maintenance crew are working diligently day to day, sun up to sun down to put their course back on the radar. Man. She isnt kidding. She also mentioned of after the fall out with the development with Mira Bay she said they are here to stay and the golf course conditions, members, guests and staff are top priority. Lisa said she wants every talking about Apollo Beach Golf Club. I must say Lisa, you are well on your way. You have to buy their Club Membership IT IS the BEST DEAL AROUND. Come check out the course. - ShootingPar1964 -

Disappointing course, each hole drones on with nothing interesting about the layout. There was a few holes with somewhat interesting approach shots over water but, over all its boring. It is a tight course and almost any out of bounds shot will land in water. Fairways overall were a mixed bag, some hard some soft, some had weeds and different types of grass mixed in, no consistency. Greens were very slow and flat and then you get 1 or 2 that were fast. Some greens had huge 4-6 foot dead grass spots. I gave it a 1 star b/c it is not well maintained at all.. The course has potential but I wont be back here for a long time even if they offered me a free round. So many other choices of way better courses within 10-20 miles of this place

Ive been coming to this park my entire life. Its nice, the location is good. They have a skate park, a running track, volleyball court, basketball court, weight room, large field to play soccer if you have the equipment, and even tennis courts. I wont give it five stars only because its not very well maintained and they dont bother fixing or updating a lot of older or run down things like the bathrooms, water fountains, showers, and benches/pavilion. Overall though, a great park that has something for everyone.

I will be surprised if this place lasts another year before going bankrupt. Its very sad, due to it being a pretty nice layout. Go ahead and visit one of the 30 other options in a 20 mile radius, as this place may be in the worst condition in Hillsborough county. This place needs to clean house, meaning new management, greenskeeper, and probably ownership too for it to have a fighting chance. They charged a premium rate for a course in ill repair. Needless to say our group will not be back anytime soon

Ive been golfing here since I was a kid first learning how to golf. Its a fun course with great greens. The prices are fair, and the faculty are very nice and friendly. The course isnt always in perfect condition but its hard to keep grass green when your located so close to salt water. It is definitely a much nicer golf course now as opposed to two years ago.

The greens were spotty at best. The tee boxes looked like they hadnt been cut in two months with weeds everywhere (which matched the fairways). The course was in poor shape, dont know how they are still in business. This location has great potential, too bad they dont take care of it. There is a reason it is so cheap to play.

Weve played this course 3 times now and will probably play again. Its kind of a typical Florida course, lots of water, some trees and not very much elevation. In January it wasnt in the best condition but we still had a nice round. They will pair you up, even if its not real crowded.

There is not one good thing so say about this course!! It is too bad they dont care of this course! They should pay the golfer to go thru this disgraceful conditioned golf course!! If I could rate it a zero I would!!!

Has really come a long way. Fun to cross bridge. Parking challenging. Crossing road with golf cart a little scary with traffic.

Definitely my favorite course in the Southeast Hillsborough area. Staff is super friendly and course has beautiful scenery.

The greens were very very rough. Pace of play was good and the course was otherwise in decent shape. Greens were the worst.
